Let em cry it out when they are young. Older, then then let em talk it out. Both eventually tire-out and give up.

I keep re-learning this lesson.

That's how you do it bro. Chicks gonna hamster, doesn't mean you have to respond...

I've had a rocky 18 year start to my marriage because I just had to win those same types of arguments, show her how wrong she was, etc.

Since taking the RP a few months ago now, I STFU after a brief stab at A&A and away we go. Now after she flips her shit and self-recovers, I get comments like "wow, something has changed in you" and "you never get fazed anymore by my antics". Working well for me so far.

Next time take your finger and put it on her lips.

I like this the best.

I was honestly thinking about this Riccardo Patrese video the whole time. It's what kept me smiling as she yammered on, starting with me me not listening to her advice, our relationship and somehow her father came into what she was saying? I dunno was a total hamster pukefest.

From Tsun Tzu: The Art of War

Ground on which each side has liberty of movement is open ground.

On open ground, do not try to block the enemy's way.

[Because the attempt would be futile, and would expose the blocking force itself to serious risks.

I am going to do a post on this ground concept. Damn if there isn't a lot to work with!

Dispersive ground is where you start.
