Withdrawing every time she does this in the hope that she might notice the withdrawal, and then piece together the reason, is never going to work. That's not positive reinforcement, either - it's punitive, making it negative reinforcement.

Have you discussed it with her? Have there been follow-up conversations? You'll need to point it out as she's doing it, or she'll never learn to notice, but that will only seem confrontational if you haven't had a separate conversation about it already. Be prepared to tell her how it makes you feel.

Positive reinforcement will be when you notice that she caught herself about to interrupt you, and didn't. When you get to that point, make sure she knows you've noticed and show her your appreciation.
