OP is asking how to play the age old good 'ol "game of the schoolyard" this game is ever prevalent - "prison is high school mentality with deadly consequences", and noam chomsky learned much about imperialism by " watching bullies in the schoolyard"

48 laws is a good recommendation, but it is more theoretical, a guide with practical, example scenarios would be cool as fuck.

I can say go out and live in the world, hang out with all sorts of people. talk to the bros at the gym..... go play basketball with strangers at a "hood" inner city park on the weekend...... chat with cops .......observe and spend time with the dominant men. whether you like it or not some of their way of being will rub off on you..... moreso if you actively seek to follow their ways or ask for their council..... think of when other have dominated you.... do the same sh*t on others...

I know we've all heard of it before. I know it. But "How to Win Friends and Influence People" is potent for social engineering. It is concise and it works. Post Script -- far better than "The Seven Habits....," that book is platitudes.
