Am I being unreasonable that I don’t really want him to? I mean it’s up to him what he spends his money on, but he’s asked me several times if I want a bigger ring, or if I’m “embarrassed” by the small stone. The stone is small, especially by US standard (we’re in Europe) and he keeps going on about the rings some of our friends have... the thing is I LIKE my ring (it’s small and tasteful) plus there’s the whole romantic story of the engagement behind it and I feel like it just wouldn’t be the same if we replaced it. I think maybe HE’S embarrassed about it for some reason? Thing is, those same friends with the massive rings? Either never went on honeymoon or just went on a short break. We had two trips of a lifetime and made memories that I wouldn’t replace for all the diamonds in the world...

Am I being unreasonable to be reluctant to replace the ring?
