Probably should re-evaluate how you're treating a plate, sounds like this chick thinks you're in an LTR. Also, there were probably some warning signs you missed along the way, look back at the red flags she started putting up and keep a wary eye for the future.

She emotionally blackmailed you and most likely wouldn't actually kill herself. Even if she would, and this will sound harsh, but she is no one to you and her life isn't your responsibility.

Here's what you should do. Pick the most valuable and trustworthy of those mutual friends and tell them in confidence what happened. Play them the audio if need be. You'll need people on your side if the shit goes down.

If she was ready to threaten YOU with taking her own life and be an emotional manipulator level CUNT, she might be ready to manipulate your friends into hating your guts. Losing a social circle is one thing, but having a whole social circle hate you is another.

Also, do not respond to any of her messages and calls. If she confronts you about it play dumb (e.g. "My phone is buggy so I didn't see the notifications, what's up?")

Even if that looks like a crazy bitch shit test, I’d still be careful with suicide threats. 99% of times it’s bluff, but 1% is not. And if she eventually kill herself (or damage herself enough), in the best case you’ll blame yourself for not doing anything to prevent her doing this; in the worst case scenario, you could be accused of not helping someone in danger, or even be the cause of it, and risk jail time.

I think it has been said enough times on TRP, we usually know how a « poor young desparate lady pushed to suicide by an evil male asshole » story ends up in front of a judge.

Protect yourself and tell someone, either her parents if she’s close to them, a suicide help group, the police, whatever, but cover you ass, and keep proof that you informed someone of the situation.

And, of course, NEVER have any contact with her again.

Well, obviously she just threw up a red flag that makes it impossible to continue any sort of relationship with her. So it’s over. Decision made.

Now, tell her that what she said scared you and that you think you need a break for a while. Then go no contact.

If you’re lucky, she’ll just fade into the background.

If you’re not lucky, she’ll reach back out with drama. If it’s run of the mill bullshit drama, ignore and refuse to play that game with her. She just wants attention.

If she goes nuclear and threatens suicide again, call 911 and send the police and ambulance to her house (Or wherever she is). If she is truly suicidal, she will get the trained help she needs. If she just being super dramatic and irrational and trying to get a “capt save-a-ho” White knight reaction out of you, the EMTs and police all showing up in her driveway in the middle of the night should put a stop to that.

To be merciful towards her, intentionally fail shit tests, provoke more, slowly make her lose attraction for you so she thinks "why was I even thinking about him?" until you get "let's be friends". Then you have disabled her thoughts of suicide. It's really easy and you won't get bad reputation.

Do you want to keep her around? If yes, then do it. Do you no longer want to maintain your relationship with her? If yes, then end it. I get that it doesn’t seem that simple but not only is it that simple, it makes a decision that much easier. But more specific advice, which you seem to want, I’d end it and cover your tracks the way you already have begun doing. That’s what sucks about crazy chicks. They’re often hot and fun, but accounting for increased liabilities is certainly necessary. Anyone who says they will kill themselves over the loss of a relationship has far deeper issues that are showing through that relay, whether it be actual suicidal thoughts or the capacity to intimate suicide as a manipulative tactic.

As insane as it sounds, I’ve had a plate say the exact same thing. In my experience, my plate guilted me to stay longer than I wanted to (exactly like what happened with you). I showed my beta side, made sure everything is okay, before having her kiss me and me leaving after.

The next day, she continues to be bi-polar. Threats, tears, regret, begging me to meet, etc. I went to her place the third day, and did the deed. When she walked into another room, I snooped her phone. Turns out she does this to MULTIPLE men. Same shtick. I even saw a man’s jacket in her living room (meaning while she was telling me her suicidal thoughts, she had another one over).

Women like these only know how to bluff. They’re desperate for attention, and want as long a list of men to call for a booty call as possible. Ignore that shit. I blocked her a week after on all platforms, no explanations. Till today, her IG is still filled with happiness. It’s all a bluff, fuck her for making you feel guilty. Let someone else handle her.

My advice depends on where you are, but your goal is to get her the mental health services she needs and once they accept they'll take care of it, and follow their instructions after telling them you want out and are concerned for your safety.

Why?

If psycho says or does anything stupid, your ass is properly covered legally.
It's the right thing to do.
It'll help her out.
She's less likely to murder you in your sleep next week if she's getting her meds.
It helps the next bro out in case she does something stupid on his watch by building documented precedent.
