LTR is pregnant. I fucked up and I take 100% responsibility.

Could be alot worse. She would be a good mom.

I've suppressed the alpha to comfort her and be there for her during the pregnancy. Lately, there are signs of disrespect as I do my best to cheer her up or cook her dinner.

Lots of shit tests. Challenging my masculinity/drive.

How do I balance the alpha and beta to ensure a supportive but respectful behavior?

I don't see how any of the aspects of your analysis, while all true statements, preclude him from being alpha. Lack of all of those traits are certainly keeping him from good beta status, but not a single one of those are required for alpha traits. If anything, I'd argue they lean him towards being MORE alpha.

Stick the alpha/beta shit on a shelf and concentrate on being a straight up attractive, masculine man that can support his LTR and child at all times, including rainy days

Lift and read. Dread is not necessary if you are visibly improving yourself. Including fixing your own car, job and savings account.

If you've spent anytime in r/WhereAreAllTheGoodMen, even just for humor, you'll quickly see there is epidemic levels of pregnant thots on dating and hookup sites that left the peice of shit that got them prengant and are desperately looking for any beta bux / backup plan to replace their poor choice of a man. They get a new look on their life when pregnant and suddenly playing Madden or World of Warcraft all day long isn't just annoying, it's down right unacceptable. They will now see that same man they would happily have sex with 12 weeks ago as an UNFIT LOSER and will actively "KILL THE PUPPY" while still pregnant. Then the facebook and insta posts will come exposing the drama saying stuff like "what a loser, I can't believe I fell for his lies" and her DM blows up with her beta male orbiters. Bingo! She lands Steve, Captain-Save-A-Hoe, the Bobby Back-Up-Plan-Man! Half the men in this sub are the "backup plan" or the "beta bux" who have just woke up to realize their life sucked and needed to make changes.

Here's my take:

She knows you are an unfit provider, a poor leader, and can't handle her without emasculation or butt hurt. Her constant shit tests are not just annoying, it is her HYPERGAMY in overdrive. She is trying to kill the puppy. She's trying to make you leave, not trying to boss you around. This relationship, your status as the man of the house, your ability to live in the same house, kiss this baby goodnight, teach it to walk, ride a bike, dribble a basketball, and protect it from some child molesting asshole as the head of the household is in CRISIS LEVEL RISK. Even if she hates her mom, right now any and all family members will support her in leaving you at the drop of a hat and forgive all of her past wrongdoings if there are any and kiss her ass to be in that babies life too. If you don't get a good job right now and read up on what a REAL MAN looks like in the sidebar, you're gonna get weekends, every other holiday, and maybe a month in the summer all while paying out 40% of your check for the next 18 years while someone else fucks this woman and lives in the same house as your kid.

By the way, kids that don't live in the same house as their father are 10x more likely to get molested and kids raised in a single mother household are 20x more likely.

Get your shit together, the world as you knew it is over, you need to get really mad at yourself and transform into a better version overnight.

I'm going through the same thing now myself. You do need to get your shit together and get it together fast. Start by getting your workout routine going and don't let her take you away from it. I started my daily exercise routing and my wife would not stop shit testing me to see if I would stop. Even if your LTR is pregnant, you still need to make time for yourself. The thing is, you also need to take care of her at some level at the same time. I made the mistake of going off the end with selfishness and that just put her over the edge with crazy hormones. What I learned from my till a few days ago is you just have to maintain you basic frame at all times and not let the shit tests get under your skin. There is no better opportunity to learn than now, so enjoy your crash course.
