This is the article that got me here. Writer of this post, if you are reading this, know that you changed many lives for the better. Thank you for that article.

Ha, remember this post when I first found this sub, biggest eye-opener there is amongst this sub and its related material.

So much fucking time wasted in my teens along truckloads of frustration talking to girls in highschool on MSN and texting and orbiting them and playing the caring/emotional nice guy archetype as I saw it in all the mainstream/disney moves, all the while listening on and on how they called other boys assholes or idiots only to end up fucking them while I remained an emotional friendzone tampon that they always told the same shit as OP "You are so good you deserve a great girl you'll get one someday" yet when I asked they wouldn't introduce me to their hot friends, gee I wonder why.

Several months after reading it got to end my dryspell of 1-2 years can't even remember with a cunt who said she was also ending a dry spell that lasted sooooo long, asked her how long and she said "2 ehhhh maybe 3 months", instantly this article instantly came to mind.

All the fucking work I had put in those past several months, from the lifting & the dieting to the reading to the practice to the rejections to dealing with my own shit to be able to compete in the fucking market, and this bitch simply had to go out one night and be susceptible to someone's approach, that was the anger phase for me, how a girl of equal attractiveness had it so fucking easy compared to a guy in today's SMP.

Whenever I have a bad day now I do the best negative visualization exercise; imagine what I would be like if I had never read all these other men's experiences and never understood the reason I was getting jack shit while the other "assholes" got the pussy I was orbiting.

She was sparing your feelings, by the way, just in case you never put 2 and 2 together. Her 2-3 month dry spell was more likely a 2-3 week dry spell

[–]1CoupDeGrace2218 points19 points  (3 children) | Copy

lol bitch probably wasn't even having one on hindsight given how there was a fucker blowing her phone up that night, but c'est la vie

[–]antariusz6 points7 points  (1 child) | Copy

Heh, even better. That’s how you know she wanted to keep you. She’ll hide her past and pretend to be a good person worth investing your future in. She detected just enough beta personality traits to think that you’d value virtue.

[–]Mukato8 points9 points  (0 children) | Copy

this, so fucking much.

When you fuck a girl and she openly talk about all the other guys and their game because you "just get it" is fucking eye opening. I remember the first time it happened, impossible to forget seeing that rose-colored mirror shatter.

A woman's "dry spell" is not fucking 9-10 Chads. Having to subsist on standard dick doesn't make her as wet...hence the phrase dry spell.

That post just hit home on so many levels

It's amazing how similar his life was too mine

Almost everything he wrote was like it was my life he was talking about as well, I could feel all his pain reading that because I went through it all

I may never be red pill Chad but i 100% will never go back to the blue pill person I was before I discovered this place

When I first read this article it was a relief. I had found others like me and I wasn't insane or alone for thinking the way I did.

I had come to the conclusion that the western world lied to us at every opportunity in so many fashions however, reading it from someone else with over 10k views just cemented the truth at the time.

The truth that there was a blue pill narrative many of us were raised with and that there was treatment and a way to take control and enjoy our own lives and it's the red pill.

edit: word

Can someone explain what the blue pill Is?

[–]Budfox_921 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

The person in the title story is an example of a blue pill person

The beginning was the most 'anger phase' thing I've seen in a while. Simultaneously useful for the empathy of every other guy who turns bitter when they unplug, and also not a great thing for those not interested in unplugging to read out of context

Yes, I know, this is old sidebar material reposted.

It's interesting to see how my view has changed since this was originally posted.

When it was first posted I saw a little bit of myself in him. No, my experiences weren't exactly the same, but I empathized with him.

Now, years later (and hopefully smarter) I feel almost a bit of revulsion for his naivete. It's strange how my worldview has almost made me forget how I got here in the first place.

This is one of the most important things somebody can read if they're right off the blue pill boat, because there's a good chance they've had similar thoughts and feelings.

You just described what I was thinking

[–]ThrowFader4 points5 points  (3 children) | Copy

deleted What is this?

[–]lopsidedlucky8 points9 points  (2 children) | Copy

It's not luck. It's perseverance and determination to know what the fuck happened and how we went wrong. Scouring for answers on the internet knowing there was something wrong since the blue pill narrative failed.

Then we find our way to TRP. Most men just continue on to the next girl or wife never stopping to learn about wtf is wrong with the disney narrative.

[–]theXald2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

It's because we're not fucking insane. Doing the same thing expecting different results. We realized what we were doing wasn't working and decided to try something else, and it's difficult to accept, though that's the difference, no?

[–]DamnDirtyApe872 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

I had the exact same feeling reading it a year and a half ago.. I'm doing much better now, but it's good to reread it again after all this time. The anger phase is real.. the gym was a great place to be to let it out.

[–]Grauer_Ritter11 points12 points  (0 children) | Copy

When I first came to TRP just under a year ago it was to see what all the proverbial "mansplaining false victimhood bs" was. Then I read this post off the sidebar, and realized how much it reverberated with me. Just a freshman in college (even worse on a Saturday night) who had never gotten "the girl," and was finally realizing how wasteful I was in pursuing them. There is still so much to internalize, and I still show some beta traits/fuckups, but this read was my game changer.

This was the one of the first posts I ever read at the start of my red pill journey. Good motivator to realize I was on the same path to 'incel hell' as the author

  • When i hear a woman tell me that she’s gone through a dry spell and not had sex in over X weeks/ months...
  • When i hear a woman tell me that she feels ugly or unloved or unwanted because her partner hasn’t touched her in over 6 months...
  • When i hear a woman tell me that she just picked up a random guy for a night of fun because she was lonely...
  • When i hear a woman tell me that i shouldn’t feel bad about having gone without for so long, after all it’s only just sex...

Dude. Stop talking to women. Nothing good comes of it. No point listening to the shit that comes out their mouths. Its a waste of time.

I'd say this post was made when he was in the early stages of unplugging. It's good to see the thought process he went through.

Great shit, I find reading posts like these and remembering where I started keeps me moving forward.

I'm not this wau because I wanted to be, I am the way I am now because my experience , knowledge , and the wisdom of this sub brought me here

This and Michael's story was really struck a cord with me (and probably most men). I am enjoying the lockdown thus far and its probably the best thing this sub has done in a while.

I am not new to TRP and nothing in this article was new to me, per se, but the way it was presented and organized made me look at all these concepts through a different lense so to speak.

Telling a guy that he's "marriage material" is far from a compliment (even though in women's minds, for some reason this is the one they always give to betas). I'll never forget all the female friends that I reconnected with after a year or two and their reactions to the "new me". I remember them saying "You used to be so innocent, what happened?!?" and I remember how good that felt, even though I couldn't explain why it felt so good. If a woman ever calls you an "asshole" or "douchebag" or anything along those lines, that means you're headed in the right direction. That means that you're no longer the friendly beta that gets friendzoned, she's starting to view you as a threat that could possibly fuck her best friend if you wanted.

This was one hell of a post.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
