WEEKEND MEGATHREAD: Favorite red pill Blogs, Authors, Books, and Podcasts

I've noticed my feed reader dwindling as voices disappear from the internet. Some classic red pill guys have turned to politics, some to Jesus, and some are simply shuttered by the powers that be.

So in this thread, let's share notes and links about the best content on the web that you can get today.

Bonus points if it's written but podcasts and video channels are also welcome!

My man... you're blessed to have come across it so early. The content will transform your life and help you avoid common mishaps in college, and in life in general. I only discovered it at 24 yrs, 5 years ago. Wish I had been 15.

The only shame though; is that there's no archive (that I've seen anyway) that includes the posts plus the comments section. Because that section was far richer than the actual posts themselves. Far richer. I learned stuff I never would've picked up in my lifetime from the commenters there. Straightforward, abstract, no-bullshit advice on every aspect of life. I started reading Dostoevsky because a particularly astute commenter called Rum recommended him, and said he trained to become a doctor because he admired a character from one of his books. And that author's special. I refined my text game to a crazy level just from picking up on the banter in the comment section. Some of my fondest memories involve reading through the posts and subsequent replies from dusk till dawn. I owe a lot to that community; it's a shame I'll never meet most of them. Go back to the pre-2012 posts, where the content was at its finest and most cerebral... if only you could access the comments to those posts as well; you'd be mind-blown.

Someone once put it this way: the commentariat on the site was, at one point, the most intelligent in the world. And for sure it was. Most of all; I mourned that the commentary was gone... forever.

All the best in life young man. Sincerely.

Damn it’s gone way downhill. I guess good space now for some solid up and coming talent to take the stage. Men will always need to get laid and the old school guys are getting too old and don’t know what it’s like for younger guys now.

Jocko is awesome. I wouldn't call it redpill material...but definitely all things masculine and celebrating that.

[–]hans_flammenverfer0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

I wouldn't be surprised if he were red pilled, but there's no way he's foolish to nuke himself by admitting to it. Claiming to be against the dominant narrative only results in the entire establishment trying to deplatform you.

All free downloads here:

One man's search for his mission and enlightenment while in the British calvary, in captivity in the middle east, and during WWI:

The lives of a Bengal Lancer

Classic Red Pill novel also about WWI, a man's selfishness in his youth and putting his woman first. He goes to battle and refuses to see the big picture - a mission beyond his selfish needs and his woman - then when his best friend is killed defending England (mission) leaving a widow and small children, his woman and father help him to become a Red Pilled man with a broader mission than just himself. Pretty cool to read the RP transformation on the platform of the train station after infantry training.

Valour

Pretty much anything by Nevil Shute, a prolific WWII / mid century English author who wrote about secret missions for the broader good of England; and independence and hard work in mid-century Australia, sort of like Ayn Rand but not as boring:

Nevil Shute Books

You can also download most James Bond books there. He's classic mid-century RP, not like the cartoonish character from the movies. He has qualms about killing and success, drinks way too much (secret SCUBA mission to an evil lair? Better have a drink first ...), and doesn't fit into a rapidly declining in Western society that's losing its masculinity (despite two World Wars).

“Bond came to the conclusion that Tilly Masterton was one of those girls whose hormones had got mixed up. He knew the type well and thought they and their male counterparts were a direct consequence of giving votes to women and 'sex equality.' As a result of fifty years of emancipation, feminine qualities were dying out or being transferred to the males. Pansies of both sexes were everywhere, not yet completely homosexual, but confused, not knowing what they were. The result was a herd of unhappy sexual misfits--barren and full of frustrations, the women wanting to dominate and the men to be nannied. He was sorry for them, but he had no time for them.”
― Ian Fleming, Goldfinger

Haven't been on TRP for what feels like years. Its awesome seeing guys I used to read on this forum break off and do their own thing.

Talking about you GLO, Illimitableman, and Rian Stone!

I think there's only so much RP stuff you can do/write about. Eventually you're just rehashing old topics. Even the godfather's Rollo, Roosh, Roissy and Cernovich all hit that. Roosh is into christianity now, Roissy is 80% dissident politics, and Cernovich is a family man who is dabbling in book writing and movie making.

But to the matter at hand:

I loved Jon Frost, IDK what happened to him but his blog ( http://www.thumotic.com/ ) and manosphere aggregator (redpillreview.com) are both still up. Blog isn't being updated though.

LAIDNYC Was also great. Focused primarily on pickup but dabbled into dissident politics. He took down his blog but there are archives floating around.

Bad Billy Pratt ( https://killtoparty.com/ ) is still around, posts occasionally but is mostly dissident politics and pop culture critiques.

One of the best compilation resources is on the RVF. The mining the RVF thread ( https://www.rooshvforum.com/thread-43753.html ) is a compilation of great posts that cover game, culture and other TRP related stuff.

I used to love nexxtlevelup.com (Virgil Kent) and therawness.com (Ricky Raw) but both of those guys were lefties and basically shut down after Trump got elected.

I can't remember the last time I found a new red pill blog that provided genuine and new insights. I will definitely be keeping an eye on this poast.

It's sad that so many pivot into politics. Not that I mind reading about politics but sometimes I want to hear more about sexual dynamics.

It would be interesting to see politics through a sexual lens. Or, sexual dynamics through a political lens.

I'm not a big fan of many modern guys who identify as MGTOW, probably because of men like Richard Proenneke who set the bar high.

Before the first vestigal elements of the internet were built, Pronenneke retired to the deep Alaskan wilderness and built a cabin and furnishings out of local materials, and meticulously documented everything he could using large clunky film camera equipment. He lived there for 30 years, mostly alone and self sufficient, only returning to civilization at age 82 to spend his last years with his brother.

The footage has been made into a documentary and other video content. The raw self-determination of Man vs Nature that plays out in his daily life carries a strong visceral appeal for modern "civilized" men of various walks of life.

Behold, the World's Oldest MGTOW VLOG! Look for link to part II at the end.

The last one I'd like to share with you is just a single sentence:

Your quote doesn't make much sense. What am I missing?

[–]_iisu2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

It means if you're on your path of improvement, what you learn today should feel like a mistake by comparison with what you learn tomorrow.

Pro tip: learn from your own experience, stay out of your comfort zone and don't cling to your gains.

I'l throw this in there....when women got the vote the first thing they voted for en mass was for prohibition.

Thus, organized crime grew in power.

It's that ability to think two or three steps ahead that makes women so dominant in chess. /s

Most suggestions have been posted already.

These aren't exactly Red Pill, but somewhat related.

The Demise of Guys: https://www.amazon.com/Demise-Guys-Boys-Struggling-About-ebook/dp/B00850HTHO

Demise of guys is something I read a long time ago before I even knew about the red pill. It talks about boys failing in school along with fatherless homes. Even makes small mentions of video games and porn. I think it also talks about boys in school as in most teachers are female and the books kids read in school are books girls like. Also a boy getting in trouble for bitting off a pop tart to look like a gun (or I remember this from somewhere else it's been a while).

There is also http://theconditionedmale.com/

Which is my own blog which has some Red Pill related posts. Still a work in progress though and not dedicated to the red pill.

Also note that Phill has made like 3 books similar to the demise of guys. The books are mostly the same.

One book I almost never see mentioned here (or anywhere else, for that matter), is How to Become Free in an Unfree World, by Harry Browne. It was written in 1974 but its principles are timeless still apply today. In short: live a life for yourself before everything else, focus on what you can have a major impact on, and don't fall into one of the many traps society has laid for you to fall in. The author's stance on government can be hit-or-miss at times, but the rest is more than valid. You can find it in PDF form online without too much trouble. Here's a good summary if you're so inclined.

Rejection, Emotion, Pain, Suffering, Wonder.

These are the words that resonated with you when you were experiencing the events that lead up to you joining this community -- the Red Pill.

Confusion about what happened with your relationship. Why did this person do this. Why did they do that. Why didn't she have sex with you. Why did she cheat on you.

And out of those experiences, and the "meta" event lead you to produce questions --> questions that lead to you thinking "how could this happen to me".

Sound familiar?

The idea is, there was a "Matrix" of decisions, emotions, events, feelings, and anything of the sort, that lead to you coming to this place. A "mappable" series of events.

1.00

The "Matrix" of Behaviors that created the outcome

A "Matrix" of a pattern of behaviors at many different levels of perception, that contributed to your significant other, your courtee, your woman or man that you were seeking to bed, wed, or get some head from...

That eventually boiled down to that outcome. The frustration, the agony, the negative outcome.

Consider that as you now know. This could have been prevented.

Behaviors in every single aspect of reality dictate your outcome, your "Matrix" of behaviors. You act to sell a product every day, and utilize highly effective and efficient behaviors each day relative to the outcome you are seeking, eventually that outcome will be produced.

The "Matrix" of behaviors.

And as we do in typical Matrix Math, one can multiply, and expand certain aspects of these behavioral events, to adjust to many different situations.

The introduction this is bringing is this.

Humans are mappable decision makers on the basis of how they act, and what prerequisites that action. With this information, one can do a massive amount of damage, or a massive amount of good.

Societies have been formed off this, Cultures have been destroyed by this (consider Chinese/Russian Social Engineering), and you, you were lead into a series and pattern of behaviors that produce the outcome of eventual frustration... and eventual "on the rocks" type of behavior within your area of existence.

Whether this be with women, other men, or at the "meta" and broad spectrum within "social circles", every single perspective and correlating behavioral set produces a predictable series of behaviors. Behaviors that tend to be heavily associated with the entire way to conceive looking at a game like "chess".

You move the pawn, their perspective shifts, and they view the chess board differently now, and behave as such.

You show up at the club with 3 beautiful women displaying behaviors that they are competing for attention, the social circle at large starts to shift their perspectives relative to this new "positional shift" on the chess board at large, and play to this new occurrence.

It happens, indefinitely.

And this is the idea I bring to you.

Due to this, when you fully understand how this maps out, you will realize that many of the ideas that a few thinkers have created, fall apart.

And humans start to look like what they are, programmable robots -- and I bring this to you all.

I am T&M, and I am here to contribute to the Red Pill community.
