Most women aren't worthy of an LTR and LTRs don't really benefit men anymore. Too easy to get sex without commitment and also women aren't the same quality anymore(they aren't as traditional, their aren't the same boundaries put on their nature like there used to be to make them more loyal to their man and family, cheating is so easy now, attention is so easy to get- all they have to do is login to IG or Snap or Tinder to get dudes hitting them up within minutes, many of them can't or don't cook/clean/take good care of their man, they want to be like men with their careers, etc).

That's not even mentioning the risks(financial reasons, divorce, cheating, etc), lack of freedom and the opportunity cost of what you could be doing if you were single (more time/freedom to yourself, more women, more time for your purpose/business/career, traveling, etc).

Also, lots of maintenance, added drama and emotional energy expenditure.

The benefits are more usual sex(unless you're really macking. But this one flavor of ice cream instead of lots of different pussy), companionship and possibly her doing some things for you.

Weighing the pros and cons, not being in a relationship sounds better(unless you want to start a family and have kids) and is more conducive to your abundance, freedom and growth as a man.

So I agree with you. It takes a really special chick to be deserving of a LTR. Men should take this into account before making the decision to LTR.

I'm going to go a little against the grain on this one.

LTRs are worth maintianing if you have or want kids. Being a single parent is incredibly stressful and draining. Ever tried to date a single mom? It fucking sucks and isn't worth it. Shes always too busy for you and you have to plan everything a week in advance and half the time something comes up and plans get cancelled. You have to be a real cuck of a man to enjoy dating single moms, which is why single moms are always jumping from one shitty guy to the next.

What about single dads? Well, as one myself, I can tell you that if you want to see your kids on any kind of regular basis you're basically losing all your non-work nights and spending tons on lawyers. I'm actually considering going down to every other weekend with my son just to have some time for a social life that doesn't impact my career. All on the hopes his mom doesnt go off the cliff with her drinking again, making it nessisary for me to fight for full custody. Its not fun.

That's about the only reason to maintain an LTR anymore. Otherwise it's only a matter of time before you or her are presented with a better option and either break it off or cheat. It's just not worth the emotional investment.

I'll say what I just said in another thread. The beauty of plating is that you don't have to care what (or who) she's doing. Sure, it will always irritate you when she sleeps around, but it won't be a devastating event. You can still "date" girls and have an emotional connection...just make her a FWB or open type of relationship.

Much like men in the Alpha/Beta dynamic, I think the Pareto principle also applies to women in the relationship market. 80-90% of them are flat out not LTR material. The remainder would make decent partners, although AWALT still applies.

As a young guy, getting into a LTR is absolutely moronic. Most men ultimately want children, though, which is why a LTR becomes necessary at some point in life. Single fatherhood is better than single motherhood for raising kids, but a two-parent household is demonstrably better for a child's development.

You can't go through life taking zero risk, burying all your money under the mattress because you fear losing your investment. The best you can do is live your life in a Red Pill paradigm and make the most informed decision possible for your chosen LTRs.

The reason cheating "statistics" are increasing is two-fold.

Men are becoming more feminized thus less real men existing. Real men are becoming more rarer and harder for a woman to hook as his value is increasing by relativity and thus more women want him. Because of this women essentially begin settling for less once they decide they want a relationship. (And yes, women do want real relationships before they hit the wall. As much as she really wants to just fuck alpha's, women are not retarded. They also don't want STD's and they also don't want to be left alone with a baby.) Women are not taught the same politeness and kindness as they once where. When a woman used to get a beta she might say "You're a nice guy but we must move on" and that be that. Now a days you are a "Bad bitch" and you get brownie points for exploiting guys.

Sum it up short, women are less afraid to exploit and there are more exploitable guys roaming around. Thus the cheating "Stats" increase.

The real story though. If you are a alpha, if you have her around your finger, if your game is on lock, if you're applying dread, if you are the prize. SHE WILL NOT FUCKING CHEAT. She would be retarded to do ANYTHING to risk losing such a valuable guy.

And furthermore, lets say you are the fucking man. But by some miracle she just happens to make a bad decision at a party because she is drunk and some dude layed the game on her and her sense went out of her head. So fucking what. She is cleaning your place. You're getting food cooked whenever the fuck you want. She is doing you all kinds of favors. Get the fuck over it.

There are multitudes of benefits from an LTR. If you are a REAL man the worst that can happen is on a secluded occasion she may by some miracle cheat on you and then the next morning feel guilty as fuck and make you extra delicious food and it won't happen again because she will realize what a dumb hoe she is.

Believe me, I used to think like you and have the same question. Once you get a girl really wrapped around your finger and you know you're the fucking boss that question goes out your window. I'm convinced my girl wouldn't cheat on me. Not because she is a unicorn and incapable of such acts, but because I lay down the fucking law in the relationship.
