Hello men,

I want to share some things I noticed recently to this great community that has helped me immensely .

I'm sure we'll all agree that most boys weren't taught how to be men; for various reasons. Our past generations had some major even occur that forced them to grow so as to survive in their world. It being the war, the depression or the recession.

For our generation (16 - 30 age bracket) we haven't really had any pressing social issues. We have to be awakened to our own accord. We have to learn how to navigate through the world and to mould ourselves to the potential we have.

The most poisonous thing that's been I grained into us is the feeling that we are special. We've been raised since infancy that we are better than others because we understood Grade 4 algebra well. People telling us we're a genius at whatever it is made us think that we don't need to put any effort into achieving anything meaningful. And because of that if we can't master something n the first try we give up straight away. As a community that tries to work on ourselves I want us to shed this specific ego.

We have to understand that we are shit at many things and that's okay. Be turned on by failures and mistakes because we can learn from them. I heard a great man once say " I was a failure till I turned 38 because I had never failed once". Stop believing you're good and start believing you will get better. This will 100% aid you in progression as you will no longer care about the result nor will you attach the outcome to who you are; thus not getting slowed down by negativity.

I hope we all find strength and guidance in this beautiful thing we call life and prosper to our higher purpose.

As always keep it simple stupid
