If she's really pushing for marriage, it's an attempt to show off that she proud to have you, or/and that's her attempt to seek better mate/provider through this Hamstering.

Make sure that she's showing you off and that she's inclusive of you with her peers at the event.

I'm ignoring the pageant thing. Shes pushing for commitment, so if you don't want that just casually continue until she ends it or you end it. In your current position I'd end it after the pageant is over.

These pageants aren't what a lot of people here seem to think they are. It's basically a money racket that under-delivers on "consistent media attention" and "tons of male attention" while over-delivering on milking chicks for every dime they can get out of them. The whole thing is basically an MLM (and in many cases is blatantly an MLM) that thrives thanks to peer pressure among women, which is exactly what you see here.

As an aside, high school cheerleading competitions are set up the same way if anyone wants to do some Googling to see how many "national championships" there are for that shit.

The idea you have that her doing a pageant is her trying to "strong arm you into a bigger commitment" is really weird and paranoid. It's just girls doing girl shit. If your girl is attractive, she gets plenty of male attention as it is.

Who cares if she's pushing for more commitment? If you want that, then do it. If you don't want it, then don't.

It all depends on your goals. Do you want to end up with a LTR? Do you want to just stick to FWB and ONS? You need to know this for yourself before you act going forward. She may be strong-arming you by demonstrating her value, but I feel that it's being done more for validation as other people have said.

Despite other commentators here, and the juvenile 'fuck her pageant friends haha!!!', this is a validation/boundary push. She's essentially padding her bets. I'm guessing you recently had some sort of future talk or had a fight about something and now she's wondering if you're going to wife her or not so she's going out to recruit more orbiters. Don't think there is any coincidence here as to why she's putting herself in the spotlight for male attention, and unfortunately the only move is to dread and play it off like you don't care.
