How did you breakup with your LTR?

So, I always get into LTR's because I hate rotating plates plus I can't trust bitches with contraceptives and if they've got a disease or no, because I wont ever in my life use a condom again.

When I break up with them it's just "listen I've got a lot to deal with in my life and I don't see us together anymore. I'm sorry". Yes, it is apologetic, but who cares, ain't seeing them again.

If you wanna go full psycho and minimize any potential fallout (ie, you realized you're dating a lunatic):

fake a sudden drop in value (claim you're depressed, got fired, being bullied at the gym etc)
lean on her more for emotional support
generally act like a bitchly loser (bonus points for spending time sitting on the couch drinking beer: no need to go overboard, just do it a couple times in a row when she comes to visit)

And boom, you'll be single in less than a fortnight with zero immediate drama - she'll want to move on ASAP, so you also will very likely dodge any 'after the fact' drama.

I drove her out to the coast, moved her into her new place, backpacked along the ocean, spent a last night in a hotel overlooking the Pacific, and got dropped off at the airport to fly home alone.

Of course......she broke up with me, 2.5 years earlier. We knew we'd break up when she got to grad school. It was glorious. No stupid games, we were honest with each other and just drank in each other's presence, knowing that we'd not be in it for the long term.

That's what brought me to TRP.

I never intend on breaking up with another.....MLTR. Nor will I ever be monogamous again. As long as they keep coming back, I'll keep banging them. I'm done with the merry go round. Fuck monogamy right in the ear.

Just do what they do. Tell her you want space and simply never get back together. If she comes back just hit her with the classic "this isn't going to work out. Its not you, its me".

Whatever you do, always breakup with a girl in public. You can avoid many false accusations that way.

Alternatively you can ramp up the beta game, by being clingy, emotional (crying), etc. This will cause her to feel disgusted and sorry resulting in a clean breakup, preferably while you spin plates.

Depends on the situation. If she's a BPD bunny boiler, ghosting and blocking is what I'd go with honestly. You're not interested in honor and courtesy here, you're interested in self preservation and minimizing drama. At most, a message (not a call that gives her chance to try to engage or suck you in again) that says "LTR isn't working for me. I'm ending it. Good luck." Nothing else.

If it's a more normal thing that is just running it's course for whatever reason, especially if LTR will be in your social circle it in the future, then I'd recommend a rip the band aid off, quick cut style thing that is still courteous. Call her or see her and just tell her - again be brief, friendly, but firm - "I don't see things between us going where I want for my life and I don't think it's something that can get better, so I'm ending it. I wish you the best, no hard feelings or anything."

Being with the wrong person in an LTR will prevent you from getting in a LTR with the right person when they come along. So don't be afraid to jump ship when you know it's not going to be what will work for you.

We dated for about 4 months. I was currently looking for a job due to my previous job closing down its office. She had bad anxiety and thought it was epilepsy. We literally would argue every weekend we would get together and it would consist of me driving her around a d her making plans knowing I wasn't even working. Long story short I finally found a job the week of her birthday and took her out that weekend. She complained that she'd been to that restaurant and how dare I take her out after her actual birthday. I literally left her on the street and took the train home. I came back the next morning for my things and to break up and she punched a hole in the wall and started punching me. I got outta there and that was 2 years ago. Always break up with women in person. Also, get out quick once you do.
