Redpill series/fiction books/movies?

Hey guys!

Can someone please recommend some redpill leisure material? I'm sick and tired of media bombarding me with the blue pill message (find a girl and all will be good) through sitcoms, music, and even literature!

There is a quote: "you are what you read" which i'd like to broaden to "you are what you consume", and i think consuming some nice red pill movie on a weekend wouldn't hurt (beats watching how i met your mother, omg)

read my mind, really liked his movies about iwo jima

Remember lads, a gun is the ultimate frame. Use this knowledge with appropriate caution.

[–]HotHead121-1 points0 points  (6 children) | Copy

Or is it

[–]jsphere2563 points4 points  (5 children) | Copy

What did you have in mind, a large sword? Are you King Arthur?

[–]HotHead1210 points1 point  (4 children) | Copy

He who has a strong frame does not need a gun

[–]TelemakosTheDane2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy

How do you think that approach is going to play out during a blackout, with looters and mobs roaming the streets?

[–]GonadGravy3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy

Just tell the murderous band of looting rapists you have a titanium frame, they will quickly disperse.

[–]jsphere2563 points4 points  (1 child) | Copy

I like this idea. Referring specifically to Clint Eastwood, the gun is always implied.

Sons of Anarchy - Jax is 80% of the time red pill.

House of cards - Frank is red pill on the first seasons.

House of Cards ends on S2 finale. They're is no more episodes after it.

[–]CholiMein13 points14 points  (0 children) | Copy

Thank you for confirming. Only watched s1 and s2.

Californication is a decent watch, first couple seasons at least..

[–]blissfullyaware003 points4 points  (7 children) | Copy

Hell ya. Duchovny's DNGAF attitude was spot on in the early seasons.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy

OP's question was not about movies that are relatable. it was for red pill matetial. and Calif is not even close. so blue pill it's hilarious.

[–]GonadGravy0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

It is a great display of hypergamy, and he is a certified dickslinger. There are some blue pill themes to make it accessible to a mainstream audience, but it certainly has it’s merits.

I liked Californication (only watched the first season), but come on. Hank had the biggest One-itis ever. At best, he's a "natural" by show standards. Obviously it's not real life so take it with a grain of salt.

[–]breakfastburrito240 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

I kinda liked the whole series, but yeah some time around the time he becomes a teacher, the show started to wane.

[–]redpilledfox18 points19 points  (2 children) | Copy

Daddy's Home starring Mark Whallberg and Will Ferrel is funny, and somewhat focused on the idea of nice guy vs bad boy.

[–]moltenw5 points6 points  (1 child) | Copy

Are we really considering blue pill films that can show red-pill concepts "red pill fiction" now?

Daddy's home is quite possibly the blue-est film of all time, especially since you're viewing it mostly from Will Farrell's (beta) point of view.

[–]redpilledfox0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

The film wraps up in the bluest way possible, I agree, but that wouldn’t happen in a real life circumstance.

the movie is just for kicks.

Add Peaky Blinders, Band of Brothers to that TV list. Billions is just gulity pleasure even tho they cross the line hard into PC / SJW bullshit.

[–]superbat335 points6 points  (1 child) | Copy

I need to check out Peaky Blinders looks really good.

Billions is very modern. We do live in a PC and SJW world but all 4 of the main cast is extremely red pill.

-Bobby is an alpha, straight up. Rhodes is very politically savvy. Wendy is red pill woman. Wags is living his life like a chad

The analysis is excellent and presents a whole new twist on something that was taken as read. If you can't critically assess, are you any better than those swallowing the blue pill?

[–]TheFlyingPro33 points34 points  (6 children) | Copy

One of each.

A red-pill series: Californication

A red-pill fiction book: Houellebecq - Submission

A red-pill movie: The Matrix

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (0 children) | Copy

Nope on Californication.

Sorry, Californication is not a good example. Hank is sometimes red pill, but he is also often quite blue pill and the script portrays him as being rewarded for his blue pill begging and whining. Not a good reference for learning what actually works in this world.

There are SOME red pill moments, but mostly the male characters are constantly being bossed and harrassed by females who they attempt to placate for their attention. Hank Moody's wife trolls him constantly as does his daughter who usually despises him.

It was a fun watch, I watched all of the seasons. but the only red pill characters are short lived (1 - the rock and roll producer whom Hank befriends, and 2 - Moody's ex wife's husband in the later seasons).

Lmao? He spins plates. Yeah, Grace was a mistake but the show is pretty based otherwise.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy

you have to ask whether a person could really spin plates like that in real life, or, whether the script writers are forcing a story where blue pill actions result in spun plans (a unicorn blue pill fantasy).

What do you RP bros think about 500 days of summer? It teaches you how “love” has been romanticised by people. I love it because it teaches you the harsh reality of relationships, that it is not a happy ending like what mainstream media taught us.

[–]JesterBLB1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

It used to be my favourite movie because my bp mind misinterpreted it. But now I see, it was a great lesson in disguise, except that if people are like my old self, they ain't gonna get it.

Love how the guy gives up his career as an "artist" and focuses on his true calling. That's pretty RP. He recognized that what he had been doing till that point was a sham and keeps feeding his beta-ness.

After (2019) is surprisingly red pill. It's a romantic YA movie from the perspective of the girl. She's a good student with an LTR, away on her first year of college, who meets a dark and mysterious red pilled guy, and she throws away every conviction she has in life so she can justify fucking him. It shows preselection, frame holding, orbiters, etc.

It has a very predictable storyline and not much entertainment value, better to watch it with female company and analyze how they react to its plot points.

I recommend from recent memory The Lonesome Dove Tv series. You will see many red pill concepts at play. Read Louis Lamour books.

[–]Dackel214 points5 points  (4 children) | Copy

Some fiction I recommend:

  • The Philip Marlowe novels by Raymond Chandler

  • The original James Bond series by Ian Fleming

  • Breakfast with the Dirt Cult by Samuel Finlay

[–]Senior EndorsedVasiliyZaitzev7 points8 points  (3 children) | Copy

The Bond films with Sean Connery are a master class in "Amused Mastery".

[–]cdh10036 points7 points  (1 child) | Copy

Which is precisely why modern feminists are determined to destroy the franchise by insisting on a female Bond.

[–]Senior EndorsedVasiliyZaitzev4 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy

Big time.

Evidently they are continuing the novels and now Bond has a nagging shrike of a live-in girlfriend fucking up his life. Ick.

[–]Dackel211 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Most definitely.

What is especially inspiring about Sean Connery to some new adherents to the Red Pill is the knowledge that Connery was taught how to be "alpha" by film director Terence Young. Some on this thread may find this excerpt from this article ( interesting:

"When Connery arrived, far before filming began, Young saw his best opportunity to mold the actor in his own image.  As Lois Maxwell related in one of Connery´s many biographies, “Terence took Sean under his wing.  He took him to dinner, showed him how to walk, how to talk, even how to eat.’  Some cast members remarked that Connery was simply doing a Terence Young impression, but Young and Connery knew they were on the right track.  Then, late in pre-production, when Connery was almost ready to make his debut, Young took Connery on a lunchtime trip into downtown London, to his own tailor on Saville Row.  It was time for Connery to “put on the suit’ as it were.  It was time for Connery to become James Bond.

By the time Connery showed up for his first days filming, Young had changed everything about him.  Connery no longer talked with his hands, one of Young´s most infamous pet peeves.  He still moved perfectly, but Young had coached him on WHEN to move.  Connery was already far from being a hack actor when he came to the series, but Young knew how to make Connery shine, and he did.  Young had taken elements of his own personality and passed them on to Connery.  He had turned Connery into a gentleman, and then he turned that gentleman into James Bond."

The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand.

Howard Roark is the epitome of a RP man.

Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand.

Who is John Gault?

Starship Troopers by Robert A. Heinlein.

Lighter fare but RP all the way.

Editing to add movies:

The Big Sleep, the Maltese Falcon, Casablanca. Humphrey Bogart is another RP example.

I hesitate to add The African Queen because of the way Bogie loses frame toward the end under the constant shit tests of Katherine Hepburn. He is pretty RP up to that point. Maybe it is a cautionary tale.

Ferris Bueller

[–]new__vision9 points10 points  (0 children) | Copy

Yes. People need to realize that trying to look tough and angry all the time doesn't attract quality women and isn't "alpha".

Ferris is a great example of the type of guy who gets the high-quality women in real-life. He provides both leadership and good emotions to women and lifts up those around him like Cam. He creates his own reality that others want to be part of, has solid frame and charisma.

I think you are asking for Alpha entertainment and not necessarily "redpill" material as redpilling fiction usually involves the horror of bluepill behavior.

Three prime examples of this are:

Blue Valentine (2010)

The Last American Virgin (1982)

John Huston's The Dead (1987)

Each one of these stories is about a betamax finishing last. If these movies don't redpill you, nothing will.

The Last American Virgin is RED PILL AS FUCK in terms of showing the truth about being a blue pill SIMP.

Its fine to take some cues and reminders from works of fiction, but in the end, you have to keep in mind that someone made it all up. Its not real life.

People used to come into this sub and justify things based on Game of Thrones episodes. They had a hard time understanding that just because some character's tactic worked on the show, doesn't prove nor disprove anything in the real world.

The best RP stories come from real life.

It is in how he handles the American girls. It also shows how even "good" girls like Vicky will go for Chad - the girls fly away to Oviedo with him on short notice - that you should never let you psycho ex back into your life, like Juan Antonio does with Maria Elena, that there will be a cunty friend ("Judy") who will help girls cheat, that they will betray their husbands on a whim ("Vicky") and not to be a beta SIMP ("Doug", and whatever Judy's husband's name is.)

True Detective Season 1. It's a work of art. I resonate a lot with Rust Cohle (Not as sexy as Matthew McConaughey tho)

[–]JesterBLB1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Season 2 was quite RP. I felt it was also more grounded in reality than season 1. The main characters are quite good. Broken, beaten and flawed. Not really full of RP gems as such but just shows how the world can be for a lone man.

Goodfellas. Band of mafia guys just doing their thing/mission and not looking at the woman and their demands. Fully in their frame. When they give tantrums they call them down by giving a glimpse of Blue pill (in purpose). There is also a scene where his wife Flips and Puts a gun in his face and makes her give up the gun by remaining calm and holding frame. The movie is all around red pill imo

No mention of sci-fi series?

Stargate SG-1 O Neil and Teal’c both exhibit some pretty alpha characteristics and hold frame in difficult situations.

NCIS Gibb’s character is classic red pill.

Star Trek TNG is loaded with alpha characters. Picard especially throughout the series holing frame in front of the crew.

Then there’s always archer. The quips and one liners are great even though they paint him as somewhat of an idiot.
