Set toward the end of the British Empire's rule over India/Burma, the novel follows a British expat struggling with his identity and situation.
While I don't want to give away the punch line, the plot of this novel is driven by the varying Red Pill/Blue Pill actions of the protagonist. Very insightful depiction from the the author of 1984 and Animal Farm.
Thought I'd share for anyone looking for good fiction to read.
