This is somewhat of a paradox I've been struggling with for awhile. On one hand, RP Theory espouses that we, as men, need to be confident, comfortable in our own skin, and have IDGAF attitude, especially when talking to women. We should view ourselves as the prize and be happy with ourselves just the way we are, not needing to change to impress anybody. But on the other hand, we are are supposed to constantly be improving ourselves through lifting, reading, advancing our career, etc. The message that this behavior would imply is that we are NOT ok just as we are, and we must constantly be evolving and transforming ourselves. I'm sure there is a simple answer to this but I'm having trouble figuring it out myself, and would love some guidance here.
