It seems the incentives for men to get married have increasing decreased over time. Women don’t bring much to the table anymore besides sex and men can get sex without marriage.

Why marry a woman who spent her prime sleeping around and now expects you to put a ring on it? I’m not interested in that and I’m not surprised other men aren’t either.

It’s better to strive to be alpha but if you can’t be alpha, for fuck’s sake, don’t be beta bux.

The important lesson to take away here is that people do what they are incentivized to do.

Women were incentivized (by feminism and the loosening of sexual mores) to indulge their animal instincts, rather than to develop strategies for securing happiness and companionship later in life.

The older generations of women were disincentivized from advising women about the truth of sexual dynamics. Self-indulgence and a general lack of wisdom about the consequences of sleeping around became the norm.

Men were incentivized to shift the focus of their efforts towards actively thwarting the agendas of women, for the sake of fulfilling their own agendas.

If you wish to understand the internal social dynamic of any group - whether that's a local bowling team, a corporate office, or an entire nation - you must examine the incentives and constraints that affect the decisions of those people in that group at that scale. Then, you can predict the moves that people will make.

I've been reading a lot of older English literature lately - 1800s and early 1900s up to WWII - and it's curious to see that back then people "fell in love" and got married in about a week, maybe a couple of weeks. And then for the most part committed to it (I know they're just stories ...)

A lot of them were also "arranged" in that the male's *or* female's social status was a definite factor. "Does he have a title" sort of thing.

I'm not sure things have changed much in terms of female expectations - a nobility title versus income and job status. It almost sounds like after 500 years, men are finally wising up to the game.

Yup women have little to no concept on reality or economics, more news at 8. Women actually START caring about money when they start approaching the wall and until then it’s just a number. Most of the time their narrow world view in college and high school is based on the scope of their Instagram accounts. They have to learn to adapt once their SMV shows signs of tanking.

The lesson for young men is never commit, be the bad boy they cheat on their boyfriends with. Stack cash and date young. Life goes by too fast.

Feminism destroyed the institution of marriage. That study confirms what many of us, who are aware of TRP already know... Females are obsessed with hypergamy. There is thankfully a solution, we must all stand up to it. Build ourselves as men, strengthen our physical bodies, enrich our minds, maintain traditional standards of manhood etc. Do not marry/reward any female who displays this sort of conduct. Look for truly, exceptional and well raised feminine women to be with. Our society is screwed but we should all make the most of it.

What percentage of unmarried men are incels that women want nothing to do with? What percentage are "woke male feminists" who are respectful to women and are waiting their turn to betabux? What percentage are too afraid to interact with women and cope alone in their apartments? What percentage feel their penis is too small to make themselves vulnerable to rejection for even trying at a relationship?

The reality is that Western culture has expressed enormous hostility to the average male for at least the last 20 years, and the effects of that hostility shape the minds of young boys exposed to it, not surprisingly in negative ways.
