Test is cheaper than any “booster”, what are you talking about?

Your best bet is optimizing your nutrition, vitamins, minerals n shit. Test boosters are horseshit.

[–]boywonder2005 points6 points  (5 children) | Copy

This, Test is dirt cheap. We're talking $55 to get you above supraphysiological levels for 3+ months at a time.

[–]krunchtimer1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy

Agreed. After doing one's homework on how Test works, it then becomes a matter of finding a good source and becoming familiar with bitcoin to buy it. (I've done several long Test-only cycles myself)

[–]Kabuki4310 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Make it $18 per 10ml vail if you know right source. Pharma grade

[–]somejerseydude[S] -2 points-1 points  (1 child) | Copy

My source is almost double that, unless you have a reputable online source?

Dm me if so

[–]LBEB800 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Make it yourself for much cheaper.

[–]somejerseydude[S] 5 points6 points  (19 children) | Copy

I was talking more along the lines of Tribulus, ZMA, more “natural remedies”

[–]flying-backflip43 points44 points  (8 children) | Copy

I completely agree with the previous posters. Test boosters are just marketing trash. In fact, most of the "fitness" supplement industry is snake-oil level. Lifting regularly and eating clean and healthy, with plenty of protein (meat based or not) is the best natural way to increase testosterone. I take a regular round of multivitamin, minerals and phytonutrient supplements daily for overall health. This covers all the bases that the body needs. That would be my suggestion. Find a reliable, naturally sourced multivitamin/mineral brand and take them religiously in addition to clean eating and lifting. You may have to dig through the mainstream trash brands to find the gems.

In addition, the only way you're going to know if you're increasing testosterone is to get yourself tested before you change your habits, then after 3-4 weeks of a perfect routine, get tested again to see the results, if any.

[–]beginner_15 points16 points  (5 children) | Copy

Vitamin supplements are just as much snake-oil as other supplements if you eat right. The only supplement that makes sense is Vitamin D.

And for fitness / lifting creatine (but really even here the effect is small and if you are not a pro, irrelevant)

[–]PandaLitter5 points6 points  (0 children) | Copy

Yeah but if your diet doesn't vary that much from eating the same thighs day to day, a multi should cover the bases

[–]Helmet_Icicle2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

Vitamins aren't deceptive. There is slight debate over whether they're actually universally helpful, but they deliver exactly what it says on the label.

[–]cafeitalia3 points4 points  (1 child) | Copy

Go out and stay under the sun even partial, for 15 minutes a day and you still well be fine with vitamin d

[–]BurnoTaurus4 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy

you must live close to the equator

[–]1Scriptopeia0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

My doctor refuses to check my testosterone levels.

[–]flying-backflip0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

You may have to pay privately to get it tested.

[–]isthisalreadyused3 points4 points  (2 children) | Copy

Tribulus doesn't boost test, and doesn't help put on muscle. It does however, make me feel great. Like top of the world.

If you want muscle, go with AAS. AAS is pretty cheap how can you not afford it?

[–]somejerseydude[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

My source is black market and is $150 for a 10 week cycle, and my gym membership ($175) just withdrew from my acct this week

[–]isthisalreadyused-1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy

$150 is nothing, and less than you'd pay for those natural test "boosters"

[–]beginner_2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy

ZMA AFAIK only works if you have a zinc deficiency which in the West is very unlikely.

[–]Mescalean1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

All that shit did was help me sleep a lil bit better.

Having done a cycle of prohormones when those fuckers were around (epistain) and it was night and day.

My dumbass learned what placebo effect was real quick.

OP should just man up and stick the needle in his ass. Or find a good sports medicine dr that takes your insurance. Live in a wealthyish area and everyone and their mother us on t replacement therapy. So sexy.

[–]sdrakedrake1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

I was talking more along the lines of Tribulus, ZMA, more “natural remedies”

I use tribulus and L Arginine. Neither does what you think they do.

All they do for me is give me a little more energy and sometimes give me stronger erections.

They don't make me stronger or anything like that. But with the extra energy i "feel" stronger and sometimes I can get more reps in.

I say sometimes because it doesn't happen every single time. I avoid taking them every day so i spread it apart.

I'm 29 if that means anything.

Everyone else who commented are right. I played college football and ran track, most of the crap you see at gnc is crap.

Just eat right and you'll be fine. The stuff that you are really looking for isn't over the counter

[–]Sylvester_Sterone1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Doesn’t work

[–]CosbySauce 1 points [recovered]  (2 children) | Copy

Use clomid

[–]6sterile60 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

Ashwaganda just made me tired

[–]RedHoodhandles27 points28 points  (0 children) | Copy

Sleep.

[–][deleted] 36 points37 points  (3 children) | Copy

[–]thrwy7547922 points23 points  (3 children) | Copy

No idea about testosterone boosting. Some anecdotal results:

  • Zinc, or ZMA, increases semen volume
  • L-Arginine might increase libido slightly; increases semen volume

[–]Protocol_Apollo2 points3 points  (2 children) | Copy

If you are going to recommend amino acids, l-citruline is better than arginine.

[–]ahackercalled4chan0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

thanks for that. i've been looking for an alternative to arginine. stuff gives me wicked rotten egg farts.

[–]Protocol_Apollo1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Citruline mallate could be a solution but do your research on it and look it up on yt.

[–]infamous323824 points25 points  (0 children) | Copy

You say you can’t afford a cycle but you want to waste money on bullshit supplements that barely boost test? Save your money.

[–]ComfyBiscotti13 points14 points  (0 children) | Copy

test boosters are placebo and dont work. if they did, they would publish actual blood tests showing 400ng/dl before... and 3,000ng/dl after... they dont cuz it doesnt work.

a 2% technical increase wont do shit

[–]koppok11 points12 points  (1 child) | Copy

Squats and steak. :)

[–]dani0982 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

Oh is that all?

[–]MKR636 points7 points  (0 children) | Copy

Don’t eat soy.

[–]LiteraIIyJesus12 points13 points  (0 children) | Copy

Here's the thing. You're looking for something mild, like a supplement or extract, that can somehow stimulate or allow your body to produce more testosterone.

Unless you have nutritional or cardiovascular deficiencies (in which case I would look into Zinc, Magnesium, or Vitamin D, as well as engaging in weightlifting and cardio), these "natural" options won't do much for you.

Nost herbs or extracts recommended for this e.g. horny goat weed, saw palmetto, maca root etc. won't have a direct impact on your testosterone levels either, perhaps increased libido but only that.

If you want to make sure your testosterone levels are healthy, address these possible deficiencies in diet and lifestyle.

Also, sleep during healthy, nighttime hours, and make sure to get the full 8 hrs or more.

Anything beyond that, talk to your doctor about getting on TRT.

[–]LLL3peat5 points6 points  (0 children) | Copy

You want libido or muscle ? Zma helps you sleep but does nothing unless you have a deficiency of zinc and magnasium. I take it nightly to help sleep.

Tribulus says it works but it just gave me anxiety.

Get a test cycle. Otherwise quit playing with your dick, lift heavy, eat enough to grow/recomp, and get sleep.

[–]rubydachurro15 points16 points  (2 children) | Copy

Probably anything with horny goat weed in it

[–]moltenw0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Doesn't it include phytoestrogens?

[–]PandaLitter0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Isn't that the same thing as taking viagra

[–]JaYogi8 points9 points  (0 children) | Copy

Ashwaganda, fenugreek, d aspartic acid.

[–]RedPillAlphaBigCock2 points3 points  (5 children) | Copy

FUCK Test boosters - pure bullshit

Sleep 9 hours, steak and white rice, eggs, Lots of D3 and some ZMA

And Lift but make sure you are recovering harder than you are lifting

[–]PandaLitter0 points1 point  (4 children) | Copy

What's special about white rice

[–]RedPillAlphaBigCock0 points1 point  (3 children) | Copy

It's digestive properties. If you eat white rice and steak / fish, you feel amazing energy wise. You can look up Stan Efferding and see how he reccomends it - he has great info on d3 aswell

[–]PandaLitter0 points1 point  (2 children) | Copy

What makes white rice superior to other grains though

[–]RedPillAlphaBigCock0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

I eat oatmeal and potatoes / sweet potatoes and some bread as my other carb sources.

However white rice is the only one that I could eat at every meal and still feel great - in large quantities it still digests amazingly.

It's not a super food it simply digests easily - that's it

[–]PandaLitter0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Isn't white rice poor on the glycemic index scale since it spikes your blood sugar more than the same amount of other more complex carbs

[–]mightyman1015 points6 points  (6 children) | Copy

Boron.

[–]MGTOWAlfa2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

Good looking on the Boron tip. Did some research, looks like I'll be buying

[–]laurcrv0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

I don't feel it does much for me

[–]mightyman1011 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

I’ve been taking it a month. Definitely feel it

[–]isl4m_alderson-1 points0 points  (2 children) | Copy

Any reliable source to buy it? I'm new to online shopping so I'm being careful.

Thanks in advance.

[–]syn1us0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Amazon

[–]TheDopestPope0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

[–]new__vision3 points4 points  (1 child) | Copy

Read Master Your T by Christopher Walker. From that book:

A study from Naghii et al. (150) showed that 10mg/day of boron for a week, was able to increase free testosterone levels by 28%, reduce estrogen levels by 39% and boost DHT by 10%.

Another study from Mjilkovich et al. (151) showed similar results with 12mg/day boron for 2-months, free-T increased by 29% and the adrenal androgen DHEA shot up by 56%, unfortunately DHT or 5- alpha levels weren’t examined in this study.

Bottom line: Boron is relatively cheap and if it works as well as in the studies above, then why not.

[–]EvelynnSpoiler1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Boron increases the volume of my balls

[–]yoursislovesme1 point2 points  (2 children) | Copy

Natural herbs can give you a big push in T-levels only problem is your body can start to develop a tolerance, what i find really helpful is rotating the herbs and sort of "cycling" between them

[–]smirk_addict1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy

Thank you. Not my post but I may do that. I have Ashwagandha, Tribulus, Ginseng, and a few others. I never considered that but it seems smart. It cannot be good taking all of those months at a time every day. And after a while sometimes that kick I get in the gym and bedroom wanes.

[–]yoursislovesme0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

No problem

I know a bunch of men with low testosterone who used herbs to restart thier HPTA and actually got thier T-levels to the high normal range which is amazing

Herbs can be very powerful if you use them correctly and avoid developing tolerance, you can rotate 7 herbs for example and use each herb once a week and you will be surprised with the results you will get.

[–]Haytch12341 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Most are shit and dont work . But there are studies proving Bulbine natalensis works. It has androgenic properties. Read up on it.

Also for future references if you want supplement info check out examine.com

[–]W_O_M_B_A_T1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

What's your current T Level?

Haven't gotten tested, eh?

If so you're really putting the cart in front of the horse here, brother.

[–]grasdaggel991 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

The only test boosters that work require a prescription or are illegal if you don't have one. No such thing as legal test boosters that work.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy

TongKat ali works like charm

[–]ogkushinjapan1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

That’s more for better blood flow for better erections tho

[–]BusterVadge3 points4 points  (2 children) | Copy

I've tried them all. As an older guy the only thing that's worked for me is cutting ALL sugar and hitting my macros while lifting. All the other stuff is snake oil BS. In a few years I'm planning on TRT.

[–]petergriffin26600 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

Pure pomegranate juice bro. Had really good results with it so far

[–]jeff_vii1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

There's no scientific proof into any 'natural' test boosters.

You have three options.

Natty boosters : useless, won't boost testosterone to anyone who already has a good diet

HCG / Clomid : can provide a small boost but mainly boosts fertility

Testosterone : The obvious choice

Additionally : prohormones/ peptides both essentially oral steroids and will require PCT the same as testosterone.

Either decide on natty or go on testosterone, test boosters aren't worth it

[–]rpleo0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Any effective reviews from ZMA?

[–]goathunter050 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Boosters don't work. Train 100% Eat 100%

[–]blahblah47470 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

Androgel if you can get a PCP to prescribe. Stuff got me all feeling great 10 years ago!

[–]isthisalreadyused1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Injections of something like Test Cyp are way cheaper, and probably more effective. If you have kids or a wife transfer is a risk too

[–]WolfofAllStreetz0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Test Cyp.

[–]DonJuan_690 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Do SARMS!!!

[–]DANYboy520 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Raw meat. I'm not kidding

[–]rpgedgar0 points1 point  (2 children) | Copy

Fasting. I intermittent fast, and will do a longer 3-5 day fast twice a year. The body of evidence points to your body being better able to assimilate nutrients during your feeding time, and recover better during your rest time. Growth hormone seems to spike as well, and the idea is to time your workouts to get the most out of it.

I'm a 36 year old male, and my lab results during my last fast showed such high T that my doctor asked if I was on supplements. I'm going back in this week to re-test.

[–]6sterile60 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

From all studies and everything I’ve read IF and fasting decreases test slightly. I still intermittent fast every other day though for 18-24 hrs

Also anything low insulin(like intermittent fasting and keto) will give high shgb which causes free test to drop(the test that matters total t doesn’t really matter)

I’ve heard shit like boron could counter this by dropping shgb but idk it’s very complex

[–]rpgedgar0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Right, I have heard the same thing about T levels dropping, but also HGH levels increasing. Overall, it's been effective for me in terms of being able to gain more muscle mass even at age 36, and like anything else, a person needs to try it for a while to see if it'll work for them.

[–]1kick60 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Heavy Squats and intermittent fasting. Rich Froning talked about doing IF for the last year, and his test levels doubled...and that’s a dude who eats perfect and trains 3-a-days basically all year.

[–]casemodz0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Go outside, work out, eat healthy, keep hair cut and styled, shave or groom facial hair properly, wear decent clothes, clean room, clean car...

Make your life and and appearance model.

[–]zero0x0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

They don't work. If anyone has link to research, can share results.

[–]ppanthero0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Testosterone Enanthate

[–]eagerlearner7320 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Ashwagandha

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

D aspartic acid worked miracles for me. Doing research it has very mixed reviews but for me it's really good.

[–]thedonuts3520 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

D-aspartic acid... works for a couple weeks.

[–]TheWalkingNightmare0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

I had seen a research video that said testosterone injected actually gets converted into more oestrogen over time.

[–]isthisalreadyused-1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy

That sounds wrong.

Be careful about these youtube videos , mostly spout misinformation.

Testosterone is well studied, see if you can find any peer-reviewed papers that claim this

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points  (4 children) | Copy

SARMs work.

[–]isthisalreadyused-1 points0 points  (3 children) | Copy

If you're going to need PCT anyway, why not just run real steroids?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (2 children) | Copy

Sarms are legal and you don't need a pct. Your test bounces back after 6 weeks.

[–]isthisalreadyused0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

They work like 10% as well as AAS, if that. And some people need PCT from them. I wouldn’t bother, and who cares about the legality. I’ll use whatever I want, and no clueless government official is going to stop me

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Agreed they're no where near as effective. I prefer to stay within the bounds of the law but we all make our own choices.

[–]Greek-God-Brody-1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy

Search on Google for 'haidut testosterone'. This is a guy who took his T levels over to 1500 ng/dL with high-dose supplements (Taurine, Zinc, Aspirin, Vitamin E..)

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
