I completely agree with the previous posters. Test boosters are just marketing trash. In fact, most of the "fitness" supplement industry is snake-oil level. Lifting regularly and eating clean and healthy, with plenty of protein (meat based or not) is the best natural way to increase testosterone. I take a regular round of multivitamin, minerals and phytonutrient supplements daily for overall health. This covers all the bases that the body needs. That would be my suggestion. Find a reliable, naturally sourced multivitamin/mineral brand and take them religiously in addition to clean eating and lifting. You may have to dig through the mainstream trash brands to find the gems.

In addition, the only way you're going to know if you're increasing testosterone is to get yourself tested before you change your habits, then after 3-4 weeks of a perfect routine, get tested again to see the results, if any.

Vitamin supplements are just as much snake-oil as other supplements if you eat right. The only supplement that makes sense is Vitamin D.

And for fitness / lifting creatine (but really even here the effect is small and if you are not a pro, irrelevant)

Tribulus doesn't boost test, and doesn't help put on muscle. It does however, make me feel great. Like top of the world.

If you want muscle, go with AAS. AAS is pretty cheap how can you not afford it?

I use tribulus and L Arginine. Neither does what you think they do.

All they do for me is give me a little more energy and sometimes give me stronger erections.

They don't make me stronger or anything like that. But with the extra energy i "feel" stronger and sometimes I can get more reps in.

I say sometimes because it doesn't happen every single time. I avoid taking them every day so i spread it apart.

I'm 29 if that means anything.

Everyone else who commented are right. I played college football and ran track, most of the crap you see at gnc is crap.

Just eat right and you'll be fine. The stuff that you are really looking for isn't over the counter

  • Zinc, or ZMA, increases semen volume
  • L-Arginine might increase libido slightly; increases semen volume

Here's the thing. You're looking for something mild, like a supplement or extract, that can somehow stimulate or allow your body to produce more testosterone.

Unless you have nutritional or cardiovascular deficiencies (in which case I would look into Zinc, Magnesium, or Vitamin D, as well as engaging in weightlifting and cardio), these "natural" options won't do much for you.

Nost herbs or extracts recommended for this e.g. horny goat weed, saw palmetto, maca root etc. won't have a direct impact on your testosterone levels either, perhaps increased libido but only that.

If you want to make sure your testosterone levels are healthy, address these possible deficiencies in diet and lifestyle.

Also, sleep during healthy, nighttime hours, and make sure to get the full 8 hrs or more.

Anything beyond that, talk to your doctor about getting on TRT.

Tribulus says it works but it just gave me anxiety.

I eat oatmeal and potatoes / sweet potatoes and some bread as my other carb sources.

However white rice is the only one that I could eat at every meal and still feel great - in large quantities it still digests amazingly.

Read Master Your T by Christopher Walker. From that book:

A study from Naghii et al. (150) showed that 10mg/day of boron for a week, was able to increase free testosterone levels by 28%, reduce estrogen levels by 39% and boost DHT by 10%.

Another study from Mjilkovich et al. (151) showed similar results with 12mg/day boron for 2-months, free-T increased by 29% and the adrenal androgen DHEA shot up by 56%, unfortunately DHT or 5- alpha levels weren’t examined in this study.

Bottom line: Boron is relatively cheap and if it works as well as in the studies above, then why not.

Natural herbs can give you a big push in T-levels only problem is your body can start to develop a tolerance, what i find really helpful is rotating the herbs and sort of "cycling" between them

Thank you. Not my post but I may do that. I have Ashwagandha, Tribulus, Ginseng, and a few others. I never considered that but it seems smart. It cannot be good taking all of those months at a time every day. And after a while sometimes that kick I get in the gym and bedroom wanes.

Herbs can be very powerful if you use them correctly and avoid developing tolerance, you can rotate 7 herbs for example and use each herb once a week and you will be surprised with the results you will get.

There's no scientific proof into any 'natural' test boosters.

You have three options.

Natty boosters : useless, won't boost testosterone to anyone who already has a good diet

HCG / Clomid : can provide a small boost but mainly boosts fertility

Testosterone : The obvious choice

Additionally : prohormones/ peptides both essentially oral steroids and will require PCT the same as testosterone.

Either decide on natty or go on testosterone, test boosters aren't worth it

Fasting. I intermittent fast, and will do a longer 3-5 day fast twice a year. The body of evidence points to your body being better able to assimilate nutrients during your feeding time, and recover better during your rest time. Growth hormone seems to spike as well, and the idea is to time your workouts to get the most out of it.

I'm a 36 year old male, and my lab results during my last fast showed such high T that my doctor asked if I was on supplements. I'm going back in this week to re-test.

From all studies and everything I’ve read IF and fasting decreases test slightly. I still intermittent fast every other day though for 18-24 hrs

Also anything low insulin(like intermittent fasting and keto) will give high shgb which causes free test to drop(the test that matters total t doesn’t really matter)

Right, I have heard the same thing about T levels dropping, but also HGH levels increasing. Overall, it's been effective for me in terms of being able to gain more muscle mass even at age 36, and like anything else, a person needs to try it for a while to see if it'll work for them.

Search on Google for 'haidut testosterone'. This is a guy who took his T levels over to 1500 ng/dL with high-dose supplements (Taurine, Zinc, Aspirin, Vitamin E..)
