It seems like half the fear in the manosphere is the idea that they’ll somehow be stuck in a relationship- they fear all manner of repercussions for trying to leave like divorce rape or “public shaming”; as though breaking up will also cost them their jobs and their reputations and their livelihood. They fear getting stuck paying for babies they don’t want, they fear being financially stuck being beta providers forever, they fear getting stuck in a lifetime of deadbedrooms....

Except nearly all of these things can be avoided by 1.) not dating women who expect to be paid for 2.) using a condom and 3.) not marrying immediately and 4.) breaking up with people that don’t pull their weight in a relationship.

None of these things even contradict the RP perspective.

Are these dudes just lacking in self control, so they’re incapable of walking away? Or is this fear just an excuse to not take risks and approach women at all? Why do so few dudes around here forget that as long as they aren’t impregnating anyone or getting married, they can leave if they aren’t satisfied?
