But we spent most of senior year together. We both had cars because we lived in BFE New England. He's a working composer and musician now and is married. He pinged my sister on Facebook just a few days ago, actually, to pass on condolences for our father's death last year.

High/low SMV: All of them were having sex with others and so was I so I guess all of us were high-ish?
Popular/unpopular: Dutch schools don't really have a popularity hierarchy like that, at least mine didn't.
Jock/skater/musician/weed dealer/math genius/chess club/Lvl 65 Paladin: 2/3 did something with skateboaards, 3/3 did something with music; 3/3 had good marks for maths.

I lost it to my first real highschool boyfriend at 17. We waited a year and his parents were out of town. He grilled steak, lit candles, and laid rose petals everywhere. It was the best way to lose it. He was 5’5 and decently attractive. Solidly middle class with a car going to community college (he was 18). I was exceptionally anxious to lose it and had no romanticized ideas of it going perfectly. It was more something I wanted to get over with. I had a friend who went to a different school who I spent a good amount of time with who was attractive, kind, relaxed, and more experienced than me. I can't remember the details of the conversation but I'm pretty sure I just straight up asked him and he said yes. We didn't ever actually date and I didn't want to. The experience was comfortable and anticlimactic, exactly what I wanted. I was 16, he was 17 or 18. We were at his brother's apartment, where we often went to watch movies or have a few beers. I dont remember if he had a car. We both came from poor families but had jobs ourselves. Probably more of a jock than anything else. Not a meathead but I remember he was a pretty accomplished lacrosse player. He also played the guitar and drums.

I wouldn't describe him as especially "high status". I'm not sure how popular he was at his high school because I didnt go there, but he was a generally attractive and likeable dude. Very sweet and funny.

He came out as gay a few years later which made a lot of sense to me. Haven't seen or spoken to him in.about 20 years

About the same as mine at the time, which was probably about a 6 or 7 if you believe in such things. We were both seniors in high school who had been dating for about six months. Were both virgins. Of course we thought each other was attractive but I wouldn't say either of us were gorgeous people.
He was relatively popular with his classmates but not Mr. Popular -- he went to an all boy's catholic school (met through a poetry reading I ran at a coffee house) and was poorer than most of his classmates but was well-liked and was invited to classmates parties regularly. I was cool within my group and was voted Most Likely to be Remembered for senior superlatives so I guess I was popular, if weird.
He was just a normal guy; school activity was school newspaper. Somewhat athletic but not into sports. I was a goth who also sort of counted as a jock since I was on a travel swim team, but I wasn't on a high school sports team.
Both of us had drivers licences. He could borrow his mom's car; I had a used car.

•not sure on SMV because he had a lot of girlfriends but they all seemed to be embarrassed to be with him even though they were all the ones to approach him. I also was the one to approach first. His SMV has definitely gone up by A LOT since we started dating, but we also kinda grew alongside so that’s probably its own separate thing.
