There is a post that will probably sooner or later hit the front page if it doesn't get deleted. It's about a woman who aknowledges that she is treating her husband unfairly over shit he did wrong.

One reply got my attention. It got gold in the meantime.

This whole thread just seems really off to me. Does anyone else feel the same way? I had to double check that this is Two X. I can't quite pin down why.

The post feels like something I'd read in a chain email (fwd: fwd FWD) and the responses feel (at this time) mostly male. Maybe I'm just imagining it?

A woman accepting that she did something wrong to her is so "really off", that it can't be true. Which itself is the proof of what OP was trying to say.

Some more replies to that comment:

It's become so obvious. How anyone can read this and believe it was written in earnest by a woman who had this revelation speaks volumes about what this sub has become since being defaulted. How come posts like this get so many upvotes, while if you go into the new queue you notice everything else is downvoted? It's not just a coincidence.

  • It's very fishy. It's a story wherein the woman is "the villain" and the husband is the victim. So it's very unlikely that it is a genuine twox submission.

I actually believe that it really is possible that a man wrote this. Which makes it even more sad. But if not, it took her 12 years to come to this point, which is rare at all.

Never expect a woman to accept her guilt. That won't happen, ever.
