Yeah, this was definitely written by a man. I'd go so far as to say it was written by him in hopes that his wife would read it.

It's really sad how easily men fall into the trap where they're scared to say anything negative to their wives.

Just this past week, I've seen the "guess I'm sleeping on the couch tonight" at least three times. I read the comments in hopes of seeing something like, "guys, never leave your bed for the couch 'cause she's pissed at you, she will lose respect for you no matter what she's mad about" but it's never there.

Whether a man or woman wrote this doesn't matter. We've seen this story a thousand times before and the answer is always the same: it is the man's fault, and I'm not kidding here. It's not his fault that he got the wrong hamburger meat or didn't tell her about the broken glass or any of that. It's his fault that he doesn't manage his wife's anger.

If you let a woman treat you like shit she will treat you like shit and you only have yourself to blame. If you gave your child everything he wanted every single time he threw a temper tantrum, it would be your fault that he throws temper tantrums.

The very first time a woman treats you like shit in the smallest way--and she will no matter who she is--you need to throw it back in her face and tell her in one way or another to shut the fuck up. My ex admitted she treated me unfairly during the breakup:

TL;DR of my breakup: fell in love in college. Started going out. Went full beta on her. She lost interest. Recent fight was that she thinks I should be doing more choirs [insert reason here]. In response I do exactly that. That dries up her pussy like never before. She tells me later now that we are broke up that I'm a good guy, but for some reason she lost her love towards me and that she treated me unfairly with choirs etc.

My ex said similar things to me after we were done with the breakup.

We had to meet up to divide up final bills and she just cut short of actually saying sorry for all this shit she did. She at least recognized it. I let her talk, agreed that those were the reasons I broke it off. If she actually apologized, maybe she could have kept some dignity. But she couldn't quite bring herself to do it. Instead she retaliated, covered her tracks, and said shit about me instead.

If this was written by a woman, maybe she's realized that though she bitches her man out constantly, he's rapidly getting to that point where he doesn't give a shit anymore and she senses it. The power of the bitching out is diminishing rapidly! This post, if real, isn't written from the perspective of how this woman feels bad about bitching her husband out. She's really saying, "the bitch-outs are ineffective, I think my control is slipping. How do I regain this back? Is a little sensitivity the route to making the bitch-out work again?"

I gotta say the tone and language used does sound like it's a man writing what he wishes his wife was thinking. It's not the subject, it's stuff like:

The whole post is so completely 3rd person language trying to pretend it's first person.

I've seen a particular girl on my facebook feed shoot down a "you're a woman so you're right and the man is wrong" post someone else put on her wall (in other words she was like "that's stupid, how would he know what I want if I work to keep it from him"). It does happen sometimes.

But the wording in that post sounds neither like feminine language, nor like it's actually being written by the person actually experiencing it. It's not 100% impossible it's a woman, but I find it very very unlikely.
