She wants good genes and the idea that a man can learn to imitate good genes is frightening to her.

Strangely women don't seem to hold this view in regards to their own grooming and presentation, but apparent hypocrisy has never stood in anyone's way before.

Its only taboo when the discussion is about pushing up against or past woman's boundaries.

When the advice given is about respecting boundaries ("If she is wearing headphones, don't bother her",) it is not condemned.

However advice given in the trp/manosphere is often coming at it from the opposite direction, i.e the discussion is about pushing towards boundaries rather than away.

Since the bad experiences women have had are from men who did not respect their boundaries, the advice is seen as promoting behavior that will cause more negative experiences for women. Also since the discussion is absent the in the moment context its easy for either side to imagine a positive negative context. Ex, from the trp side something like LMR may be a context where the woman is looking for an excuse to sleep with you, while someone against may view it as the woman's "No" not being respected.

The biggest reason to me seems to be that when men discuss how to approach women, there often seems to be the idea that you can "make" a woman like you. Many men seem to think that if they only push the right buttons hard enough, a woman will like them. This is inherently predatory, because it completely ignores women's agency, and is manipulative AF.

Advice geared towards women on the other hand is usually something like "just go there and ask him, and if he rejects you that's his loss for rejecting such an awesome girl like you". This advice makes it very clear that the man has agency, that his rejection is to be taken seriously, and that you should move on instead of "fighting" for someone who doesn't even want to be with you.

On the other hand, many men discussing this topic seem to have this idea that approaching random women on the street or in a club is a viable way to get a date. This implies that basically any woman will do, as it is very unlikely that you will have anything in common with the women who just happen to buy groceries at the same supermarket as you do. Advice geared towards women is more something like "so, there's this cute guy in my sports club/literature class, how do I ask him out?", implying that this woman already has something in common with him, and she sees him as a person instead of a grey lumpy mass of people who are all not that different.

I'm not sure, honestly. Women just love endlessly complaining that there are not enough good men out there in western society, so you'd think that they'd be more welcoming of such ideas. But their usual explanation is that they don't like the nastyness that comes along with such teachings. Whatever the case may be, women definitely at least on a subconscious level wish that more men would adhere to what they want. Some even think they're oppressed because not enough qualifying men exist anymore.

Because the very first thing that is taught is how women's altruistic qualities are a lie perpetuated by media for entertainment and by women because they dont actually know what they want.

Nobody likes it when a light is shined on some of their darker motivations and behaviors, especially when they try so hard to put on a good image.

It highlights the modern womans shitty personality, sluttiness, and general selfish behavior. It teaches you how to defend yourself from it and even how to use it.

Finally, when one is aware of the game and how its actually played....that takes away the womans advantage. They really have zero power in the game when you're aware of the methods they employ. Their pussy magic evaporates and they reaaaallly dont like that because it's all most of them have. God forbid they should have to grow as a person!

On top of all this, in the current political environment, anything that even remotely criticizes women is sexist.
