Actions are definitely the best argument smasher, as it's real life and not some theory you concocted in your head; however, people claim shit all the time, you don't have to go out an reinvent the wheel each time someone attacks your world view - meaning if your naive friend claims women aren't hypergamous sluts, you laugh at him directly or in your head, and focus on your own thing. Unless you derive an insane amount of pleasure proving people wrong and yourself correct, what does it matter if this guy makes an obviously false claim and won't listen to your counterclaim? What, if anything, does proving him wrong have to do with enjoying a fuck spree? You should fuck for the joy of fucking hot women, why let a mangina's opinion motivate or have any say on your experience?
