It’s actually incredible to me people can’t understand women aren’t being paid less for performing the same work. They’re being paid less across the entire employment spectrum because they typically choose lower-paying careers (teachers for instance).
I was in a diversity training at my company last month and someone brought up the wage gap — then 10 mins later during a private conversation I was having on the side I learned one of my peers was hired for more money than me to perform the same level of work (she’s a woman) and she was also promoted WHILE ON MATERNITY LEAVE.
I was laid off last week. Lol

And I'm being downvoted rn on r/samplesize for daring to contradict the feminist narrative that it's not about equality and the wage gap doesn't exist

There is no wage gap, there’s an earnings gap.

True but those people go with feelings over facts

Men are expected to work when women don't want to work for whatever reason it may be, they take more sick days, longer break times and usually ask for more days off than they are legally allowed and the employer usually gives it to them, expecting the men to pick up the slack which we do like good boys.
Men are expected to work no matter what personal, physical or mental problems they are going through and laughed at and called weak for complaining and risk loosing their job and position if asking for time off. The world rests on men's groaning shoulders whilst women lounge around claiming freebies men wouldn't dream about.

Women suck off the welfare state far more than men but it's not just because they can't find a job.
I know women who have been on benefits for decades and have never worked a single day in their entire life, and no one is pushing them to find a job, social workers are actually helping them to get more benefits and never give them any pressure.
Any man who ends up on benefits for whatever reason almost immediately gets harassed by the same social workers to get off his ass and find a job under the threat of cutting off his benefits (which effectively means letting him die if be can't provide for himself).
The reason 90+% of the homeless population are men is because women in dire situations get free money, free food, free housing, etc... and men get nothing, have to fend for themselves.

Nah, the wage gap is totally real. Just look at this study that Google did: Google Finds It’s Underpaying Many Men as It Addresses Wage Equity

It's not even them taking lower paying jobs. They work less hours in the same fields. I know male doctors tend to work way more hours than female ones. It comes out to them working over 60 days more worth of hours than female doctors in the same field. That's why they get paid more, because they work the equivalent of 1/6 a year more than women.

Even freakonomics had to admit it which clearly pained the NPR staff when discussing data from Uber and Lyft. Dudes would work linger hours and be more likely to go drive at those really inconvenient times that surge pricing happened

Don't worry that company will probably go under soon anyway. #getwokegobroke

If I ever start a business, I will hire women only, since I can legally pay them less
[–][deleted] 32 points33 points34 points 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
They will take the company from right under your hands. False rape allegations and sexual misconduct in the work place don’t need evidence, just a crying vagina and a court date. Also it will go bankrupt and fail miserably quick because women can’t do shit right.

The real wage gap is that if a thot doesn't have a thigh gap she can't leech off men as effectively.

The real wage gap is men getting paid equal to women despite being more productive and hard working.

All because of gender quota. They are promoted to manager level for being incompetent so that they can make space for actual competent employee who knows how to do work at technical level.

Also the women are wonderful effect

It's even better when you realize the govt tax dollars going towards "fixing" the wage gap and breast cancer are disproportionately confiscated from men's earnings.
[–][deleted] 35 points36 points37 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
It's prostate prevention week in my country. No articles (just one that I stumbled upon), no media coverage, no shit from anyone. Oh but breast cancer? Let's cover every second of the run and raise money lmao who cares about prostates what do they even do anyways am i right lol
Society's collapse when?

Whoever contributes more to the economy of bankers/investors/businesses is the winner, even at the detriment to society.

“To close the gender earnings gap, women have to be willing to work more hours per week, more weeks per year, work more in higher-risk jobs and be more exposed to occupational injuries and fatalities (e.g., be willing to experience 50% of workplace fatalities instead of the current 7%), work more in jobs that are physically demanding in more hostile work environments, be willing to commute longer distances, take less time off work for family reasons, take fewer sick days, be willing to accept higher-risk variable incomes like commission-based compensation, be willing to travel more and relocate more often, accept jobs with less human contact, sacrifice job-related personal fulfilment, etc.” -Worstall

It shows you the level of subversion the feminist narrative has pushed, now deep into the system of law, media and people's minds to believe than women should be treated as men by default without requiring any of the effort or applying any of the work effort expected by men to achieve the same success. The objective has always been to secure more for women without any loss of privilege, expecting men to cover the gaps in knowledge, skill, dedicated work effort they choose to do without.

It's possible to push back using their own tactics against them. Just today I had a meeting consisting of 12 women (the relationship managers, account managers, etc.) and 4 men (the technical specialists). The women want their lives made easier this year by not having to do manual entry of a ton of data leading up to Jan 1. I told them it's "a little late in the game to be changing the system but we can put it on the agenda for next year" - a line I've heard from countless women. This was accepted by all. The reality is that I could've done this for them in an hour or less. I could have perhaps started and finished making that change before the call was over. I simply prefer not to do them any favors.

As a man dealing with potential prostate issues, the second one has been on my mind a lot lately. I was told that the cause of about 50% of prostate issues is never determined. Can you imagine if women were told the same about, say, ovarian or uterine issues?

Chick on the right was a Russian Prosecutor. Think they were doing a debriefing. Guy on the left was taking notes mostly.

Men, shop at Dominick's supermarket if there is one in your area. At the checkout line, they had a donation can tied with a blue ribbon for prostate cancer research. I tucked a $20 dollar bill in there.
