Hello Everyone,

This weeks off topic of the week is... Books. You know, those rectangular things made out of dead trees that the "olds" read. In the spirit of being inclusionary to our millenial brethren we can also extend this to include those things you read on e-devices.

Have YOU been reading a good book lately ? What was it ? And why was it "good" ?

Do you have any book recommendations for other users ? Either books you've greatly enjoyed or books you feel the PPD community may be particularly interested in ?

Do you prefer the "dead tree" books ? If so, why ? Do you prefer digital books ? If so, why ? Or are you a hipster who believes a book is not worth reading unless it's been chiseled onto a flat rock, because only properly analog recording mechanisms give you that "feel" thats so important to you ?

Finally, what do YOU think is the future of books ? Destined to be gradually replaced by other forms of media ? A timeless form of art that will outlive us all ? Something in between ?

Have fun everyone.
