And I don't stand by the claim that TRP never works.

I simply criticize the morality behind its inner workings, condemn its indefensible practices, mock the general mindset of some of its users, and point out the times where it patently doesn't work.

Works? You mean stopping being fat, building a nice body you're proud of, getting your career going, winning at life, and actually asking girls out works? Color me surprised. I'm totally fine with all that stuff. I'm absolutely fine with guys chatting about dating women and what it's like.

Unfortunately TRP draws in the least successful guys who form an insular bubble and repeatedly blame women for their own failures. And then they try their best to spread useless harmful, and harmful to themselves, revenge fantasies around. They promote the very degeneracy they rail against in the most hypocritical ways. And their leaders are a bunch of totally unsuccessful douches playing secret king on the internet.

Yes making yourself attractive is good. You know what's even better than making yourself really really good looking? Being a fun person to be around, actually talking to and listening and understanding women, and actually caring about them. Yes guess what TRP is utterly wrong here. Women actually like guys who care about what they think and the experiences they have had in their lives. And who know that they are indeed people too, not mystical goddesses who must be worshipped.

The real problem is that the guys who TRP resonates with are the guys who worshipped an ideal that they placed totally unfairly onto women, actually witnessed that shock women are people too, and rather than discard their worship they just flipped the black and white switch from worship to hatred. They still don't see women as people. They just went from one extreme to the opposite extreme.

We just think you can get laid without being total assholes and needing to think women are inferior, lesser, antagonistic subhuman creatures in order to get there.

I know this is inconceivable for TRPers, but we genuinely don't think that the sidebar is the absolute truth. This may shatter your world view but we genuinely believe in something different than what the sidebar says and aren't just lying to keep spergy nerds in the dark.

Let's consider two things:

1) We don't know many women (well at least not many that are older than 15) that are attracted to TRPs wannabe-alpha pseudo-masculinity.

For us it's like you guys learned everything about women from porn and age-old stereotypes which is why we often bring up basement dwelling accusations because if feels like you are only talking about what sounds logical in a TRP framework, but not about what actually works best in real life.

2) We also don't know many women for whom AWALT is true. We don't agree with TRP that all women are illogical, illoyal, immature, unempathetic kids with daddy issues that are exclusively attracted to drug dealers.

It's like you guys spend more time creating a strawman than talking about how women actually are. It's like the main thing you want to achieve is to deepen the divide between men and women and make it harder for men to connect with women, but not talking about the way normal women are. And again it's as if everything you've learned about women comes from reality TV and porn.

All in all: no we aren't just lying, we genuinely don't live in the same social sphere as TRPers and barely know any women for whom TRP is true.

Edit: this whole post is basically the root of what's wrong with TRP: instead of trying to understand the reality of what's going on you analyze it through paranoia and by assuming that you know better why other people do things than those people themselves

Ahaha, I remember a TRP post from a few years ago. A field report where the author told the totally real story of him talking about TRP to his sister, who turned white with fear and quietly whispered "Men aren't supposed to know these things!"

it's not conscious but I do feel it plays a part. Most women lack self awareness to the extent to even understand what they select for/their own behaviors, so I don't think ti's a conspiracy but more of an unconscious thing.

Disapproval for TRP is simply because we aren't very pleasant. There's no need to hide feminine strategy. Any girl employing a strategy that you would think should be kept secret, is using it on a guy who wouldn't listen to my advice even if I fucked her right in front of him.

I just disagree with red pill. No games, no hiding. I've only dated beta nonproviders who didn't have to lift a finger. I was never sexually attracted to alphas. I'm also surrounded by professional women who married men who earn less than them. It's really hard to argue that your red pill theory is some sort of unavoidable nature.

They don't want to keep it a secret. They deny reality because they cannot accept reality as it is, so they have to pretend that it is as they would have liked it to be. It's not a conspiracy. They just want to be on team Good.

Also -- and this is a leftist trait in general, and very ironic -- they don't like it when people win because they change their behaviour. They only like it when people win "naturally". If a natural alpha wins they find that acceptable, but a beta nerd should know his place. Adopting alpha behaviour is creepy. Similarly, leftists don't resent people who win the lottery, but they resent a businessman.

You can never tell because the first rule of Power Talk is "don't Straight Talk about Powertalk" (google the Gervais Principal if you don't know what I am on about).

But that aside, I don't believe what you are saying from experience. Accepting that I will sound pretentious, I am smart enough to understand many arguments: let's say in the field of economics and religious. When I go online, I see many people using other people's arguments incorrectly, they will spout common sayings and rebuttals while missing the point and others will agree with them also missing the point. This suggests to me that they are parroting arguments that they like instead of thinking carefully.

Because of how often I see this, I am let to believe that most people disapprove of TRP because it is not the mainsteam, if we went back 400 years (or let's say transported to Saudi Arabia) the same people would be saying the opposite thing with the same amount of conviction.

They don't agree because of subtlety or deception, merely because it is the current fad.
