Typically if a man or woman makes a statement that's impersonal or not necessarily about a specific woman, that woman will personalize the statement as if it is indeed about her.

We see this all the time on PPD as we're often talking about women and generalizing, but instead of discussing the generalizations women will attempt to show how they personally are not like that more often that not.

Women taking things personally when something impersonal is said is a giant heart of female solipsism.
