I'm starting to see a much more reserved tone among women who don't want to be associated with Feminism, who want families, who are willing to make compromises in order to get what they want from men.

I'm also not terrifically surprised at the correlation between an aversion to religion with the decline in marriage. As the minority of non-religious folks increases, and that group opts out of marriage, has less sex, and has fewer children, women are increasingly placed in an awkward position where they still want all the things that were guaranteed under marriage, but don't want to behave religiously.

This isn't a CMV, but I'm leaning toward the absence of marriage becoming a pressure variable for women to change their behavior and adopt more socially conservative ideas.
