Inspired by an earlier thread, who would you say is, on the whole pickier about their partners? Men or Women?

Does it change if we're talking about just sex vs. relationships?

If you could identify as M/F, and Red/Purple/Blue, that'd be cool too.

For my part, I'd argue that women are pickier with men than vice versa, regardless of whether it's just sex or a relationship. This is because women have a lower sex drive, which allows a passive sexual strategy, meaning they can just choose the best of the several options presented to her in a given time frame.

Anecdotally, last week a guy at a trade show gave my friend his number. Privately, she told us she wasn't remotely interested. When pressed why (guy met the standard stated criteria, goodish looking, kind, successful for his age) she said it was because he was wearing "old man shoes" which in this case means loafers, (probably because this was a business casual event where he was on his feet for 8 hours). And while this is probably up there for the dumbest reason I've ever seen a girl reject a guy, it's not so far outside the norm to be unbelievable.

BONUS: What's the dumbest reason you've ever heard of for someone rejecting a date/person?
