Women ovulate for 24 hours, typically. Now yes we can get pregnant in the days leading up to ovulation but only if sperm is introduced. No egg, no pregnancy. Period. We also have what is (generally) a 25 year window before conceiving will become complicated and incredibly difficult.

Men are fertile 100% of the time until their 90's. They can potentially get someone pregnant at any point, anywhere, for roughly 7 decades.

The fact that it's *women* who are pressured and burdened to take responsibility for birth control and it's women who are shamed when they don't want this burden or when they experience negative side effects, while men get off scot free from ever worrying about it, is truly one of the sickest aspects of the patriarchy IMO.

That is all.
