I'm really good friends with a MtoF tran, still intact. I would date her in a heartbeat, but she's been married for like 20 years. They got married young and the wife has totally supported his/her transformation. They are an awesome couple I love them.

Gay man here. I wouldn't have a one night stand with anyone, regardless of whether they're trans or cis, but when it comes to dating/ LTR/ marriage, it depends. Sex is very important to me and I'm rather fond of dick, so pre-op is out, and I hear bottom surgery isn't up that good for FtMs at the moment, so I'd have to factor that into my decision.

If it improves though, which seems to be where things are headed if reports are to be believed, I'd be more than happy to date a post-op trans-man if we were compatible and I were single.

Still a bit of a grey area for me. I've found myself attracted to FtM men early in their transition and MtF late in their transition. Dating, sure. Beyond dating I'll figure it out when I reach that point.

Not to mention it was said somewhere in the thread that a FtM would not have a functioning... member? I'm not educated on the issue but if that was the case it would be a deal breaker for me personally.

As for LTR or marriage, I don't think I would be able to maintain a romantic/sexual relationship with a trans man, especially if he looked/behaved in a feminine manner.

It really depends. You can't say who you'd be in a relationship until you've met them. I wouldn't want to be in a relationship with just anyone, whether they're transgender or not, it depends on the person.
