If you haven't already, check out the admin announcement here which outlines an updated version of their policy against bullying and harassment.
As our subreddit's goals and mission statement already fall in line with these policies, there is no reason why we cannot adopt these policies and continue discussing red pill truths.
We do not tolerate the harassment, threatening, or bullying of people on our site; nor do we tolerate communities dedicated to this behavior.
Reddit is a place for conversation, and in that context, we define this behavior as anything that works to shut someone out of the conversation through intimidation or abuse, online or off. Depending on the context, this can take on a range of forms, from directing unwanted invective at someone to following them from subreddit to subreddit, just to name a few. Behavior can be harassing or abusive regardless of whether it occurs in public content (e.g. a post, comment, username, subreddit name, subreddit styling, sidebar materials, etc.) or private messages/chat.
Being annoying, downvoting, or disagreeing with someone, even strongly, is not harassment. However, menacing someone, directing abuse at a person or group, following them around the site, encouraging others to do any of these actions, or otherwise behaving in a way that would discourage a reasonable person from participating on Reddit crosses the line.
Steps we have already taken:
- No inter-reddit links allowed
- No pictures of private citizens
Steps we will be increasingly moderating:
- Don't harass or bully individuals. Instead make comments in good faith and be light hearted
- Don't threaten violence or malicious acts against anybody. That includes telling people they should hurt themselves, or that "it should happen, but I would never do it myself.."
Nothing on topic should change under this. Only people violating the rules in practice will be seeing a change- such as fringe users and incels will see their content removed more quickly.
Stick to Rule Zero so we can continue our discussion. And make sure you sign up on https://www.trp.red for more quality content!
