Hello All,

It's commonly said on the r/TheRedPIll that black males such as me are "naturally red-pilled" for a variety of reasons, however usually due to growing up in rough socioeconomic conditions that forced us to see everything, including dating and female relationships, as they *really* are. Casting aside whether or not that's true, luckily enough my experience in America since childhood has been one of constant upward economic mobility due to my overachieving parents. Whatever the case, I'm certainly not "naturally red-pilled" from what I read on TRP and what not, although from my recent college experiences (parties, bars, etc) that seems to be working against me, particularly in the appearance department. At least it seems to me that the "Tryones" (as TRP refers to them) were doing particularly well if anyone, based on my admittedly weak subjective analysis.

It's commonly said that interest is spurred though appearance then cultivated through correspondence, personality and such. Seeing as how in America the standard for black male beauty seems to evolve around large muscles and a generally brutish/dominant exterior (Will Smith, Idris Elba etc), in terms of generating interest should I concern myself with this stereotype? Due to my vegetarian diet I've managed to stay fit and lean without being particularly muscular. I'm also trying to defy stereotype somewhat by not presenting myself as the typical athlete or as aggressive (or whatever...), since that is certainly what people will make of it. I've also never been particularly confident or forward with women and I'm trying to change that, and even this is somewhat challenging since when you're a man of my skin color, when it comes to what qualifies as abuse, you feel yourself walking a thinner line.

Nonetheless, should I try and become Tyrone?
