AWALT dude. Women nowadays, even in the church, have a princess attitude. Point anything like this out and they can't deal with it.

All the stuff about the inner person matters more than the outer appearance? The outer appearance is a reflection of the inner person to an extent.

Matthew 7:20 - "Yes, just as you can identify a tree by its fruit, so you can identify people by their actions."

If your actions are to wear slutty clothes, get tatted up, and sleep around, what does that say?

1 Peter 3:3-4 - Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as braided hair and the wearing of gold jewelry and fine clothes. Instead, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight.

So basically this is telling women not to preen too much, but to work on being beautiful inside. How much time does a girl spend on makeup, vs the word of God?

Which leads us to:

Timothy 2:9-10 "Paul said: I also want women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God."

and

Deutoronomy 22:5 "The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God."

and

Proverbs 31:25 "She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come."

So yeah, there's a suggestion in the Bible that women dress in a plain fashion, and practice modesty.

Now here's the catch: It isn't your job to tell these women that. What I mean is that, again, the outside is a reflection of the inside. A truly godly woman is gonna have this down from a young age.

So maybe instead observe, and use this as a guide to quickly weed out a bunch of unsuitable women.

Haha no surprise coming from ChristianDeadBedrooms, where women rule. God forbid that you should hold a woman to the standard of Scripture.

Misogynist is a label they throw around to get you to back down when they don't like the truth of what you're saying. Any truly God-fearing woman would agree with what you wrote because that's what Scripture says. It's obvious that most of them spend more time reading subreddits and other stuff than they do reading God's Word.

Any time a man says anything to/about women that women dislike, you're gonna be called misogynistic.

That thread is full of castrated men, feminists, and bitter spinsters. I'll have you know their cats don't care what they wear!

Broach any topic that can shine any small ray of light that puts women’s sin in it and you are going to get criticism. Forget ever trying to teach a Christian woman anything except what she wants to hear if you don’t want to be labeled a sexist misogynistic pig.

That’s the state of the church in the west today and don’t forget it. I learned this many years ago by publicly stating that Christian women shouldn’t watch such trash as the tv show The Bachelor etc.

Your problem is caring what other people label you as.

It's pretty obvious based on your intent that you're not a "woman hater," but your post did come off as 'preachy' (to me at least) which can give women bad vibes which they interpret as "misogynistic" when it's not.

Take the real lesson and move on: Think wisely about how you word sensitive topics.

Generally, when talking with/about women you need to season your words and actions with kindness and sympathy, especially when talking about hard truths.
