Churches, meetup.com, find activities or sports you like and meet people there, find a club, learn a skill (hobby) and meet people there, find a cause you're passionate about and volunteer.

Honestly, this is an abundance problem. You have so many possibilities you may not know where to start. If you lived in Iraq and it was illegal to be a Christian we might have to start really getting creative, but not in most places in the west.

Avoid online stuff. It's not real and it will build bad habits. Go get out of your home instead.

Don't focus on meeting women in these activities. Because if you do then you're buying into her frame and making her your universe. Develop a mission and do things you are passionate about or what you enjoy. Women MAY be attracted to you if you build something attractive. If not, don't worry, you're probably romanticising them.

Honestly, as a 22 year old also in your boat, I’d say to just let life sort things out. I find that we come across the best things when we least expect them.

What state and city do you live in? Honestly finding your own church without your parents that had a young adults group may be a good bet.

Where do you live? Is there a young adults church group you can join? I am starting up one here and earlier today had a meeting with the young adult coordinator with the Archdiocese.

Some good ones that haven't been mentioned yet.

In college, join a solid Christian group like Navigators or Cru
Slightly out of college, potentially help mentor/lead a group like Navigators or Cru to hone your leadership skills + still meet young single Christians
In Church, join the young adults ministry
Visit different Church's young adults ministries
Go to various inter-Church events
Volunteer/serve on various ministries in your Church (can occasionally meet women there)

I second the motion to find your own church away from family. It sounds weird, but if you live with your family and go to church with your family, you get put back into the "child" frame, living off the permissions of your guardians. This stagnates your growth as a "man with a mission", and keeps you in your child thinking and habits. Plus, you'll always be known as "that Parent's kid" at church, which will hurt more than help in the social dynamics you desire.

I understand when people have financial struggles to not move out ASAP, but you still need to find ways to isolate yourself from family mentally/emotionally if you can't do it physically. One of the best ways to do this is to create a lifestyle where your life revolves around you and your needs, spearating yourself from your family-dependent frame. Finding a church you jive with and becoming a member WITHOUT your family is a really easy way to find people within your own frame. Don't go to seek a woman or to "improve your social skills" or some crap like that, but go because you are an independent MAN and you CHOSE to get involved in this church.

I did this myself a lot later in life (at 27), but I wish I had done it as early as possible. It's an amazing first step into coming into your own and becoming your true adult self.
