How do you reconcile TRP with Christian values?

As /u/Deep_Strength said, you don't. There is no reconciling the things of God with the things that are not of God. There is a hard line that is not to be crossed. Jesus said, "If you're not for me, you're against me" (Matthew 12:30). We don't adopt things that are against God.

I wrote a post a while back about how there is no "Christian version" of anything. That includes anything RP. RPC is not a "Christian version" of the red pill. It's the reverse. The red pill is a secular version of the things the Bible tells us.

As is often said on TRP and MRP, secular RP is merely "men swapping notes." They observe the world, see what works and what doesn't, then share their stories until they come up with doctrines and philosophies that account for all of their various findings.

Imagine I created a computer program to do a ton of really cool things. Now imagine there's a team of experts who are using my program, experimenting with it to figure out all the really cool things I coded the program to do. They start a subreddit to share all the amazing things they're finding about my program. Now suppose I go on that subreddit and start an AMA saying, "I'm the guy who wrote the program. I'll tell you everything it does - what you've got right, what you've got wrong, etc." ... and everyone says, "You're not real. There is no programmer. This code just created itself over time." So, that guy leaves and goes to one of his friends (me) and says, "They've found some really cool stuff, but they're missing it. I actually wrote a manual for all this, but they don't want to read it - they think it's hogwash. Will you start another subreddit that teaches about my program from my manual instead of the piecemeal things that those other guys figured out?"

That's what RPC is. That's why I started this sub. We don't bring secular concepts here. We look at the Bible and explain from the manual how the world works. We use the same terminology the secular folks do, not because they figured it out first or because their way is right, but to reach them. Everywhere the Bible goes, it needs translators to speak the language of the target audience. Just as there are national languages, there are also cultural languages, something like a unique dialect. So, when an RP person says "amused mastery" or "dread," there's a defined meaning there that the rest of the world simply won't get - and if you try to use language from the rest of the world while reaching them, they'll view you as an outsider and not one of them.

Indeed, we are "one of them." We are two factions of people trying to figure out how to use this program that was put before us. The rest of the world isn't interested in doing that. They just want to ignore that a program exists at all, treat it as random happenstance, or even attempt to rewrite the coding, which often results in critical errors in their life. To that end, secular and Christian RP are brothers on a common mission. Our method of executing that mission is where we differ. The secular crowd says "only experimentation." The Christian crowd here says, "Look to the manual first, then experimentation when we can't find the answer quickly enough."

What's most interesting to me is the fact that "the red pill" has stolen its name from The Matrix when the true analogy being developed by those movies is not about male/female dynamics, but about the parallels between the physical and spiritual world, which is only actually addressed by the Bible.

All of that aside, when secular RP says something that we know to be sinful, many people want to say, "Take the good parts of RP and leave out the rest." This is an incorrect reply because it looks to secular RP as the baseline of truth, from which we pick and choose based on our external moral standards from the Bible.

In reality, if RP is about truth, then the Bible is the baseline. When secular RP says anything sinful, it's not that you just ignore that part of RP - it's that those parts aren't RP in the first place. They got it wrong. The manual tells us what's right. The experimenters misunderstood the results of one of their experiments or haven't taken it to its natural conclusion - like when science deems something to be safe, then finds out decades later that prolongued exposure is highly cancerous, such as cigarettes ... and then everyone scrambles to fix their original recommendation.

Welcome! Interesting to have a brother of the Book with an interesting question.

The final chapter of my Book was reconciling the teachings of Jesus with Red Pill. Specifically the Divorce instructions in the NT are a tricky thing to navigate for TRP guys.

I don't see any problem whatsoever between TRP and Islam. Just make sure you only spin 4 plates at a time!!

I'm not going to argue against the RP perspective on human nature, because I think it does a fairly good job of describing our motivations and tendencies. But before you criticize women's behavior, consider this: Go to the MRP sub, and you'll find probably half the guys there are "spinning plates," or cheating on their wives, and most of the rest would like to be. Anyone who speaks out against this behavior will be chastised. The RP canon holds that it's necessary for even happily married men to constantly approach ("open") and flirt with strange women to maintain "abundance mentality." (My man was actually banned from that forum for saying that he didn't see the necessity of hitting on strange when he could just have sex with his girlfriend whenever he wanted.)

Now, visit the RP women's forums and survey the discourse. You won't hear women there urging others to exercise their hypergamy and branch-swing to more attractive partners, or simply cuck their beta mates! Most RPW seem to be sincerely trying to have the best relationships they can and to please their partners. The RPW forum doesn't allow advocating for any kind of sex outside of marriage or a committed LTR. You will be banned, or threatened with a ban, if you suggest something as innocuous as that it's not an entirely bad thing for a single girl to have a few discreet FWBs. (Ask me how I know this, lol.)

So which gender is more unkind to the other, really? It seems to me that women have a lot more to worry about than men (or maybe both genders should be a little nervous, lol).

You don't.

You look at the Bible and see what the Bible says about human nature first (which is a lot).
Then you take into account the wisdom you've gained from the Bible and see what common patterns are there an also in 'worldly wisdom' that are similar that would be applicable to use (e.g. things about teaching leadership skills like 'how to win friends and influence people').
Throw out any other secular advice that clearly attempts to sin, manipulate, and influence negatively.

how can one believe in God if he built disloyalty, hypergamy, and greed (fixation on SMV, including wealth) into at least half of his creation?

If I am not mistaken, one of the areas where Islam deviates from Christianity is that Islam does not have a doctrine of original sin. The Christian explanation of why God's creation has flaws (disloyalty, hypergamy, greed, etc) is because when mankind fell, every descendant of Adam has inherited a sinful fallen nature. Those negative attributes are an aberration of God's design, not the original intent. When God ultimately restores creation, men and women will be without such flaws.

In the fallen state that we live in, however, we must contend with the way this broken world is.

I feel set up for failure. That, or back breaking work to increase wealth and lifestyle to the point that any wife I have won't cheat on me.

Unfortunately even the wealthiest men who provide the best possible of lifestyles are sometimes cheated on. Beta provider men are especially susceptible to this.

how can one even get married nowadays?

While it is at great risk, not every marriage is doomed to failure. I am happily married to an incredibly attractive Christian woman who has traditional expectations for marriage. Over 5 years in we are both more satisfied than ever. Most women aren't suitable for marriage and the few that are tend to get married off young and quickly.

Even with all of this, I recognize that none of this is foolproof and one has to plan accordingly.

We are here to help. Just know that our perspective will be steeped heavily in Christian presuppositions and that you may need some clarification from time to time. Honestly the better you understand Christianity the more you will be able to understand what is going on beneath the hood so to speak.

Hey bro glad you are here, but you need read the rules before posting. You need to post your stats before you ask your question or talk about some aspect of TRPChristians. U/Red-Curious I think the rules either need to be modified or reinforced harder. What do you think? People are getting their posts addressed whether they are abiding by the rules or not.
