I heard about this book called "Why Men Love Bitches" and apparently it has sold over one million copies. I decided to pirate the book and skim it to see what kind of tricks the other side is using on me. What I noticed is that the book is basically word for word the same strategies we use and talk about. It's basically the fucking sidebar. Here are some of the sub-headings of a chapter. I wasn't able to copy what is under the subheadings due to my book reader not letting me copy paste text, but you'll get the general idea from the titles.

"Meet the New and Improved Bitch:

  1. She maintains her independence

  2. She doesn't pursue him

  3. She is mysterious

  4. She leaves him wanting

  5. She doesn't let him see her sweat

  6. She remains in control of her time

  7. She maintains a sense of humor

  8. She places a high value on herself

  9. She is passionate about something other than him

  10. She treats her body like a finely tuned machine"

There's a whole chapter called "How To Convince Him He's in Control While You Run the Show" and from reading it I can see how some of the tactics are effective.

There's also sections on dealing with shittests from men like men showing up late, men bringing up exes, and getting amog-ed by hotter females in the presence of your man. There's even a brief section on nexting. Just skimming this book has been useful to me as I've picked up on female manipulation tactics that have been used on me that I didn't even know existed.

Why is it that mainstream dating advice for women is extremely similar to what we preach on here?

This book is mainstream but when we pitch these same ideas it's somehow manipulative and sexist lmao.

Correct. Way back in the day, PUA started with Ross Jefferies. He started in the mid 90's and there a lot of focus on NLP in his material.

If you search his name + PUA or seduction, you'll find a lot of early posts in the early 2000's about him.

Next came Mystery with his Mystery Method which introduced things like negs, AMOG, peacocking, kino escalation, chick crack, etc.

What made it go yuuuuge and break into the mainstream was when a journalist and author named Neil Strauss wrote The Game in 2001 about pick up artistry and the Mystery Method.

The book was super popular and after that tons of guys poured into the PUA seduction community. Before the book, the community was heavily underground.

And now we have the Red Pill which is one of the derivative schools of thought from the PUA community.

Neil Strauss was part of a TV show, so he made popular the Mystery Method and Ross Jefferies, but those are just some PUA branches. There are many, many others from all around the world.

The idea of the Strong Independent Woman™® is prevalent. Feminists can't stand conditions in which a man is superior to them. However, a woman being superior to men is, ironically, what they call equality. Since feminism is mainstream, anything that goes against this core idea is per definition sexist, misogynist and result of the oppressive patriarchy (the existence of which is refuted by not having to fear any consequences of lamenting about how oppressive the patriarchy is).

Let them believe they are superior. It's all just a shit test. Ask yourself: How does skimming through that book help me get a better version of myself? It doesn't. Remain composute/frame and don't forget to lift.

I see what you're saying. It did slightly help me as I can now easier recognize when I'm being manipulated and eject faster. Some of the tactics they're pushing are super covert and designed to go under your radar. I recommend a 15-20 minute skim while you're on the shitter, nothing to lose. It's almost funny the levels of manipulation going on: let her believe she's in control by letting you believe you're in control.

You'd be surprised what effort people will go to to be told what they want to hear.
