Simple enough story though, the husband is spineless and in the back of her head she's thinking, "Wow I got away with it!"

Actually she probably isn't thinking about the encounter with those two dudes at all, she is probably thinking of how she can get her husband to forgive and forget the fact that she crossed some pretty fucked up boundaries... And at some point, her emotional desires will again take precedent over her husbands wishes. I have no sympathy for the dude though, people who ignore their gut instincts and give way to "heartfelt reassurances" from that backwards subreddit deserve the bed they made.

This may be my first post on TRP but I suggest you provide a little more quality in your posts. We all know this shit happens, that all women can hamster away their guilt, and that the husband will never change. But what is the takeaway from all of this?

Not trying to be antagonistic, it was an interesting read but I felt like this was a post that has a good example of some dumb shit people do and believe but I felt like it was lacking a wider analysis.

I might be wrong in my thinking here, but if I ever change my mind and decide I want to 'spend the rest of my life' with sombody, I would have to establish some basic groundwork which would include no bachalorette parties, nightclubs with the girls, etc.. I don't necessarily think that jealousy is at play as much as a concern for mutual respect and loyalty.Women are very much influenced by emotion which is only natural, but they should also be held accountable for their actions which means all bets are off the first time this shit happens (hopfully this issue comes up prior to getting married for obvious reasons). In all honesty, the more that I am living life, the more AWALT is confirmed, I've yet to find an exception unfortunatley.
