PhD in Liberal Arts!!!??? Hahahaha
[–]llama_in_space47 points48 points49 points 3 years ago* (6 children) | Copy Link
My first thought exactly. If she did a STEM degree then I'd bother reading.
I bet her profs aren't so much impressed by her huge 'knowledge base', but rather surprised by why she chose to internalise such a massive amount of useless 'opinions' on life.
[–]ComprehensiveMGTOW26 points27 points28 points 3 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
She clearly has a talent for rote memorization, as demonstrated by her ability to reel off the names of theories; whilst at the same time lacking the ability to think critically and objectively about things.
Sadly, rote memorization is all that is required to get a PhD in the liberal arts.
[–]pkarlmann12 points13 points14 points 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
ability to think critically
These morons call it "Critical Theory", but mean their bs Marxist crap with it. She's been lied to.
[–]ComprehensiveMGTOW12 points13 points14 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
To them, labelling everything as sexist and racist is "critical thinking".
[–]llama_in_space8 points9 points10 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I lol'ed at "imagine telling Marx that he was wrong". Yes, I can imagine that. Einstein showed that Newton was wrong. But no one can prove Pythagoras wrong, even after 2000+ years. Marx' work is not infalliable.
[–]SomeGhostingGuy2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I tried to read Marx and stopped at page 3.
Logical fallacy on page 3, put it down and never bothered again.
Imho it is not "ownership of the means of production" he tries to build his case on but the availability of markets.
You can have the biggest farm, if you have to let all your fruit rot because there is nobody to buy them or has the means to do so (or however goods are exchanged) all you work is futile.
All that is left for you to do is subsistence farming to feed yourself , they still have huge gardens in UA, Russia and other former marxist run countries because the state run "means of production" were even unable to fill basic needs.
[–]ThotQuestion1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Female. There is your answer.
[–]AeternusDoleo44 points45 points46 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Honestly... this is such a caricature of wokeness... I half wonder if this is a troll pretending to be a professional belligerent. But it could just be one of those professional wokies slowly coming to terms with the fact that almost nobody buys what they are selling - let alone invite it into their private lives. "You're wrong when you disagree with me" is a boring conversation.
[–]ComprehensiveMGTOW21 points22 points23 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
She's the type to report a guy for disagreeing with her opinion, and label his contrary opinion as "hate speech" in the hope he is fired from his job/college.
That'll teach him!
[–]ncarolina6633 points34 points35 points 3 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
As soon as I saw "liberal arts field" and "My work is pretty intense", I knew this was going to be a joke....Actually I should have gotten that even sooner when I saw "PhD" and "woman"....LOL!
[–]ComprehensiveMGTOW22 points23 points24 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
I'm a self taught Senior Software Developer. It took me years to get up to this level, I grafted hard from the ground up teaching myself computer programming, data structures, algorithms etc.
I had no college, no professor to hold my hand, I only had my own wits and intelligence to learn the field... and quite frankly it was hard, but i'm exceedingly proud that I did it on my own.
I have a feeling this girl is the kind who would sign up to a STEM course to smash the patriarchy and "old boys club", only to find it's actually a hard subject that requires a lot of logical thinking and problem solving. Then, she'd resign claiming sexism pushed her out.
[–]Infinitewisdom1984[S] 8 points9 points10 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
She's a pseudo-intellectual try-hard, desperately hoping people think of her as intelligent. The fact that she's going for a PhD in a subject that could easily be learned in full via google/reading books by anyone with an IQ above room temperature tells us all we need to know about her. I will bet her worst subjects are math & physics, that she has an IQ no higher than about 115 (heavily slanted toward verbal), that she probably thinks she's the equivalent of an IQ130+, and that I could crush her in a debate in her own subject with nothing more than /pol/ infographics.
[–]ComprehensiveMGTOW0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I suspect you are correct.
Though, i'd disagree on her IQ being about 115. I believe you are being over generous. I'd counter your estimate, by arguing that an IQ of 100 is sufficient for rote memorization of a subject... especially one that does not involve any actual thinking, such as the liberal arts.
[–]gashejje9 points10 points11 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I didn’t know liberal arts had PhD. 😂
[–]Rottinghere24 points25 points26 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Definitely either a sociology or anthropology major. In another ten years she'll be wondering why she still can't afford a house.
I knew more than a few chicks like this back in college. They would read Marx, Engels, Luxemburg, Chomsky, Zinn, Fanon, Lukács, etc. for the first time and suddenly think that they had the world all figured out, even though most of them could barely function on their own (some still can't).
Every one of them thought of herself as a remarkably cerebral and uniquely gifted woman, who undoubtedly possessed a very keen and savvy worldview. In reality, they were nothing more than yet another generation of cookie-cutter leftist dullards thoroughly devoid of any capacity for original thought. Each of them was a legend in her own mind.
Unsurprisingly, at last check, they're all still single.
[–]Red_Liner7406 points7 points8 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Just like this one. I find it funny the lack of critical thinking calling men shallow or fake enlightened when she’s literally doing the same thing.
“That’s nice, the light bulb is out....change it”
There’s an ever growing segment of “educated” people who wouldn’t function for a day without today’s society holding their hand and doing everything for them.
[–]Alexius_von_Meinong2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Spot on.
[–]ComprehensiveMGTOW15 points16 points17 points 3 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link
"I'm a PhD track in a liberal arts field. My work is pretty intense" - if she regards studying liberal arts as "pretty intense", then I would argue she has a very loose definition of the word "intense".
Either that, or she is simply lazy and unmotivated; thus, any activity requiring the bare minimum of effort qualifies as "intense" in her mind.
Addendum: She also describes men as lacking critical thinking for seeing things in black and white (i.e., objectively), when she herself admits to seeing all things through a Marxist theory lens (i.e., subjectively).
I may not have a PhD, but i'm 100% sure that critical thinking involves thinking objectively (as men do) about something, instead of subjectively (as she does) about something.
[–]Megitgud4 points5 points6 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Marxists use the old trick of naming their fraudulent ideas with palatable names to recruit useful idiots:
"Critical Theory" sounds less suspicious than Marxist Theory;
"Frankfurt School" is less radical than School of Marxist Thought;
"Critical Race Theory" is less obvious than Black Marxism.
The girl learned to associate the word "critical" with the pile of marxism she was brainwashed to believe, the subversion of her mind is complete. That's why she thinks men are lacking in critical marxist thinking.
I get you, that makes sense now.
[–]someevilwhitemen14 points15 points16 points 3 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
that's the great trick of the left make you think that repeating their talking ad nauseum make you smart educated and morally superior to other
they actually believe they are enlightened for vomiting a concept of oppressor oppressed and all other false dichotomy , that just good for a children minded individual
these people have way too cozy life and are totally disconnected from reality
they have an entire argumentative strategy based on a bs concept, and convinced themselves that because our argumentative strategy is so elaborated so we are so smart when we can repeat it in fifty different shades of marxism
but at the end its all the same bs again and again based on the same false insane axiom and distorted view of reality
another truth about marxism , it was always a bourgeoisie (by 'intellectuals' ideology , create by people that think they are superior to the masses they are smarter knows better so have legitimacy to rule over the masses for their own good
other thing every marxist revolution was massively financed and promote by the (the right bourgeoisie (creator of wealth) the one they criticize so much and its logic these people are incapable to produce anything valuable for anyone , they are parasitic by nature
[–]GladKaleidoscope15857 points8 points9 points 3 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link
Not a marxist by any means, just a major in history.
“to rule over the masses for their own good“
This is what’s known as the dictatorship of the proletariat. An intermediary point for Marxists that no communist nations have ever surpassed. In their own theory.
I used to believe that marxist nations were just designed to be tyrannical.
[–]someevilwhitemen2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
there is no such thing as marxist nation either (except intermediary) !!! its all about a global government and no money , so enslavement of the population
[–]someevilwhitemen0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link
yes they were !!! because you think given that much power to 'expert' they think they are better than you , and are incapable to acknowledge reality is going to be what except totalitarianism
and dont get me started with the scam of collective owned mean of production
capitalist is the system where people actually own the mean of production, but they will say but not every people so its not equal , we need us expert to make everyone equal in it
the problem with it is to fight and restrain the freedom of the big one, but systematically these big one corrupted the government not to do so
the same the so called anarcho communism, so when everyone is entitled to his own behavior, but so for no reason everyone will just work for the rest of mankind to serve in the rat race, no family no nation no god no reason except the great honor to feed the beast entitlement of the individual the anarchist one create chaos , so the governement end up existing in new form to put a end to the chaos
marxism is just beautiful rethoric from a brilliant man, its not real its a trap marx was praising in the poems he wrotes satan and complete and total destruction of everything marx was financed by extremely rich bourgeois like engels
the bolschevik revolution was financed by bankers, but i guess the rich actually understand the potential of power of marxism, other people just fall into the trap
[–]Infinitewisdom1984[S] 0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Because Marxism is simply a retarded utopian idealistic philosophy with 0 understanding of human nature or game theory and that's at its most innocent - literally everything would have to happen perfectly and unnaturally with 0 even minor disturbances or the entire thing falls apart. It's John Lennon's "imagine" except everyone is starving and eating eachother.
What it devolves into is the top 1% provoking the bottom 50% to attack the middle 49% to send even more wealth to the top 1%, and the useful idiotic proletariats send themselves into starvation and genocide. Both communism and capitalism were coopted by central banking forces as means of global enslavement - none of these philosophies can work without Nationalism underpinning them, and they're both inherently international just as central banks operate. Both sides of the same coin of wealth and power consolidation - we see this happening in almost real time today, this unholy merging of cultural Marxism and big Corporation. Social justice & profit, that's our society today.
[–]CoinSwapTrader0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
much easier repeating what authority tells you so you can feel smart...the left is a cult.

“Imagine telling Marx he’s totally wrong”
LOL, I don’t even know where to begin with that statement, it almost sounds like the beginning of a joke or maybe a porno.

[–]264frenchtoast0 points1 point2 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Stand back, men. This woman is going to remake society. She will single-handedly engineer civilization with her liberal arts degree.
[–]FreshNothingBurger1 point2 points3 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Her professional CV probably includes an initiative demanding that the cafeteria color-match their drapes, a campaign against the inequality of waiting times in toilet queues and a masters thesis titled "why the designations 'bachelor' and 'master' are problematic - a retrospective case study".
[–]ElectricalCost05 points6 points7 points 3 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Liberal arts? Is that like a degree in nonsense?
[–]ComprehensiveMGTOW7 points8 points9 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I've done online courses in liberal arts, as well as reading about 5 or 6 books on the subject; as i'm interested in philosophy (I did some philosophy courses as well).
Liberal Arts subjects tend to revolve around history, philosophy, literature, sociology, creative writing etc. Basically, subjects which do not [generally] increase the economic productivity of a person.
Today though, most Liberal Arts subjects tend to revolve around Marxist critical theory i.e: everything is racist, everything is sexist, everything is homophobic, and their job is to point it out and tell others how they are sexist, racist and homophobic.

I guess it may help her get a job in HR. Either that, or she better get used to making people Latte.
[–]Nathaniel669 points10 points11 points 3 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
I don't really care what she does. But the fact is, she speaks of herself as Marie Curie Sklodowska, while a simple garbage man bring more value with his work to the society.
[–]ComprehensiveMGTOW2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Good point.
She values herself on what she thinks, whilst I value people on what they do.
[–]Notlikeotherguys5 points6 points7 points 3 years ago* (0 children) | Copy Link
All her knowledge is "theoretical". Truth is that her parents probably pay for her apartment if she's still not living with them.
PHD in liberal arts. She better get knocked up in college so the government can take care of her. Probably why she loves Marx so much.
Stupid men think for themselves... And they rightly thing that all your hypothetical knowledge is horseshit, which tells me you must be ugly as shit, because if you were hot they'd agree with you, pretend to be interested, and not argue with your logic in an attempt to get laid.

"Imagine telling Marx hes wrong based off the experience of a middle class white man" umm... pretty sure marx was a middle class white man. I'd say, as a middle class white man myself, that gives me more ground to stand on than her.
[–]justletmemakeanacc2 points3 points4 points 3 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
It's also a logic fallacy. Argument of authority. Essentially stating that an authority figure can't be wrong because she considers them an authority; pretty stupid.
I'm assuming they don't teach that in whatever social pseudo science course she took. At that point, I would honestly ask for my money back since she's supposedly a on track to become a researcher but can't avoid using basic logic fallacies to state or explain her point of men being generally stupid.

"Men are stupid because they're not brainwashed communists like me!" "So what if its led to the deaths of 100 million people, THAT'S NOT REAL COMMUNISM, Marx was RIGHT and you're literally Hitler!"

There's a lot of humorous value there. It's literally a treasure trove of hilarity. It's obvious to any of us that the reason they need a female dating strategy in the first place is because they're not pretty enough or classy enough to lock down the men they want. We also know that their attempts at "playing hard to get" as average/below average women is never going to work ESPECIALLY with the men they want. So seeing them hamster their BS is very funny to me.

- As an expert in Marxist theory, can you explain why Venezuela has failed? Or why the Soviet Union collapsed?
- Can any parts of Chomsky's body of work can be tested by a clinical trial or a physical test?
