A man's success with his sexuality is not defined by a set number of sexual partners. That negates the quality of the experience, the connection the two individuals had with each other, the environment, and etc. I can have 10 different sex partners and all these experiences be bad - mediocre. Then you can have a man with 1 sexual partner, and the couple sexuality supersedes the individual with multiple partner. The pursuit of sexual grandiosity is a by product of toxic ideas. A form of "bromance". Men should also seek fulfillment from hobbies/interests, and passions. A healthy balanced lifestyle should be the key!

I think RP doesn't invent anything new here, it just stresses some patriarchal ideas, beliefs and values men internalize during their socialization. Cool and popular guys have girlfriends, weirdos sit alone at school etc. Men get used to external validation and feel inadequate and insecure without it.

I understand that its not wise to base your self worth of how much women you have had sex with but having 0 (virgin whose never kissed in his late 20s) still hurts and builds resentment. The only reason I browse RP subs is to get an understanding on how to self improve and build a disposition that would otherwise be more attractive to women. I never follow there behavior guidelines when it comes to interacting with other women but I often wonder if thats the reason I dont have 'success' in that regard.

I follow TRP and do not agree with this. I'd rather be a financially well-off celibate than great with women but financially challenged. My main take away from TRP is avoid problematic women and realize that men are primarily valued for their resources and/or social-status; and that you should always be the priority.

...it's actually women that encourage men to build their self worth in relation to them and their sexual approval. Women benefit from a man's worth being dependent on their approval, and I would agree that the RedPill falls into this trap too.

Men who build their worth independent of women's approval are known as MGTOW, and they are reviled by women generally speaking.
