Recently the archiving of certain pages within Reddit using archive.is returns with a giant "OC" watermark splashed across the page. We're not sure what kind of black magic fuckery this is (something to do with OC tagging), but we want our members to be able to read the content clearly, so we have a few workarounds:

Workaround 1: Archive the page by replacing "www" with "old", followed by the rest of the link. This is only for Reddit pages. (Example)

Workaround 2: Take a screenshot of the Reddit page instead. This is also a good mirror alternative in case Archive.is is running slow. A few online screen capture tools:

We use archived links and screenshots to minimize brigading and harassment on our part, as some members might feel compelled to criticize the OP directly. However we are considering allowing direct linking to much of the internet and some Reddit communities, while still requiring archived links and screenshots of relationship subs.

Thanks!
