Is anyone really arguing the opposite? Even for men? I can’t change your view fundamentally because I’m not sure why you think that the opposite view is common.

That being said I think most young girls ARE made aware that there are many predatory men out there, and young girls are generally more encouraged towards caution than young men. Most parents are responsible enough to tell them and warn them. It’s just that girls think of these “predatory men” as an abstract concept, not people who could actually be close to them and involved in their lives, until it happens.

What do you mean by “naturally red pilled”? Do you mean that someone is red pilled as soon as they come out of the womb? or have they been taught these values?

I’ve never had any personal negative experiences with men. The only thing I can think of is being in a 3rd world country and being advised to cover up etc so that men won’t stare and I won’t feel uncomfortable.

I also was never taught anything other than that women are equal to men. I’ve never experienced any disadvantage for being female. I had a taxi driver tell me I had nice legs once quite late at night. I’m sure this is considered cat calling but I was with a group of people and I didn’t take it in a negative way as I felt safe.

I’m more “red pilled” now because I’m older, not naive and more selfish. For me being more “red pilled” has nothing to do with men and has more to do with myself.

From what I remember of grade school, boys and girls largely self-segregated. And there were a lot of insults back and forth:

"smelly boys" "Girls are from Jupiter where they get even stupider"

etc.

I think it's pretty clear that girls in grade school think girls are "better" than boys. I don't think the attitude is something that suddenly develops around age 20.

I think it is pretty standard for dads to teach their daughters to beware of men, not be alone with them, or in remote locations or bad neighborhoods. This is not really a red pill issue, I think it is common knowledge. It is only modern leftist feminism that says women should be putting themselves at risk in this manner.

I don’t think this represents how the majority of women feel, not including cultures where women are still being married off by their families or only valued based off of their husband’s achievements. I will not be referring to such cultures in my response.

Most of my female peers don’t seem afraid of guys in the least (more the opposite), and those that do feel that way are few, most often affected by negative personal experiences with men at a young age. But I think only a very small minority of men (again, not including those cultures) are inclined to be sexually/emotionally/physically abusive.

16 year old me never had such an experience as you describe there, and I can’t imagine that the majority of women do... And even if I did, I would still not have been meek or submissive in such a situation. I feel that I would at no point in my life have just allowed someone to corner me in an intimidating way or touch me against my will if I could help it.

I did not grow up fearing men, neither by my upbringing nor personal experiences. My parents are indeed quite “liberal” and did not teach me to be afraid of men. But I think it is misguided to believe that the “nature” of men is predatory or even necessarily all that different from the “nature” of women. Many of us just grow into our respective gender roles as we age, as that’s what is generally portrayed as proper and expected of us all, consciously or otherwise.

I am sympathetic towards anyone that is sexually assaulted or harassed and think these things should be treated seriously. It is debatable what you mean about most women having been raped, sexually harassed, etc, depending on what you would consider to be “sexual harassment”. If we are not including things like cat-calling, then I think it is false that most women have been raped, sexually assaulted, or sexually harassed. This is not to say these things don’t happen, as they absolutely do and it is horrible, but it is not the majority. It is understandable that people who experience these things may develop jaded views of the offending demographic in their experience, but this does not at all mean that the majority of said demographic are that way.

None of this is to say that women shouldn’t be cautious about being alone or other things, because everyone probably should be with things like human trafficking in mind, and I think that young people should be made more aware of those sorts of dangers. But I don’t think that mindset is what the majority of women have towards men, and I think it is unfortunate that some people aren’t able to disassociate an entire demographic from their bad personal experiences, rather than rightly placing that hatred, fear, blame, etc. on those individuals that hurt them so.

Society absolutely teaches people to generally resent males. The media constantly berates men for their increased likelihood of sexual and physical violence (which is true). Just look at every movie, bad guy always a man. Look at social media #yesallmen. Look how applauded people are when they attack men. These same sources, however, always neglect to mention that most of western civilization exists because of mans ingenuity and ambition. Men fought valiantly and died for your liberties. But now, the same media wants to pretend like women fought these battles just as much as men (which is a lie).

In general, there is a negative societal stigma against men- when it should be neutral.

I was raised with some RP views. I remember knowing that just because men want to have sex with you, doesn't mean they want a relationship. I remember knowing that girls were pickier and that's why guys ask a lot of us out. I was even told that if you have sex with someone you will feel extra bonded with them making it harder for me to leave them even if they are bad. Idk I was thought the tongue-in-cheek “men only want one thing” yada, but that didn’t prepare me for the actual violence of being sexually assaulted at 16, 19, and 21 years old.

Now? Yeah I look at men with a bit more trepidation. I prefer dating apps to IRL so I can virtually make sure they are who they say they are, and I won’t be alone or drunk with a man - or god forbid, group of men.

Learning by experience is different than learning by culture. Culture taught me to trust my elders, experience taught me that my professor who “sees a lot in me” will try to rape me in a basement if given the chance.

At the very least, teenage girls are very kind and sweet. I mean the underage ones. I dated many as a teenage boy and for a few years, 18-21, as a young man back when everyone did this, and no one cared one bit. They hardly even get mad. They almost never scream and yell. They are often hyper-feminine and submissive. If things go wrong, instead of getting mad, they just cry a lot.

By age 18-20, that's all gone. They're women now and they periodically scream like maniacs at you. I never saw a 14-17 yr old girl do that. I figure they are accumulating bad experiences with men, and that's starting to show up as anger, as the old one way of holding it in and crying doesn't work anymore.

However, most women still don't hate men.

I'm rather mystified at why they don't hate us considering how horrible so many of us men treat them. At one point, every woman I knew over age 50 had had a man try to murder her or threaten to murder her. That's not even including rape.

By the time a woman gets to 50, she will probably have been raped or surely grey-raped at least once, many will have been beaten by men, quite a few will have been threatened and more than you think have had men literally try to murder them. Yet most such women continue to happily state that they love men.

The real manhaters don't even date in my opinion. They go lez or celibate and drop out of dating and marry their dildos.

A 50 year old woman I dated told me that ~20% of middle-aged women in her age group had given up on men and gone lez. And quite a few others hated men and quit dating them. When I showed up at her place, a friend of hers was there who stared at me strangely. Later the woman I was dating told me that her friend didn't like men due to bad experiences with them.

IMHO, most single women after menopause don't want sex at all, and many seem like they have no desire to date, have relationships with, or marry men at all. Sure the sex drive gets nuked, but these women seem like they don't even want companionship. They're dropouts.

I still meet women of all ages though, 18-60, who tell them that they love men and are obviously man-crazy or at least cock-crazy. It's rather amazing how they keep loving us, but I am glad that they do.

This makes some sense. Women watch the same Disney movies that men do with a Prince Charming-like character. I think the difference is that women see the bad guy male characters too, who are usually less attractive than the main male character.

Thus, naive girls tend to group men into a handsome good guy category and a sleazy looking bad guy category. Girls soon learn that an attractive good guy can be just as sleazy as the stereotypical bad guy, though, or even worse.

Men on the other hand see almost every woman put on a pedestal. Even bad female characters often have some rational explanation to why they ended up bad that makes the audience have sympathy for them.

Therefore, I think that women are more Red Pilled than men are. They already know that men can be bad. They just need to learn that even the handsome man who seems like Prince Charming can be bad too. Men, on the other hand, are much more Blue Pilled because they have been fed on an “all women are wonderful” narrative all throughout their childhood.

Not to mention, women, according to women, are told from birth that men 'just want one thing'. Sexually, mothers explain to their daughters just how men are, and they do so very explicitly, and very often.

Perhaps 16 yo you was naive, but that hardly means that most 16 year olds were the same way. Simply because you were not 'naturally red-pilled', does not mean most 16 year olds would've allowed that man to do the same things. Not to say it's your fault in any way, but your experience was the exception, not the norm.
