I think you misunderstand RP, this is not even close to any RP belief. Men still find women in that age group attractive. The 30 year “wall” is simply when women begin declining in SMV relative to men, who are still climbing at that age due to non-physical factors such as success and power. There is a shift in the balance of power between the sexes. It actually has nothing really to do with the way men think, it has to do with the way women react to this shift. Men who they may have turned down in their prime suddenly become more attractive as an option, especially if they are becoming rich and powerful, and in light of their own weakening position with the rise of younger competition.

The lesson a woman should learn from the wall is to seal the deal with a high quality male while still in their prime, and not wait till that 30+ age when it may be more difficult. This is especially a concern for career women.

The lesson to men is to be wary of women around 30 who may be aggressively looking to lock in a man. Strong arm tactics to push for marriage. “Accidental” pregnancies. Gold digging. Lots of things to watch out for. Better for men to marry younger for the same reason, to make a good match.

You don't understand what the wall is. It's not that women wake up at 30 and then bam! they're unattractive. The wall is when women notice they cannot attract the same quality partners they could before. Age plays a huge role in it because younger women generally get more attention from men.

Let me fix the angle of view for you.

Most women in their prime years (early to mid 20's) think that they can always attract the same quality of men regardless of how old they get. It's like when your alarm starts blasting at 5 am and you shut it down convincing yourself that you will get up in the next five minutes when in fact you wake up after 3 hours, your boss is going to kill you and you're probably fired.

Not everyone ages the same way, i have seen a few in their 30s who look like they have just turned 20, so saying all women become unattractive in their 30 to 35s is a generalized statement. None of those men want to talk about how different some men start to look in their 30s like balding, weight gain etc. It is known looks fade away and that's why i believe if you are dating fall for them mostly for their beliefs and personality rather than their appearance, i know appearance plays a huge role in the picture but it shouldn't be the main reason to be with them. Men love women who are supportive of them, the last thing a man wants to do is come home to a competitive environment when life is competitive enough outside the home. In this context, a woman's aging, sagging body is only one of the death knells of the relationship. Hey, if we're going to have to put up with nagging, arguing, and whining, might as well she have a nice young body!
