Much of the controversy stems from how Roosh stated "rape should be legal on private property" in his article How to stop rape [archived]. The media and the complainers conveniently missed the point of the article. If you read that post, you would understand it was only a thought experiment. If rape was legal, how would women act in response? Would they inebriate themselves with copious amounts of alcohol among hordes of horny men? Would they wear skimpy clothing that arouses men at night? Would they walk by themselves in the dark?

By attempting to teach men not to rape, what we have actually done is teach women not to care about being raped, not to protect themselves from easily preventable acts, and not to take responsibility for their actions. At the same time, we don’t hesitate to blame men for bad things that happen to them (if right now you walked into a dangerous ghetto and got robbed, you would be called an idiot and no one would say “teach ghetto kids not to steal”). It was obvious to me that the advice of our esteemed establishment writers and critics wasn’t stopping the problem, and since rape was already on the law books with severe penalties, additional laws or flyers posted on dormitory doors won’t stop this rape culture either.

I thought about this problem and am sure I have the solution: make rape legal if done on private property. I propose that we make the violent taking of a woman not punishable by law when done off public grounds. [...] If rape becomes legal under my proposal, a girl will protect her body in the same manner that she protects her purse and smartphone. If rape becomes legal, a girl will not enter an impaired state of mind where she can’t resist being dragged off to a bedroom with a man who she is unsure of—she’ll scream, yell, or kick at his attempt while bystanders are still around. If rape becomes legal, she will never be unchaperoned with a man she doesn’t want to sleep with. After several months of advertising this law throughout the land, rape would be virtually eliminated on the first day it is applied.

Without daddy government to protect her, a girl would absolutely not enter a private room with a man she doesn’t know or trust unless she is absolutely sure she is ready to sleep with him. Consent is now achieved when she passes underneath the room’s door frame, because she knows that that man can legally do anything he wants to her when it comes to sex. Bad encounters are sure to occur, but these can be learning experiences for the poorly trained woman so she can better identify in the future the type of good man who will treat her like the delicate flower that she believes she is. After only one such sour experience, she will actually want to get fully acquainted with a man for longer than two hours—perhaps even demanding to meet his parents—instead of letting a beer chug prevent her from making the correct decisions to protect her body.

In other words, women would be taking some of the precautions they should already be taking.

She cleverly found a picture of him which can be easily perceived to be low SMV. We all know how that can make it easy to convince emotional folks (women, white knights) who will only associate that and some cherry picked lines from the book and nod in agreement when they never would have even read the book to know the context.

The more recent one got a mens magazine called Zoo removed from shelves at Coles, a major supermarket here. Apparently the mens mag promotes rape culture.... All it takes is some fuckwit SJW in these kinds of organizations to be sympathetic to these dumb cunts for this kinda shit to get approved

Not a big Roosh fan, but I just did the same.

People might say (and they already did even here), that "it's just change.org". While this is true, it is also true that by this moment already over 100.000 dumbnuts have signed this shit.

At some point it moves from being a matter of true or false to just being a PR-problem for amazon, and the result will always be that they give in to the pressure of the nazi-mob.

It has happened before and will happen again. Companies do not care about morality, they care about money.

Besides of that, I'd like to keep it in the spirit of a German leftists' battle cry "Kein Fussbreit den Faschisten!" - "No yielding an inch to the fascists!", which they basically are in their behaviour of trying to ban opinions and to virtually burn books in online store.

You should see the shitstorm Roosh's visit to Toronto caused. I know a few femcunts via my professional channels. They literally believe that Roosh is an actual rapist. As in, not just regret sex, like he actually drugs and rapes women indiscriminately. At no point do they consider the fact that he's not locked behind bars as evidence that perhaps he's not actually raping women.

Even though this is simply an online petition, feminists have done a pretty good job painting the narrative. Few people will actually look into the matter for themselves, most simply believe he's a rapist.

Hell Amazon.com even sells Hitlers Mein Kampf. They don't care as long as Roosh generates enough dough. And even if they cared - no customer goes into an actuell Amazon store because there is none. Shaming can't be done simply by applying some kind of stigma to Amazon. Fuck they sell stuff from third world countries but it's way to convenient for the average Joe or Femi-Joyce to not shop there.
