PSA: you can now be found guilty of sexual assault for being GIVEN a blowjob while YOU are blacked out out

Reddit View

No the title is not hyperbole:

Amherst College expelled a male student who was accused of sexually assaulting a female student while he was blacked out. Again, while he was blacked out. The woman he allegedly assaulted was fully lucid.

tl;dr: chick takes roommate's boyfriend into her room, lays him blacked out on her bed and gives him a blowjob. At some later point he leaves. Two years later she accuses him of sexual assault and a college courts finds him guilty because he couldn't prove that she didn't retract consent during the act (no it doesn't make sense but it's what they said).

There really isn't much more to say about this.

Lessons learned:

  • not just the law but administrative regulations let women fuck you over so easily it's literally absurd

  • logic will never be enough to defend you against a rape accusation, you need some form of hard evidence of continued consent (morning-after texts are the easiest to obtain)

Jesus H Christ, college has really become what the work place became 15 years ago. keep your head down because it is just not worth it.

One of the field crew guys at my company was fired because while on a job in a bank he held the door for a woman, smiled at her and said have a nice day. She complained to management, which threw a fit and the corporate flunkie we have running that part of my company fired the guy on the spot. He didn't ask her out, didn't say "damn nice ass", all that happened was a man whom a woman thought was beneath her dared to hold a door and say have a nice day.

Getting the postmortem from a guy on that crew I've befriended, apparently she was pretty smokin, 8.5/10, 25ish, white. The guy who was fired was average all around, middle aged and Mexican.

It is just about to that point now in colleges.

I hope some high profile colleges begin losing very high profile cases that cost them tens of Millions, maybe the college environment can still be saved but it is doubtful.

Hope your ex-colleague sued your company, the bank and that cunt - there should be money in there somewhere.

[–]Tarnsman4Life24 points25 points  (13 children) | Copy

Our company was basically subcontracting him from a large, national labor ready firm. He was our employee but he was technically on the books of the labor ready company(I have no idea why they do it this way, not my department.) Not only is he out his job at our company, he is permanently banned from doing any work for this very very large national labor ready type company. Unfortunately people in that position are often not sophisticated enough to know they have the resources you suggested above at their disposal.

Thats what happens without unions.

Dudes who have spent their whole lives doing actual work instead of figuring out the intricacies of the law get fucked because they have nowhere to turn for advice.

[–]BradPill2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

True. In a sense that is how the system survives: if every sucker would stand up and fight blatant injustice via court, the economy would come to a screeching halt: not enough lawyers, not enough courts and judges and not enough funds to pay all the damages.

[–]MartialWay7 points8 points  (2 children) | Copy

This is the old crime of "Reckless Eyeballing". A certain part of society (black people) were considered not good enough to talk to (or even look at) another class of people (white women). Now there are whole swaths of people that aren't considered "good enough" to talk to an an attractive young woman.

[–]Tarnsman4Life5 points6 points  (0 children) | Copy

It's funny because the crew my fathers part of the company runs has 2 young, single, very good looking black guys on it who pick up women OTJ all the time under similar circumstances. AF/BB/AWALT example.

[–]scruffist1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

It's an even older concept than "Reckless Eyeballing." Sumptuary laws from Ancient Rome and Greece and later Medieval Europe primarily defined what kind of luxuries (if any) each social class was allowed to buy and wear, but in practice that made it easy to identify who was below your class and discriminate accordingly. US slavery and racism turned the focus to black people for a while, but now things are ramping up across the board with social class regulation.

Holy shit, I wanted to write a joke like "held the door for a lady today, being convicted for rape now" then I saw your message. What was supposed to be a story so fictional and ridiculous it would have been funny is in fact true.

Old story brah, but true nonetheless, rape is a tricky situation because it's often one person's word against another's, that makes the situation of innocent until proven guilty an important principle.

retract consent during the act

Feminist ideas of consent, she can retract consent during the act and if he stops it's still rape, she can change her mind after the event happened.

Rape is actually pretty straightforward in the US, the woman wins.

Step 1: Have consensual sex with a guy

Step 2: Feelings of regret for having casual sex start to creep in, there has to be a way to make someone else pay!

Step 3: Accuse said guy of rape after a long enough period of time has passed that no hard evidence (i.e. rape kit) would ever possibly be obtained

Step 4: Quiver lips and turn on the waterworks when the right people are looking

Step 5: Congratulations! You're a cunt who has successfully ruined an innocent guy's life because she couldn't keep her legs shut!

HD webcams can be had for $30, and software to write video to the hard drive upon detection of motion is free (iSpy Connect). We also have smartphones equipped with HD cameras and microphones.

I'd like to start reading about guys who flip the tables on these bitches with some evidence to back them. At this point, if you get fucked by a woman and a college kangaroo court, it's your own damn fault.

[–]Strike48 9 points9 points [recovered] | Copy

Love my ispy and eventghost burglar webcam setup. That shit sends me texts message pictures at motion detection and starts recording automatically as soon as it detects movement. Setting it up in the bedroom may not be the worst idea along with a microphone taped somewhere. Also, ever since about a year back when I started reading about the many ridiculous rape claims, I've made it a habit to take a pause before any action and enable the voice recorder on my phone. It only takes 3 seconds and doesn't ruin the moment so it's great. I have a 128gb microsd so I can record audio for fucking days and not be bothered. I'll never buy a phone that doesn't have external sd capability at this point. It eases my mind to be able to have some sort of protection. The condom alone is not enough anymore fellas. It's sad that men are treated as potential rapists and I feel annoyed that I have to take these extra precautions as if I was a rapist, but sadly that's how I'll be painted by society. A "potential rapist" that needs to record his sexual encounters to remain free of bullshit.

I wonder what the feminists will dream up once men get reliably good at using video evidence to disprove bullshit allegations against them. They'll probably bitch that using cameras in university-owned dormitories is a violation of privacy or some such bullshit, if it isn't already prohibited.

Why haven't we replaced them with fembots yet? Honest question.

[–]Gorech1ld3 points4 points  (2 children) | Copy

100% honest? Super cereal?

Well I believe fembots are still being worked on. They're trying to make it so that it no longer has that uncanny valley feeling whenever you look at them.

Also, they can never fully replace women as long as we have not perfected the artificial womb and are able to place it into the fembots.

Personally, I really wish that every single men realized that most women suck and that they need to be replaced, and fully supported the creation and perfecting of the fembots. If every man on Earth got together and decided to replace women with fembots, I feel like it could be done possibly by the end of next year. I know it sounds impossible for it to be done in such a short time, but you gotta understand, most of what men do is just to get women. Even here on TRP, a lot of discussion is about what one can do to attract women. If men really thought that this fembot stuff could snag them the absolute literal flawless perfect 10/10, and put all their work into this, it could be done in such a fast time because of simply "MUH DICK".

Unfortunately, what'll likely happen is that women will eventually realize the threat of fembots and will go full retard over it, trying to do everything they can to ban them and stop any sort of progress in making them. The men in power will act like beta faggots and do as they wish because we live in a fucked up gynocentric society where men screw other men over just to possibly sate the insatiable women. Most women can't stand the average man, but they certainly can't stand the idea that the average man will replace them with something better. Just look at their reactions to men getting onaholes or sex dolls. They never like it when men fuck with Onaholes even though women brag about their dildos which is essentially the opposite of an onahole.

[–]jcrpta2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy

They'll be banned.

There's already been talk about devising a set of "rules" regarding what a robot can or cannot be designed to do, and I bet you anything you like that sex will go on the list of "things it cannot do" the minute some factory in China announces availability.

Ever notice when a cute college girl goes missing its all over the news, a guy he had better be an Adonis or from a very prominent family or the cops will spend about 48-72 hours on that case before it goes back into the pile cases. Cute college girl goes missing, that case stays front and center for far longer.

A lawyer was here recently talking about this. The law does give you fair protection, but you can't afford it. You may get acquitted, but only if you bankrupt yourself.

And just the accusation is enough to damage your reputation forever.

[–]stawek72 points73 points  (44 children) | Copy

It is not tricky in other cultures.

Muslims do not allow their women to be with a man alone. If she choses to be one on one with a man she consents. Simple as that.

What is happening in US is a process that is simplifying the law in the other direction: "if a man agrees to be one on one with a woman, he is sure about her consent. Simply being alone with a woman without her consent is equal to rape".

Make no mistake about this. This is basically turning most men into pariahs who will police themselves into never being with a woman. Mgtows are not the heroes, they are the first to conform, pay their taxes and leave the fucking to their betters.

[–]Senior ContributorSkorchZang20 points21 points  (0 children) | Copy

[–]cariboo_j97 points98 points 2 (26 children) | Copy

bah. I don't call myself a mgtow but I listen to a lot of Stardusk and Barbarossa.

They're far more unplugged than this sub.

Defining your worth through impressing women into sleeping with you is a form of being plugged in. TRP definitely has a PUA/Traditionalist streak which defines masculinity through men's usefulness to women. Not through beta provision but how well they can stimulate the tingles and "be the captain". That is a form of utility.

Being "alpha" is still conforming to the preferences of women.

TRP spends so much time saying shit like "women are illogical, disregard their opinions, etc" but the bottom line is TRP still firmly believes a man's worth is measured by how attractive they are in the eyes of women (aka giving credence to their opinion).

The intelligent mgtows like Stardusk, Barbarossa, Colttaine, Niko Choski don't think avoiding sex with women is some achievement in itself. Some of them still engage in dating.

They just think there are metrics of worth and personal happiness other than fucking lots of women, and I'd agree with them.

Your reproductive drive is an impersonal force programmed into your brain by evolution. When you make it the centre of your identity you allow your instincts to control you.

TRP is a paradox: Stop giving a fuck and women will come to you. Project an air of alphaness and superiority and women will come to you. Acquire muscles and money, learn to be a leader and her emotional rock (all of which are objectively useful to female reproductive interests) and women will come to you. Be self interested (a trait which appeals to women, they want the alpha gametes in their uteri) and women will come to you. Oh and my favorite: be the perfect mix of alpha and beta to control her hypergamy yet make her feel comfortable, and she'll stay with you.

Once you do all that are you really not giving a fuck and self interested? Or are you still building your identity around what's attractive to women? Are you still jumping through hoops to get laid? To win the approval of women as a collective instead of just some individual woman?

Abundance mentality is better than oneitis, but it's still dependent on some woman somewhere finding you attractive.

[–]NecroticFury9 points10 points  (1 child) | Copy

Abundance mentality is better than oneitis, but it's still dependent on some woman somewhere finding you attractive.

Even if we were to disregard your points, this line hits home. This needs its own post.

[–][deleted] 27 points28 points  (2 children) | Copy

At its base, TRP is all about passive income of pussy vs. labor for pussy that most dudes engage in.

This makes sense, as almost no one ever becomes rich from earned income/income from labor.

TRP is about winning in the SMP. Not withdrawing from it like MGTOW.

If a dude can be content without pussy then go with god my son, MGTOW is for you.

However pretty much any dude I know who is on a bad dry spell is pretty miserable and begins acting strangely.

[–][deleted] 1 points1 points | Copy

[permanently deleted]

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points  (0 children) | Copy

Nah you've misunderstood a few things about TRP.

They're far more unplugged than this sub.

Definitely, it's two people vs a group consisting mainly of reforming betas.

masculinity through men's usefulness to women.

Not at all, masculinity here are the traditional roles and attitudes of men, nothing to do with women, well a bit maybe, but it's more to do with history and individual preference.

Being "alpha"

Yes because being alpha is inherently linked to having high SMV, which includes traits such as dominance and masculinity, but is ultimately how attractive you are to women.

a man's worth is measured by how attractive they are in the eyes of women

No not true, a man's worth is not his SMV, his SMV is his worth in the sexual market, but this has nothing to do with him as a person.

They just think there are metrics of worth and personal happiness

We agree, but this is discussion of male sexual strategy, we don't say women are the only measurement of happiness, we say if you want to have women, here's how.

Your reproductive drive is an impersonal force programmed into your brain by evolution.

We're evolutionary psychologists, we believe everything is an impersonal force programmed into our brains by evolution. Everything you do has been defined by your genes as a chemical reaction to external stimuli, free will as negative liberty does not exist.

TRP is a paradox:

Life is a paradox, because ideological purity does not exist, TRP are bound by the rules of the game so are MGTOW, MGTOW simply choose not to play, that in itself is a choice made of free will, but still within the confines of positive liberty.

Stop giving a fuck and women will come to you.

Misconception, this is tactics versus strategy, this isn't giving a fuck so much as it's abundance mentality which is tactics, the tactic is not give any fucks about any individual scenario, because it's just one of many. The strategy itself is to care and to improve your game if things don't go well.

Acquire muscles and money, learn to be a leader and her emotional rock (all of which are objectively useful to female reproductive interests) and

Actually we say this because we're somewhere in between PUA and MGTOW, you don't actually have to do any of that to get laid, you only need to learn game. But doing these are typically enjoyable to men as we inherently enjoy competition because of our lizard brain and they do boost SMV.

Oh and my favorite: be the perfect mix of alpha and beta to control her hypergamy yet make her feel comfortable, and she'll stay with you.

This is true because in works in individual cases, what happens is if a woman feels you are not committed to a relationship, she'll want look for someone who is, because her lizard brain is telling her she can't be responsible for 9 months of feeding herself while relatively immobile and then raising a child without a provider, which is right. This part of sexual strategy if you want a LTR, it has nothing to do with you as a person.

Abundance mentality is better than oneitis, but it's still dependent on some woman somewhere finding you attractive.

So what? It's male sexual strategy, besides we don't say abundance mentality is your worth as a person, we say if you want a successful sexual strategy abundance mentality is a part of this.

[–]stawek1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy

I am not saying that mgtow are bad in any way nor quetioning their intentions.

They think what they like, they can be unplugged more than trp, indeed.

However, my opinion stands: mgtows are conforming to and supporting the status quo. They stay away from women but still work on themselves and their wealth, meaning they pay lots of tax. Tax and big government is the root of the problem, women who want to keep away subpar men are part of the problem. This means mgtow do not hinder feminists in anyway, on the opposite they are the exact people feminists want to see in the future. "Pay tax, work for my benefits and don't cockblock my Chad you filthy omega"

Deconstructing Game and PUA

A Tale of Two Cities, or a Tale of Male Disposability

PUA Roissy on MGTOW

Are humans' mate selection preferences optimised for modernity

These aren't specifically referring to TRP subreddit but they have influenced my thought.

Basically traditional archetypes of masculinity have always been defined as what is useful to women. Whether it's alpha, beta or omega these are simply roles that males have filled in the sexual marketplace.

The idea of MGTOW is to break free of this paradigm and define one's self independent of what is useful to women.

That could mean dropping out of the game entirely or realizing that the rules are mostly arbitrary in the sense that our mating preferences were forged in a prehistoric environment which is no longer relevant and the rules of the sexual marketplace are mostly dictated by women since eggs are expensive and sperm is cheap. Yes, even "alphas" are subject to selection by women. They must prove their worthiness to be extended the Alpha Fux deal in the sexual contract.

Whichever path a man chooses is no better or worse, but the point is to realize that even if he is successful in getting women to offer him the Alpha Fux deal as opposed to the Beta Bux deal he is still a hamster running on a wheel.

I highly recommend watching the first two videos.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy

The idea of MGTOW is to break free of this paradigm and define one's self independent of what is useful to women.

Unless you are a bad mother fucker who lives off the land in Alaska, you cannot completely break free MGTOW style. Sure you aren't playing the dating game, you are still getting exploited and taken advantage of in other ways. The more beta you are in peoples eyes the more ripe for exploitation you are. TRP applies to more that dating.

[–]cariboo_j0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Yeah I think the whole "take initiative, be proactive, don't get sucked into other's frames, be mentally centered" part of TRP is great advice.

I'm just saying the PUA/Traditionalist streak in TRP is still plugged in because in order to be a player, or be the captain, you need to play a role that is useful to women and feeds into their hypergamy.

Just remember if you're passing shit tests left and right and have women lining up to date you... this is a pleasant distraction at best. Women are fickle and solipsistic and will never care about you outside of what you can do for them. Give their opinions exactly ZERO weight when assessing your self esteem. You're not necessarily a better man for meeting women's selfish criteria of what they want in a partner.

It's a subtle distinction, it's more about your own sense of self than any outward actions.

Someone could be following the alpha male ideal to a tee but still need the approval of women deep down, and thus feel empty and dissatisfied. Or someone could be living an ascetic mgtow ghost lifestyle, a total loser by traditional metrics of success, but feel 100% free and satisfied.

Game was the major cause of black on black violence in the hood

Hahaha, omfg white people, really? Really?

I take back what I said about them being unplugged, this guy has apparently never left his middle class neighbourhood.

Violence in the ghetto is as more or less what the majority of violence throughout history was about, economics. Poverty simply drives up the need to make cash, thus they do as men do, and take what they need, thus drug dealing, pimping and other forms of crime all escalate.

To actually think that all this violence in the ghetto is over game which is just a sideshow, not even exclusive to the ghetto, shows me how sour this guy is over the dating market.

[–]cariboo_j4 points5 points  (7 children) | Copy

Actually Barbarossa is black lol. Not that it should matter.

Even Thomas Sowell noted that welfare was primarily responsible for the breakdown of the black family unit and it's accompanying rise in crime and poverty. Rates of crime and children born out of wedlock skyrocketed after welfare reforms in the 1960's.

Men can't trade their resources for commitment sex so they use "game" instead.

It's a symptom, not a cause.

His point was that using game and PUA tactics is a symptom of a female dominated society where women have the upper hand in the SMP and do all of the sexual selection. Therefore game is gynocentric. Male vs male dominance hierarchy competition is gynocentric.

Again, this is only relevant to the PUA/Traditionalist streak I notice in TRP, not necessarily every single post ever on TRP.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (4 children) | Copy

Men can't trade their resources for sex so they use "game" instead.

Despite a ho on every street?

that welfare was primarily responsible for the breakdown of the black family unit and

Make that every family unit because women essentially marry the state, but this has nothing to do with game, that's modern politics.

Really we are talking men can't trade their resources for commitment, but game has always been in effect because at every level there is essentially a point where your resources don't differentiate you as a person, be it your high school or workplace both places with game, there will be a bunch of men with around the same level of resources to provide. Game did not originate in the ghetto, and the argument that welfare has caused it is fairly shortsighted in that it doesn't look into history, because in history there was game, furthermore before modern day politics until a woman got married she had no job, she would wait around at her parents until she got married and this in essence provides the same sort of economic safety net welfare does.

Yes game does pander to women to some extent, but ultimately it's male sexual strategy and is aimed at increasing the man's power in relationship. Furthermore game does trump resources, so even in situations where men compete through resources, game still occurs.

Ultimately game is an important part of male competition as it's a drive for what makes a successful mate, if you're going to claim it's unhealthy competition every competition is unhealthy especially economically because we should all get enough money to live on, but the world doesn't work like that.

So called patriarchal societies would pair off one man to one woman.

We see this in modern India and China where betabux behaviour is heavily rewarded. Women's families pair them off with hardworking NiceGuystm because it's better for social stability, even if they are unattractive dweebs that don't moisten any pussies.

The point of his video (how I interpret it anyways) is that guaranteed income for single mothers has distorted the sexual marketplace. They are free to pursue only Alpha Fux cads with no thought as to whether or not they will be good dads. Men in turn use game and PUA tactics in an effort to appeal to the baser elements of women's hypergamy.

The problem isn't game in itself but excessive amounts. Men are too busy being bad boy cads instead of hardworking beta providers.

This problem isn't unique to the African American community, rates of single motherhood are rising in all ethnicities. It just happened in the African American community first because they were poorer and therefore received more welfare.

Basically he's saying that when women are given free reign in partner selection they will go for the bad boy cads, men will respond to this and stop producing wealth and inventing shit.

In the larger context of his work, this isn't a call back to traditional gender roles but merely an observation. The conclusion is that excessive amounts of game is a sign that women's hypergamy is running the show.

In today's marriage climate men have to spend a lot more time pandering to and managing women's hypergamy because they hold more power in the marriage contract.

The question is do you want to spend all that time and effort managing what is essentially an irrational, short term oriented impulse? Another way of putting it would be is successfully manipulating women's hypergamy (which TRP is essentially a manual for) the pinnacle of manliness that we should build our identities around?

Society is made up of men and women. You cannot completely go mgtow and get away with it unless others see you as "worthy" someway. Your boss, coworkers or employees may be female. If you aren't "worthy" others will exploit you for resources, anything from scams to welfare taxes.

[–]cariboo_j0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Sure, don't let people take advantage of you.

My point is you don't have to be constantly approaching and spinning plates in a compulsive fashion.

Don't pat yourself on the back too hard for passing shit tests either.

If you get too much of an ego boost from pandering to women's hypergamy, you're playing the game by their rules.

So how do you get proof of her consent - and keep it - ie, even during sex, doing something she might feel uncomfortable about (say anal), that she later hamsters into rape?

Maybe she should bring a wing-woman, to remain present during the act, as a witness....

The standard of evidence needed to clear your name vs the standard of evidence needed to convict you in a court of law is different.

However, in a court of actual law, none of these cases get anywhere (usually). It's the bullshit Title IX (guilty till proven innocent) cases in universities that are the problem at the moment.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Bingo. Unfortunately these kangaroo courts can destroy you economically by destroying your reputation. That bad rep blocks access to college or post college jobs.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

I wouldn't worry about it, the threat of exposure would give you huge leverage. The court doesn't like being discredited in eyes of public, and the accuser doesn't want to see her lying ass online for all her Facebook friends to see.

[–]NecroticFury0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

yes you can only record evidence so that her word is countered. A female word is valued as evidence in court.

Muslims do not allow their women to be with a man alone. If she choses to be one on one with a man she consents. Simple as that.

So help me understand (gonna use hypothetical ) so I bring a date home for a magical evening, have sexy time we part ways. For a/b reason she regrets it, doesn't pan out. She never withdrew consent in person but after she leaves she can still call rape?

[–]BridgetheDivide4 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy

If you're using a condom make sure you have her put it on you so her fingerprints will be on it. Don't be afraid to have a lot of foreplay, just rub yout cock against her slit and ask her "are you ready?" In no uncertain terms and rock her world. Unless her friends and social circle find out, the only kind of sex a girl regrets is the bad kind. If you are letting her stay over or you're staying over make her a quick breakfast and then leave. You don't want her feeling like a number. Even Mike Tyson said if her had just called girls back or taken them out for breakfast he would not have gone to jail. If you have to leave (or just want to) just text her "I had a good time last night" unless you were lame she will likely respond "I did too! We should try it again sometime..." A little vulnerability will save you plenty of headache later. And SAVE THE TEXTS. There are plenty of apps that archive your texts. As has been mentioned there are a few cheap hd audio cameras you can get online. If you still feel at risk. And I don't know you can have your lawyer draw up a consent contract or castrate yourself and go to a monastery or something. Don't let fear prevent you from taking action. Just protect yourself.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

As far as title IX is concerned you committed rape and no you cannot have a lawyer present at your hearing. Denial proves guilt.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (2 children) | Copy

Depends on what country you're in, for example the exact same scenario you're describing is how they got Assange in Sweden. Naturally in Sweden they have feminist rape laws, which is why they have such high rates of "rape",it's not actually immigrants, it's feminists because unwanted advances also count as rape.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (1 child) | Copy

it's not actually immigrants

The number of women hospitalized from their "not a rape" with immigrants would beg to differ.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

I didn't say immigrants don't commit crime or aren't more likely to commit crime, I said the reported rape rates in Sweden are so high because sexual assault to the level of unwanted advances are considered rape, not because of immigrants. The actual rates in Sweden are impossible to measure due to the loose definition of rape.

Something similar happened to a friend while I was working out West. My buddy was black out drunk/high for his first time and a girl messed around with him in his room. Then the next day she was telling everyone that she felt bad for doing it/taking advantage of him. and my friend barely remembered so we basically had to sit him down and tell him about it and he was clearly embarrassed and didn't want to talk about it. (It's also worth mentioning this girl was basically our supervisor) So now that she spread the word herself cause she felt bad, everyone's kinda thinking "wow how shitty what a slut" but my buddy was too ashamed to even talk about it. But one day soon after she finds him at work and confronts him and yells at him saying "Why are you telling everyone I'm a slut?!" And he's like "I didn't ..." Because he really didn't. She eventually got the cops involved I'm not sure how or why because he didn't do anything to her but they were asking to talk to him and we figured she was gonna try and flip it and say he took advantage of her. So me and my buddy also talked to the cops and tried to clear his name. In the end, you know what the cops did? They gave my buddy a choice of continually working with her as his supervisor, working at a different part of the park, or quitting. How shitty. Turns out later we found out she was like a snitch for the cops and was ratting on people the entire time, probably why nothing happened to her...

[–]1mr_nate_2 points3 points  (4 children) | Copy

This is fucking insane. I always think the cops will look at the circumstances, especially when you guys are trying to explain what really happened, and reasonably tell the girl to fuck off — but that's obviously not the case.

[–]MuchmaQuchi6 points7 points  (3 children) | Copy

Dude honestly, this all happened when I was working out in Yellowstone National Park and all this crazy shit happened out there with the Rangers/Cops. You could just write me off as exaggerating but I'm the type of person who gives the cops the benefit of the doubt. They didn't take the situation seriously at ALL. They only focused on arresting people. They arrested/charged about 1/3 of the room attendant crew I was working on. I kid you not. They would spy on people through their windows in the dorms and catch under age drinkers, even in girls rooms with them being guy cops! And charged people with stuff. They say outside their rooms with breathalyzers. So many things happened out there I wouldn't know where to begin. I was just flabbergasted by the what the "Law" was doing.

[–]1mr_nate_-1 points0 points  (2 children) | Copy

Not really. In court, he would never have been convicted - wouldn't even have gone to trial. By law, he was raped if anything.

US law is actually fairly reasonable about rape, although the process may not always be. In my state, you can't be convicted of rape if you had a reasonable expectation of consent, for example (it doesn't have to be verbal, and it doesn't matter if she withdraws it unless she communicates that withdrawal).

This article is about a campus disciplinary action, not a court. It's an important distinction.

Remindes me of a Married with Children episode where someone breaks into the Bundy's house and Al, asleep on the couch, reaches out and grabs the robber's butt as he's bent over in front of him stealing crap off his table. The thief then takes him to court for sexual harassment, despite robbing him. As I recall, the episode ended with Al punching the dude in the face in court and as the credits roll, he declares that the court system "Finally worked out for me, because I sued that guy for hurting my fist on his face."

Anyway that's fucked up. This can't last forever. Things always have a way of evening out. Unfortunately, sometimes it takes a war to do that, ahah...

[–]dingman5843 points44 points  (14 children) | Copy

To be fair, there is a lawsuit against the rape accuser and the case is quite strong. Did you guys even read the article? Quoting The Washington Examiner’s Ashe Schow:

"This is one of the few cases where we have an actually good idea of what happened the night in question. Doe accompanied the accuser (who was Doe's girlfriend's roommate) to her dorm room. The accuser performed oral sex on a blacked out Doe (Johnson notes that even the Amherst hearing found Doe's account of being blacked out "credible"). Doe leaves. The accuser then texted two people: First, a male student she had a crush on — whom she invited over after a heavily flirtatious exchange earlier in the evening. Then, a female friend.

The accuser said during her hearing that she only texted one friend to help her handle the assault as she felt "very alone and confused." But her texts with her female friend give no indication of an assault. Rather, the accuser texted her friend "Ohmygod I jus did something so fuckig stupid" [sic throughout]. She then proceeded to fret that she had done something wrong and her roommate would never talk to her again, because "it's pretty obvi I wasn't an innocent bystander."

She also complained that the other man, who had come over after the alleged assault, had taken until 5 in the morning to finally have sex with her.

The accuser found herself friendless after the encounter, when her roommate discovered what she had done.

Between the encounter with Doe and the accusation — nearly two years later — the accuser developed new friends. And as it happens, these new friends were all "victims' advocates."

So it's not all doom and gloom here

[–]1thiasus77 points78 points  (9 children) | Copy

Did you guys even read the article?

So it's not all doom and gloom here

I'll return the question to you, did you even read the article? The guy was thrown out of college over a completely ridiculous accusation when he was the obvious victim if there was one. He lost money there, most likely reputation, and now has to pony up for lawyers to try to get compensation from the accuser, who has so far gotten away with everything except losing a few friends. He might see compensation enough to pay his lawyers and have a meaningful sum left over, or he might not.

He wasn't castrated on her word, no, but he suffered severe consequences over an accusation so ridiculous as to boggle the mind. Whether you consider that doom and gloom is up to you; personally, I decidedly would not want to be going through American university right now.

[–]dingman5820 points21 points  (5 children) | Copy

Yes and having attended UMass Amherst right down the road from Amherst college, I am intimately familiar with this incident and the fallout the guy faced.

You are correct that it's fucked this guy got kicked out of school and had to go through all of this, but there is some sense of reason and justice coming. The real travesty is that this is an unusual case in that there is clear evidence the guy was innocent. Most cases of false accusation are unfortunately lacking any supporting evidence on either side and too often women are believed over the men "because equality" or some hogwash.

[–]Magnum25613 points14 points  (3 children) | Copy

I guess the real question is why the guy got fucked around in the first place. Even if he wins a suit against her and gets some kind of cash payout I doubt it would compensate him for the blow to his reputation and having to deal with getting kicked out of college for a sex crime, shit he could win $100-200k and I'd still call that a bad deal for him.

Point is the laws (and society) have to change, the courts can't be so quick to condemn someone when there's reasonable doubt involved and this whole concept that it's cool or trendy to be a victim and how these girls who make up stories or misconstrue the facts are validated into thinking they're helping feminism needs to stop.

edit: I honestly pray for the day where we have some kind of widely used lie-detector type device that's admissible in court to settle this kind of shit; hook person A and person B up to the machine, have them speak (or think, depending on the technology) their piece, and presto you've got an automatic Minority Report style verdict, no lawyers, no jury, just the objective truth.

It wouldn't work. You don't have to lie to tell a falsehood. Also, women are hard wired to believe their own bullshit. After 2 years of telling herself that he raped her, I have no doubt that she actually believes it.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Even if he wins, she may not have any money to go after. Blood from a stone type of thing. His best bet to collect anything at all is to go after the university, deeper pockets.

[–]Statecensor12 points13 points  (2 children) | Copy

Big deal he is suing the woman who lied about him raping her. She is still a college student far as we know. That means that she is most likely completely penniless with nothing for him to sue her for. The people with the big pockets would be the university itself not the student. So even if he wins the case against her its not like he will get jack shit from someone without a job and in debt.

[–]NecroticFury0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

Its as simple as suing the school as well for conspiring with this woman, and its proven by how swiftly he was dealt with.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

A school has deep pockets and tie this up for decades. The school has a lot of incentive to keep Title IX money flowing, so you get the kangaroo courts. The cost, the sacrifice of a few privileged male college students no one likes anyway.

so basically this case is a good illustration of what legal experts have been saying which is that rape is a serious crime that should be tried in a court using the presumption of innocence standard.

Using any reputable law firm is cost-prohibitive for most. Associates start around $300 an hour and partners could be in the higher end at $800ish.

The point of my comment is to focus on winning and working with the best. Could I have hired someone cheaper. Yes. Hiring the best is another question.

Personally, I feel this ties to lack of abundance mentality. It's a freak out at the price tag and not focusing on value. The cost of losing that case would have been drastically more.

I find the best way to win, is not to play. I HATE court. I really don't like lawyers that much either. My family has a one on retainer, and I use him as little as humanly possible. And yeah, he is expensive as fuck. Win or lose.

I'm not suggesting to not use the absolute best. Fuck yes, you want winners in your corner. All winners do. I just prefer to stay as far removed from the legal system as I can. The only "winners" there are the attorneys.

Sigh, I'll say it again: Leave America.

You can study elsewhere for pennies on the dollar compared to the US, and since most employers don't really give a shit where your degree comes from, it's not going to hinder you. Study abroad and learn another language, you'll be more valuable in the working world if you come back to the US, and more valuable everywhere else anyway.

You'll spend less, have more free money (even if you earn less than you would have in the states), and best of all no anti-male bullshit.

What planet do you live on that you think this an option for most people? If you already have the money to just pick up and decide to move to another continent then college fees probably aren't that big a worry to you.

I like your little passive aggressive "sigh", as if this is wisdom that people are simply to stupid to understand.

This is my impression of you:

"Sigh, I'll say it again: Invest money you don't have on options you also don't have. Why is this so hard for you to do?"

How about helping out with ideas that don't presuppose you already have thousands in savings just waiting to be spent.

Edit: I didn't mean to come across so self righteous and I apologize for that. If you do have the money it could very well be a great idea to do what steelerfaninperu suggests.

[–]Veqq1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

It's a lot cheaper and easier than staying. My last ticket to the US (for this Christmas) cost $200. My monthly living expenses cost a little more than that abroad, for that matter.

[–]steelerfaninperu0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

I spent approximately $3000 to move to Peru. That was enough to cover a one way flight ($700 with extra bags) and four month's rent ($500) plus living expenses ($1200) and a little extra for incidentals.

I could have gotten a job right away but took a few months to see the country. I got a job immediately after I started looking and was earning about $800 a month with expenses around $500.

It's not that hard if you do it right.

Edit: I'm not saying you need to leave right this instant, but just about everyone reading this can save up $3k in a few years and do it. Granted, some people can't because they're already tied down, but this was a post about college. If you're old enough to consider college, you're old enough to live at home, save up $3k in less than a year, learn another language, and move to another country.

Consider the audience I had in mind when stating this. It's not a blanket statement.

[–]morphite650 points1 point  (4 children) | Copy

slightly relevant, but are you in Peru? if so how is the sociopolitical climate there?

[–]steelerfaninperu3 points4 points  (3 children) | Copy

Been living there since 2009.

Economically it's American neoliberalism with more restrictions that are less enforced, which means it's caked in bureaucracy, but it has a certain flexibility . In practical terms, it means that a white skinned native-English speaker can get hired at a great place without a degree, even though he had to turn in all kinds of paperwork just to get hired.

One over-arching rule applies to everything: Justice goes to the highest bidder. If you get screwed out of a paycheck, you'd better hope you have the time/resources to bribe someone to care. If someone robs you in the street you'll never see your stuff again, the police barely bat an eyelash. Fortunately those problems occur infrequently to people in the mid-upper classes.

Socially speaking it's Catholic, but only on the surface and most people don't care. Individualism is less important than family, and men dominate. Women are content with having kids and staying home with them, although the higher cost of the city and lower cost of labor means that your woman can go to work, earn $1000 a month, give $300 of that to a nanny, and your kid has full time care while you earn some gravy.

Whereas in America we have a catch-22 situation for women: You can have a career, or a kid, but not really both at the same time. You'll have to sit out for a while when you have your child. In Peru they can have both.

Also, women never fuck men over. Virtually all the lawyers and judges are men, if a woman even tried she'd get laughed out of court. Child support is non-existent. Even if a woman presented a good case, the richer man could easily bribe it out of the courts.

There is no politically correct culture, which is awesome. You see a black guy, you call him "negro". It's perfectly fine.

Biggest downside is that people are uneducated, over half haven't finished school. That's getting better, but poor migrants from the mountains come to cities and have no idea how to behave properly in an urban setting, and so we have a vicious cycle of shitty behavior that has yet to be corrected. Piles of trash in streets, the worst driving you'll ever see, a general "fuck you, all about me" attitude.

So the educated/well behaved segregate themselves in better communities and live happily ever after while the rest try to figure it out.

Sorry for the long post. There's a lot that can be said. But if you're an intelligent educated American you'll come down here and be better than about 90% of the population at what you do.

[–]morphite650 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Thanks for the info, much appreciated. My dad was born in Peru and I wondered what it was like today.

[–]break_main-1 points0 points  (1 child) | Copy

Wow. While there are a lot of reasons i would love to visit peru, you make it sound awful. Bribery, bureaucracy, uneducated people, everyone is Catholic, no child support or protection for women...

You sound like you would really enjoy Saudi Arabia, like "Guess what guys! Women can't accuse you of rape unless there were four witnesses! Its open season boys!"

[–]steelerfaninperu-1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy

Oh fuck you. I gave a general overview of the country, but I live extremely well here. Like I'm in the top quintile of income and live in one of the top 5 neighborhoods. I avoid those problems for the most part. I'm not here because of women, I'm here because it's the best thing for me. I live better here than I would in the states, not having to deal with SJW bullshit is just icing on the cake.

And the "no protection for women..." apparently you didn't read. I only mentioned that they can't fuck men over in court or elsewhere with bullshit lawsuits like they do in the states. False accusations never happen here.

Women get 4 months' paid maternity leave, the government pays you to feed the kid for the first year, and we have universal health care to boot. They're in better shape than in the US in those categories.

stories like these make me think MGTOW..

[–]improvingme638 points9 points  (2 children) | Copy

Certainly gives the MGTOW boys more reason to go that way.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

Not trying to be a contrarian pest; but even if you go MGTOW a woman's fabicrated story + tears = she must be telling the truth in the eyes of A LOT of idiots out there.

[–]2CHAD_J_THUNDERCOCK1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

You cant avoid all risks. You might get hit by a bus as well, thats not a reason to avoid leaving the house. Just minimise risks as best you can and find ways to videotape everything.

[–]A419a0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Even MGTOW isn't perfect because she can still accuse you and it is guilty til proven innocent.

[–]NecroticFury0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

She can rape you any time of the day, and she's still the victim.

[–]metalhead41 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy

I fucked my girlfriend the other night after she came to my house all drunk from the bar. I was down to just sleep but she was horny so she convinced me to have sex with her. In the morning she hardly even remembered having sex with me and we went at it for like 45 minutes. She wanted it. She instigated it. She doesn't have any regrets about it. She said she kind of remembers getting screwed doggy and sucking my dick at the start. But did I technically rape her because I was sober? No. I didn't. She had sex with me.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Technically you did rape her, she was drunk and couldn't consent. Fortunately for you she got what she wanted and left it at that. Not white knighting that's the way a DA could see it and sway a jury.

Let's take a step back for a second and look at this.

This is college court. The college legal system is very different from real life. Don't think for a second this guy is now a sex offender, and his life is ruined. Colleges are allowed to do whatever they want in these situations, and they are allowed to kick you off campus based on accusations.

In actual court, ie real life. This will never hold in a courtroom. The burden of proof is placed on the plaintiff. In real life he does not have to prove his innocence, but she has to prove his guilt. If you are accused of murder, you do not have to appear in front of the judge and prove to him you didn't murder the person. The prosecutor will try to prove you did. If a prosecutor doesn't do a good job, and you say nothing you are fine.

This PSA only applies to college students. Don't think for a second this guy was found guilty in an actual courtroom.

tl;dr - college courtrooms do not have to follow due process. They do whatever the fuck they want. (It's messed up, but it's not real court)

Why am I credible? - I study law, my mom is a lawyer. It's safe to assume I know the basics of law.

Yup its a college court. How ever these cases follow you around and can effectively black list someone. Especially if it hits social media or someone informs your new school of your prior proceedings and you become persona nongrata there too. Many job applications require background checks if you don't consent to records release you ain't getting the job. Many law and other post graduate school applications require some disclosure of your full academic record including judicial proceedings. google Cornel disciplinary record. Yup your economic life pretty well fucked.

[–]anooblol0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

This is very true, but I'm just pointing out the fact that he is not a registered sex offender.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

No sense complaining how unfair this is. You are a male in college part of the elite, the only place you will find sympathy is in the dictionary somewhere between shit and syphilis. No one cares and The University wants to maintain title IX money and keep SJW protests to a minimum.

What do you do 1) Don't shit where you eat. Even chads had better follow this dictate. A girl from another school will have a harder time engaging your schools kangaroo court. Lie about where you go to school, you real name, your work etc... 2) Always fly with a wingman. Wigman's job is not to just help you get laid, he is there to keep you being stupid. Reciprocate with your wingman. 3) Don't get plastered, obviously a sober woman can withdraw her consent while you are blacked out, oops you just raped her. 4) Don't fuck drunk chicks, drunk as defined by the legal limit. If she's drunk get her friends to take her home or kidnapping gets added to the charges.
5) Lawyer up. 6) Gather allies, you ain't the first, there are others that have been ruined. Prime fodder for a class action. Somebody's rights got violated in these kangaroo courts, it can lead to big bucks.

[–]Azothlike1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

College assessment =/= being found guilty.

College is not law. Don't use legal terms when talking about campus nonsense, it's alarmist.

If a college fucks you over, take them to court for it. People are winning.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (3 children) | Copy

I think the real lesson learned is don't put your dick in crazy and lock your doors.

Try applying a more practical approach instead of the MRAone and coming across as angry. What's the solution? Stop having sex? I'm not condoning the laws, but practically all you can do is take the right precautions and if it happens, it happens.

It passes. At some point, these stories no longer enrage because they're so damned common. These days, my thoughts drift towards how to remedy the situation. I'm currently researching what it takes to get on a college's board of trustees. Get enough Red Pill people on enough boards and this shit stops.

Try to keep a separation in my mind between individual women and the institutional biases women receive. You can hate the system, a giant unfeeling machine perpetuated by men and women, without hating women.

I do find myself biased against women who are obviously radical feminists because they actively seek to maintain and expand the fucked up things we see in society today, but I don't think that's the same thing as anger phase and even think that it shouldn't be moved past.

[–]Mudane1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

When sex dolls become a common thing in male households. It may become the only option many men will have.

The women will fuck their dildos and virbators and men will fuck silicone vaginas.

Sex will become one of those things that will only women will be allowed to initiate with a heavy price on the man.

Every so often you read a news story so outlandish that you're wondering if you're being trolled. A passed-out dude thrown off of campus for rape for receiving a blowjob? And the accuser being the accused's girlfriend's friend, who reported the incident to cover up for creeping on her friend's man?

Please tell me this is some elaborate MRA troll. You couldn't write the details better if you tried. There's something to be said about a story being too perfect.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Get text messages after the fact?

How will this help exactly? this might help you if you are Arrested for rape

But in this instance he was found guilty by the kangaroo court because there was a 50.01% or more chance that he could not prove that he obtained affirmative consent beforehand. Admitting you were black out drunk is as good as admitting it in this situation basically.

People mentioning cameras etc. I believe that's what this guy did. The news have spun it with the rich money angle got him off and everyone is going nuts, but when you read the article it says: He was cleared after the judged allowed him to show evidence in private to the jury, and they took 20 mins to clear him.

His story to the police was cocky " I must have tripped and fucked her" that's what everyone is using. But in reality his story to the jury, and what they took only 20 mins to believe, was that he fucked her friend and she was in another room he went to talk to her and she tried pulling him into her etc and then she cried rape because he rejected her

There isn't really much more to say about this.

Yes there is. This entire post is fear-mongering. You also failed to provide actual lessons learned to ease the naive among us.

Lessons learned:

  • Ghost tactics. Give no bitch your real name, real address or real phone number.

  • Record everything. Audio and visual.

  • Texting. Reassure her that everything was good, and if she responds positively, good news. If she doesn't respond, you better have followed the ghost tactics.

  • Lawyer up. Have someone offer you advice, just in case you get some officer talking to you. A nice way to tell him to get lost is by saying you can talk to my lawyer.

That title IS hyperbole. Being found guilty by a university of violating their rules is not the same as being found guilty in a court of law and being sentenced to prison. Sure it's messed up, but this has nothing to do with the law, so using the word guilty is misleading.

All due respect, the source is a blog post written in June. Not exactly a reliable source of information.

Daily Caller, July

Campus Reform,June

In all honesty, it's not as bad as OP makes it out to be. The Amherst was basically put under enormous pressure from "groups" (they never specified what groups, but I'll presume it's feminist groups) to protect their female students from sexual assault, because apparently they never did a very good job of it. This John Doe was a sacrificial lamb to get the "groups" off their asses.

John Doe didn't really get it that bad though. He's suing the school for mistrial, and given that he has text messages as evidence to prove his innocence, I suspect that he'd win.

Edit: I'm not sure if this is the same case... but looks this "John Doe" is fucked even if he wins. Fuck.

New source

It is every bit as bad in the U.S. as it was in Stalin's court's or Kim Jong Un's Star Chamber courts.

BTW: There are HUNDREDS of "Sexual Assualt Coordinator" positions open on college campuses all across the country. Hundreds and Hundreds of FULL PROFESSOR jobs go to these people with M.S. Degrees in "Gender Studies."

These are Star Chambers in every sense of the word. Future generations will look back and be amazed at our insanity in the same way we look back at Salem, amazed that anybody would believe in witches.

This is nitpicking, but it seems he was expelled from his school for "college rape" and not convicted or found guilty of rape in a courtroom (so he's not incarcerated at least). Doesn't make it less wrong but it does make his situation somewhat less dire.

I'm very glad to know he's suing the school. That shit needs to be challenged. Shit, he should formally accuse her of rape. Fuck her.

I'd like to know the guy's name.

Sharia law doesn't look so bad now, does it?

Men have authority over women by [right of] what Allah has given one over the other and what they spend [for maintenance] from their wealth. So righteous women are devoutly obedient, guarding in [the husband's] absence what Allah would have them guard. But those [wives] from whom you fear arrogance - [first] advise them; [then if they persist], forsake them in bed; and [finally], strike them*. But if they obey you [once more], seek no means against them. Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted and Grand.

- translated by Abdullah Yusuf Ali

Feminists and Jews love lying so much they seem one and the same, I wonder why?

  • Check out the changes in the history of the page and notice how "The Wikipedia Jews" have changed translator after translator, then they have even deliberately changed the quote of the last translator, from "beat them" to "strike them" and many others lies. All to make Islam look like a peaceful, almost feminist religion. Funny thing the version in Wikisource by the same translator is left intact, they forgot that one, so you can see the differences.

These are horrible stories but fear mongering isn't gonna stop me from getting a blowjob. I just got one like 1hr ago. It's good to be aware, but trp is basically becoming "don't have sex" thread. If that's where we are headed and the movement is justified I'm all for it but these fear mongering posts are getting old.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
