The world is scared of men congregating. Red Pill state of affairs 2016

Just days until the infamous Roosh V meetup day, ROK announces that plans have been cancelled for the safety and privacy of members. It's incredible, the media storm that he was able to create. (Side note: there are many who plan to go to the meetings anyhow, and are making arrangements via PM)

I really can't fault him for the play that he made. Some clever statements about rape that could be played off with the plausible deniability of satire, but gaining international attention on the sound bites. He was able to scare feminists and women in every major city, convincing them that big, bad rapists were coming to town to meet, plot and fester in the underbellies of their streets.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least if he said this was his plan all along, to get the attention and then cancel. If there's one thing Roosh is good at, it's harnessing the power of the media.

Regardless of the bad rap he has on TRP, I respect him for his work and his strategy with his brand. I can't say we see eye-to-eye, especially on this thoughts of my subreddit, but that doesn't mean I can't respect his strategy and wit. For the Machiavellian among us who see his ends, we could easily take a page out of his book of means.

The subtext of this battle isn't about rape, or the feminist continued narrative that it's the biggest issue facing women today. The real battle is about men who do not seek the approval of feminism, meeting and discussing information that acts as a key to escaping the power feminism holds over them. The very subject of rape is not only a great marketing gimmick, but acts as a badge that says "your system has no sway on me." They identify as the worst thing feminism knows to demonstrate how little they care about it. Like gays owning 'fag,' when society loses control of a group of men via shame, that group of men gains power.

But when gays get together and talk, they talk about equality in marriage. When men get together and talk, they talk about revolution. And that scares women. It scares them because they know, unlike their sisters, men are capable of actually doing something. Every revolution in history, every war and battle known to man was decided and fought by men who congregated.

This is the real threat that TRP poses to society. It is not that we are truly misogynistic, or that we actually support rape. It's not that we're hateful, or that we are potentially abusers.

No, if you listen to each of these complaints against who we are, you will realize quickly that we are not the intended audience for these accusations. Many here participate on a subreddit dedicated to the supposed "rational" debate of these very accusations. (purplepilldebate) To argue it misses the point entirely.

There is no merit to the claims because the claims themselves are intended to shame, to ostracize, and to scare red pillers into conformity. They don't exist because of a logical, thought-out, idealistic disagreement.

The red pill gives a notion of powerlessness to society and the feminine culture. It represents men congregating, plotting, and discussing how to break free of the power over us, to steer our lives how we see fit, and eventually identify as those who are unable to be controlled.

And while we may not be starting a revolution in a classical sense, we are starting a revolution of culture that gives the middle finger to responsibilities traditionally shouldered by men. The number one responsibility having been the well-being of women.

The State of the Subreddit 2016

I realize I'm a bit late with my address to the forum, January came and went. But there's good reason I've been delayed. We've been putting together some massive new plans for TRP that will give us the proper protection we need to ensure the future of our brotherhood.

As I've mentioned, the congregation of men is the biggest threat to feminism (and by extension culture at large), and that makes us a target. We've known we were a target since the inception of the sub, and have only become more aware of this as we gained popularity.

As a target, there are a few problems we face.

  • Trolling has gotten more intense. We've been working harder than usual to stem the trolls, as many of you may have noticed by some of our recent sticky posts, we've had to put together some clever solutions to root them out. We remain steadfast on our policy on trolls, and I'm happy to report that I believe we're doing quite well at keeping their exposure to the sub minimal.

  • Concern trolling has gotten more intense. These guys are a little trickier, because they pose as well-meaning individuals who just want what's best for TRP. They mention that they feel certain qualities are missing from posts, or that moderator actions seem heavy handed and that we should be more transparent for the good of the community. Make no mistake, we will not be letting up, not an inch. The people who liken us to Hitler or claim that our moderation is akin to censorship are nothing but concern trolls. They seek to derail discussion and attempt to make enemies of the volunteer staff rather than help curb the problems the mods are attempting to fix. It is entirely clear to me that these people are here to destroy discussion, and as such will continued to be banned with prejudice.

  • Our future on reddit is unknown. This is probably the biggest variable we've faced since the beginning. With each new round of subreddit banning, the question is raised, will TRP survive this time? The call for our removal is omnipresent in any admin thread, and the justification for it seems undeniable given the social climate. So how long do we have, and what are our options?

Some here may have already know that I've been hard at work ensuring that TRP has a future and that our legacy will not be lost in the annals of reddit history. So we set out to solve a few fundamental issues.

  1. The content, the posts, and conversations taking place here are priceless and should not be lost.
  2. There are very few places for red pill men to socialize openly, without fear of retribution.
  3. There is an enforced signal to noise ratio on our forum as we have strict rules to keep discussion on topic. Unfortunately this cuts down on possible socialization between members who simply want to catch up with each other's progress.
  4. There is no room on the forum for smaller, albeit interesting, pieces of information that are relevant but not necessarily ground breaking.

I started to notice the last three points on this list when I visited the IRC chat room. It was more than the nitty, gritty, cold details of theredpill discussion. It was guys helping each other with workout and diet information, it was chatting about a date from the night before, about personal strategies, and about personal failures and successes. The guys go there regularly for the comradery.

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm sure this subreddit has brought many of us sanity when we realized we couldn't discuss these things in real life. It's nice to have the guys here to bounce ideas off of and to connect with. But there was little personal aspect to it, our focus here discourages chatter that does not deliver insight to sexual strategy.

But part of being a man, and becoming a man, is ensuring a positive social circle that encourages growth. We need encouragement and the ability to bond.

For some, a local fraternity is a great option. The promise of Roosh's meetup is proof that men worldwide are in need of role models and friends.

We realized that all of these problems could, and should be solved.

So we've been working on a new platform for the better part of the last two years to solve these issues.

  • First and foremost, the most important aspect of this platform is an archive of our top posts and discussion, in case we get shut down. I didn't just want an html backup, I wanted to be able to switch to a new platform seamlessly without missing a beat. So we wrote a script to emulate reddit's interface, and we backed up the major red pill subs. And it functions fully as a replacement for our subreddit.

  • Secondly, we did not want to leave reddit unless we needed to. Which we won't. The sub will remain here until and if a move is made necessary by reddit admin. One of our strengths is the reddit platform and the ability to reach those who are looking. We will not leave here, nor will the backup boards be opened unless we are forced to. The backup boards will be accessible but read-only until that point.

  • Third, we wanted a platform that allowed members to interact on a more casual level and connect in an environment that was more socially driven and less topic driven. We also wanted the ability to connect with individuals instead of the entire community. We have created this platform and we're excited to unveil it soon.

  • We wanted a way to elevate positive contributions based on merit rather than social standing. Not everybody can have a name like /u/gaylubeoil. So we brought in a board of curators who will be helping us feature high quality posts on TRP and our new platform. The full board will be announced at launch, but it includes such names as Rollo Tomassi, Ian Ironwood, Private Man, Illimitableman, and a number of others.

  • We wanted a way for people to contribute content to our community and be able to anonymously receive thanks from the community, rather than the current setup, which rewards reddit's bank account when we purchase reddit gold. We will announce more about our plans soon, but I liken it to buying a friend a beer, but being able to do it anonymously.

  • We wanted to ensure security, and have spent countless hours pouring over the code and framework to ensure that everybody's privacy will be preserved. Donations by members on our board and IRC have purchased SSL certificates, and security-minded individuals have assisted in code audits. Passwords are one-way salted and hashed, all inputs are CSRF protected, and all inputs are scrubbed properly.

  • We wanted to ensure people could preserve their reddit account if they wanted. The registration system allows you to claim your reddit account as long as you have access to it on reddit.

  • And finally, we wanted to make sure not to change the focus or topic of the main sub. This new platform allows us to expand and extend the conversation without detracting from the original purpose of /r/theredpill: Discussion of sexual strategy in a culture increasingly lacking a positive identity for men.

We are very close to launching this new platform, so I wanted to address it here today in our state of the subreddit address, to let you know what our plans are and what our future is looking like. Our plan for this platform, when we launch, will work in combination with our red pill subreddit, not take place of it. We're very excited to see what happens. We've worked very hard on this platform and we think it will be a positive addition to our community.

Thanks to everybody who helped. We will announce this platform as soon as our finishing touches are complete. We expect a launch end of Feb/Early March.

-RPS

Women expect men in groups to do what they'd do: collectively gang up and exploit the opposite gender. As the gender that needs to receive, they need to wield power and control to continue the status quo.

Men having better access to sex, MGTOW, men sharing stories of shitty female behaviour... men sharing stories of slutty female behaviour (and how to inspire it)... men dispelling the unicorn myth... this terrifies women and rightfully so. Rightfully so because we would very much like to reduce their undeserved privilege and make them earn, make them exchange, make them pay their way or throw them to the curb.

Because their desires are unreasonable and irrational.... they can't just say "we disapprove of this because it is not in our best interests". So they exaggerate the rape angle and shriek about raping murdering men, in the hope to undermine the power of men in groups.

Well sorry ladies... the game is up and TRP is growing and I doubt it can be stopped now. Too much truth, too many anecdotes to back it up, too many people in the know.

[From "The Naked Communist," by Cleon Skousen]

  1. U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war.

  2. U.S. willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war.

  3. Develop the illusion that total disarmament [by] the United States would be a demonstration of moral strength.

  4. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.

  5. Extension of long-term loans to Russia and Soviet satellites.

  6. Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination.

  7. Grant recognition of Red China. Admission of Red China to the U.N.

  8. Set up East and West Germany as separate states in spite of Khrushchev's promise in 1955 to settle the German question by free elections under supervision of the U.N.

  9. Prolong the conferences to ban atomic tests because the United States has agreed to suspend tests as long as negotiations are in progress.

  10. Allow all Soviet satellites individual representation in the U.N.

  11. Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one-world government with its own independent armed forces. (Some Communist leaders believe the world can be taken over as easily by the U.N. as by Moscow. Sometimes these two centers compete with each other as they are now doing in the Congo.)

  12. Resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist Party.

  13. Do away with all loyalty oaths.

  14. Continue giving Russia access to the U.S. Patent Office.

  15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.

  16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.

  17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers' associations. Put the party line in textbooks.

  18. Gain control of all student newspapers.

  19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.

  20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policy-making positions.

  21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.

  22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to "eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms."

  23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. "Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art."

  24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them "censorship" and a violation of free speech and free press.

  25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.

  26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as "normal, natural, healthy."

  27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with "social" religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity, which does not need a "religious crutch."

  28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of "separation of church and state."

  29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.

  30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the "common man."

  31. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the "big picture." Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.

  32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture--education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.

  33. Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus.

  34. Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities.

  35. Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI.

  36. Infiltrate and gain control of more unions.

  37. Infiltrate and gain control of big business.

  38. Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand [or treat].

  39. Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals.

  40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.

  41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents.

  42. Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use ["]united force["] to solve economic, political or social problems.

  43. Overthrow all colonial governments before native populations are ready for self-government.

  44. Internationalize the Panama Canal.

  45. Repeal the Connally reservation so the United States cannot prevent the World Court from seizing jurisdiction [over domestic problems. Give the World Court jurisdiction] over nations and individuals alike.

banning of stuffs is a result of POLITICAL CORRECTNESS and CRITICAL THEORY.

Marx and Freud in the 1930s to create this theory called Critical Theory. The term is ingenious because you’re tempted to ask, “What is the theory?” The theory is to criticize.

The theory is that the way to bring down Western culture and the capitalist order is not to lay down an alternative. They explicitly refuse to do that.

[–]Senior EndorsedMattyAnon2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

what are our options?"

The lifeboat exists... reserve your nick now: http://puerarchy.com/2015/07/16/the-red-pill-subreddit-reddit-backup-site/

Agreed on critical theory... we should do the same. Just relentlessly criticise women, feminism, society, etc. But never present an alternative that could itself be criticised.

[–]hotsweetleather1-1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy

What Critical Theory is about is simply criticizing. It calls for the most destructive criticism possible, in every possible way, designed to bring the current order down. And, of course, when we hear from the feminists that the whole of society is just out to get women and so on, that kind of criticism is a derivative of Critical Theory.

i saw plenty of men in the comments there who went to return of kings because they couldn't believe there was pro-rape website & found out that they had been lied to by SJW & their white knight friends. they actually checked out the site, instead of listening & believing. more converts. well played roosh.

Most guys have at least the idea in their heads that something doesn't add up. So when they see guys saying stuff that makes sense, they latch on.

Same as when I discovered the manosphere. I had always bought the blue pill way of life. But it didn't add up. When I read people posting manosphere material, it didn't take much convincing for me to realize that this is the explanation for nothing adding up.

[–]GunsGermsAndSteel39 points40 points  (3 children) | Copy

This mirrors my experience. I've always been an inquisitive person, and the Internet has made it easier than ever to fact-check a story that seems like it might be bullshit.

I started reading some red pill stuff, and some MRA stuff, and I realized for the first time in my life that it was completely okay for me to want my needs to be met in a relationship. To EXPECT my needs to be met. And to not pretend to have the same needs as a woman. I don't need to be "heard", I need a blowjob and a steak. Finally I came to terms with that and stopped being ashamed of it.

Red pill and the more self-improvement focused aspects of the manosphere have changed my life permanently. I wouldn't say I was ever utterly pathetically blue pill- but I was ashamed of my red pill tendencies. Not anymore.

[–]Endorsed ContributorClint_Redwood8 points9 points  (1 child) | Copy

This was pretty much my exact path to TRP also.

[–]gonorealover1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Same with me as well . There were so many things that didnt add up in this society. Something wasnt right . I felt like I was the only guy who thought like this while every male friends saw me as misogynist gay man. Turns out I was right about my gut feeling. Boys are being brainwashed since the moment they first open their eyes. Our own parents , education , government are all part of the indoctrination of blue pill men .

TRP taught to never doubt my gut feeling .

[–]FeeFeeFeaster32 points33 points  (14 children) | Copy

So when they see guys saying stuff that makes sense, they latch on.

100%. You're led to believe that your ideas on modern society & the current behavior of women are archaic ideas and that something's wrong with you. Until a group can come together on a site like this, you won't see how many other guys out there have the same views & experiences.

I had always bought the blue pill way of life. But it didn't add up.

Same. Bought into life as I thought it was supposed to go (all the way to getting engaged) up to my mid 20s. Then found myself saying to myself "something's wrong here." And asking myself "this is what the rest of my life is supposed to be like?" Nope. Got out, doing my own thing, never looked back.

[–]UniversalFapture1 point2 points  (13 children) | Copy

I agree with what you and RPS are saying 100%.

Well, maybe 99.9%. See, I think it's great that we have a group that we can vent to and have the same standing as us, but do we really need to completely banish our old traits when transition from blue to red?

What I mean by that is... Well,I like gaming. I have been playing for a very long time now. I don't want to completely stop doing that. It doesn't interfere with my life and I get out exercise all the time. Most people outside of family don't know I play. That is, unless I tell them. Which is rare. Because I'm more of a lone wolf kind of guy. Which is another personality trait i have.

I think it's nice to incorporate Redpill into your life, but I dont think we should abandon who we are completely.

It makes us... Well, us.

[–]FeeFeeFeaster8 points9 points  (1 child) | Copy

I dont think we should abandon who we are completely.

I can't speak to the gaming aspect in any capacity since I'm not one, but TRP hasn't changed who I am at all. What it has done is solidified the thoughts that were in my head that went against traditional Disney fairy tale marriage/kids, "happy wife, happy life" nonsense that is constantly fed to us as soon as we can interpret the images & sounds from TV, books, and movies.

I was led to believe there was something wrong with me, and I was fine accepting that as long as I was happy because I've always been happier on my own anyway. I found a way to navigate and now I know what's really going on.

[–]UniversalFapture0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

I agree. I guess it's more subjective than I thought.

[–]Slab_Bulkhead1 point2 points  (7 children) | Copy

I think it's fine to keep gaming. It's actually one of the only ways I stay in touch with some friends back home across the country. More than that, I work in games, so I'm not sure how I could avoid it without losing some understanding of the industry.

But there's definitely a balance to be struck. For me, gaming makes it easy to fall into a rut. It's comfort food for the mind, for sure. Like anything, it comes down to mindful moderation.

I usually don't mention it when I first meet a girl, despite it being literally my livelihood. The only time it's helped me is when the girl's guy friends geeked out about me and gave me a little social proof. Any other time, it's just blank stares, so I save it for later or change the subject.

[–]UniversalFapture1 point2 points  (6 children) | Copy

I don't mention it either. At all. When a lady says she likes gamers she means hot guys who play games.

You can get away with a lot of hobbies if you have high SMV

Lots of average girls on dating websites who consider themselves smart often tout this as one of their "qualities".

It's a huge tell of elevated narcissism. The best way to deflect it if it comes up is to ask them if they've rubbed one out to Stephen Hawking. No? Looks like you're full of shit, darling.

It's more of a hobby than a lifestyle. As long as you get your shit done you can do what you want.

I look at I as: if you have time to play, you have time to lift.

As long as my priorities are complete, exercise is done, I'm gonna sit and play. If I don't feel like playing, I'll go sleep. Or talk to a girl. Or watch a documentary. There's plenty of things I like to do.

I'm not stopping. Simply because I don't want to.

But I can if i need to.

[–]rpscrote2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy

exactly the same for me. Rollo's blog is what I found, and his first year posts opened my eyes. The Rational Male is still IMO the best intro text, though there is a lot of great stuff to choose from these days

i remember fark, that place turned into such a mangina site.

[–]1DRMMR761 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Definitely. One of the problems with that format is that it did force everyone into one giant clusterfuck where unpopular opinions were easily shouted down. Here I can choose to avoid SJW subs and be relatively unscathed (for now). On Fark, if you weren't part of the in crowd (leftism, SJW, Feminst, etc) you were shit and everyone let you know it.

But if you can pull off having another personality without going crazy, you will be fine. Because you will lie while not lying. This is the power of doublethinking. Apply it on your personality, creating a new one or using the little obnoxious sound in your head if you have one. Talk to him, befriend him, and voila. You have your own personality which you made. And if you ever have a Freudian slip, you can pass it as a joke and they won't question unless it happens frequently.

Roosh is a funny guy. He's actually kinda ugly, and comes across as one of those weird nerdy types who over-thinks this gender/relationships thing way too much and obsesses about it.

But as dumb-ass as the shit he writes can be, Roosh is not a dumb man. In the span of a week, he went from mildly internet-famous in small circles to being on the nightly news in my city. And many other cities. And all he had to do is post extreme shit about rape and misogyny on the internet, then write that he was organizing a bunch of meetings that he never actually intended to occur or for anybody to attend. The whole point of this fiasco wasn't the meetings -- it was the backlash he knew would happen. He'll ride the wave of "Men can't even gather in peace and discuss unpopular thoughts without being stoned by feminists and the government" for a few months.

What's sad, however, is that the quoted statement above is actually true.

Men that talk about the shit we talk about are a threat to women. Because society is a fragile house of cards. We're conditioned to do and refrain from doing certain things by laws, socialization, financial incentives, and other incentives. But there are deviants. Extreme examples include broken men who say "fuck this" and go rape people or shoot up universities. Less extreme examples include men who figure out ways to game the system.

But the system is where women get their power, or at least the illusion of it. They have power because men play along, but any hour, any minute, any man might just say "fuck this" and stop playing along. Possibly in an extreme way, possibly in a less extreme way. That's the big secret they don't want you to know. Women remain, and always have been, under the power of men. And there's this fragile house of cards society has built to provide the illusion that this is not the case. But any random man could break any one of them if he really wanted to -- the only reason he doesn't is because for now, he's chosen to play along. If a stiff wind knocks the house of cards over, shit's gonna get bad for women.

[–]Archterus 20 points20 points [recovered] | Copy

Right on Archwinger. Men in general are actually unaware of the degree to which we do have power. If the discipline can be harnessed to focus on oneself, as the core driving ambition, and that pussy will be a consequence amongst many other desirable outcomes, then we can really shake the system. As has been said elsewhere, it is not just feminism that is the enemy, it the betas that are so indoctrinated they have no fucking clue. Just this week I overheard a conversation between some twenty something year old men asking ' who is this Roosh guy', and ' the people that turn up should be profiled by the police" No. Fucking. Clue.

Many thanks to the mods, EC's and all those that contribute. A life changer for me.

Feminism is the enemy regardless of how you look at it. Those beta males you are talking about are just male feminists and they're far worse to deal with than female feminists because they'd stab each other in the back to get a whiff of pussy and throw themselves on a grenade to be seen as the 'nice guy'.

This is why I say TRP shouldn't demonize MGTOW as much as we do. At the very least men who have consciously made the decision to MGTOW have chosen their sexual strategy and that strategy is not to play the game. At the very least those guys have decided not to be used as tools by women.

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 18 points19 points  (2 children) | Copy

MGTOW gives us more power. I embrace it.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (11 children) | Copy

how does TRP demonize mgtow?

[–]Endorsed ContributorRedBigMan14 points15 points  (10 children) | Copy

A large number of guys think MGTOW is just a bunch of herbivore men. Basically guys who have given up on pussy because they never developed game to get women. It may be true in some cases but other cases it may just be the guys don't see any positive aspects to adding women to their lives.

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points  (3 children) | Copy

Basically guys who have given up on pussy because they never developed game to get women.

yep, thats me. I exert literally zero effort to get pussy and i get tons and tons of shit for that in RL. Im not surprised plugged people give me shit for that, but i would expect otherwise from unplugged RP men. Isnt depedestalizing pussy one of the core things of TRP? That man shouldnt live for the pussy?

Im not gonna lie, id like to fuck but not so much i would chase other people so that i can stick my dick in them. imagine a Guy who dreams of owning laferrari and does the necessary shit to achieve that. Other people would of course like to drive that car but they arent gonna give up arm and a leg to do so like he does. Wouldnt the Guy be foolish if he hated on them because of that?

[–]Endorsed ContributorRedBigMan5 points6 points  (0 children) | Copy

Hey I'm one of the dudes who will give you some kudos.

Hell if you really wanted pussy you can always get an escort or hooker and get laid for $200-500. Which as we all know is way cheaper than half of all your shit plus vaginamony.

[–]widec3 points4 points  (1 child) | Copy

Unless you're in the top 0.1%, chances are you'll still have to pursue women. It's just the dynamics of the game; men play an active role while women play a passive role. I find a lot of guys will use MGTOW as an excuse to not talk to women, and it only hurts them in the long run.

You don't have to be putting them on a pedestal to be pursuing them. As long as you are willing to make your intentions clear off the bat and recover quickly from rejection, you're on the right track.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

you'll still have to pursue women

why. i can but i dont have to.

MGTOW as an excuse to not talk to women

ive been checking out mgtow stuff recently and while "sour grapes" mentality is certainly present here and there, i noticed most of the mgtows are honest about that like me - they would fuck given the opportunity but they arent gonna spend effort chasing pussy.

I'll trust a divorced MGTOW over a 21 year old.

the one has experience IMO, the other took his ball and went home.

[–]Endorsed ContributorRedBigMan4 points5 points  (2 children) | Copy

Yeah... though it could just be a case of the 21 year old stumbled on the manosphere early on and realizes it ain't worth it.

Hell if I was 21 and found this place I'd be thinking I'd be fucking escorts as opposed to dealing with all the crazy that's out there.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

It shouldn't be a victim cry fest in that case, just decided to nope the fuck out of it.

A true anger phase would involve something that actually harmed you, not just potential IMO. I mean, then I should be furious at Russians, because they could bomb the white house. Or I could get mad at that asshole who robbed me last year. Which guy sounds like he's more receptive to praxeology?

I don't think I would have changed much, but just been better at seeing the matrix for the code, and gotten more juice out of this lemon. My moms second divorce pretty much cemented the don't get married in me before coming here, though I guess YMMV.

Definitely wouldn't have LTR'd up until I was closer to 40 though. it's been value adding, generally, but the few times where it's come as a hamstring to a decision may not have been worth it

[–]Endorsed ContributorRedBigMan1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

I'm glad I found this place. I used to think get married, buy a house and have kids was the only way to have a life. That seems like the way the world worked because all the marriages I seen around me were successful (great grandparents, grand parents, uncle/aunt, etc...) and long lasting and none of our relatives that I know got a divorce. Now I know better because those are Marriage 1.0 and few men can actually succeed at Marriage 2.0, it's a sucker's bet.

As much as I disagree with some of the things he says, for a guy in his late 30s he is not bad looking at all (obligatory no homo). The average 30 something guy is fat, bald, and aging like shit while Roosh could easily pass as a 20 something. Forney on the other hand.....

I believe that he did intend to have these meetings, but you're right in that he recognized that if the day came where these meetings could not occur, it would only mean a mountain of publicity and exposure, and therefore a larger user base. He has gone to great lengths to privatize the meetings and exclude the general public about knowing the whereabouts of the new locations over the past 24 hours. This was a win-win situation for Roosh, and feminists decided to give him the bigger win.

I highly doubt he meant to do this. Getting shamed on the internet by the media/SJW/feminist PC conglomerate is the 21st century version of Chinese water torture. If he did mean to create this shit storm, I guarantee he regrets it.

That being said, it probably is going to grow the community because enough authentic males can cut right through the media's bullshit. But it seems the % of rational thinkers gets lower every day.

[–]TRP VanguardArchwinger20 points21 points  (6 children) | Copy

Are you kidding? We hide behind the anonymity of the internet because it's common knowledge that there's a sizeable body of people out there that would get you fired and destroy your relationships if they knew who you were in the real world. All because you post unpopular thoughts on the internet. Roosh knows that.

He knew damn well there was no way in heck he could post an address, date, and time, on his publicly accessible website, for a meeting among his readers and have anybody show up. Because even if the people who show up don't get harmed or there's not a huge protest and fiasco, they'll be identified by others who will then get them fired and ruin their relationships. Hell, you could meet me at one of these gatherings, and I could tell you I'm Archwinger, but for all you know, I'm just some guy off of the internet pretending all that so I can learn your real name or some other identifying information and get you fired for being a bigot.

There was no way any of these meetings could ever succeed. Like a zero percent chance. But a 100% chance that there was going to be some kind of massive backlash and notoriety protesting these events, as long as Roosh kept pretending he was serious about them up until the week of, when he could just "cancel" them.

Fair, but do you think he's actually enjoying the millions of people who are ruthlessly attacking him? I have people on my Facebook who I would not have previously classified as "White Knights" or "Feminists" saying extremely slanderous things about him. He has created an opportunity for these types to come out of the woodwork and grow their own "PC" community. It's easy for an outsider to think you can just phase out this type of online mob attack and be happy knowing he has the power to insight hate. But realistically, if you are getting constant death threats, family threatened, twitter spammed with abhorrent insults, your neighbors looking at you a different way... This type of stuff cuts deeper than you may realize.

[–]TRP VanguardArchwinger9 points10 points  (0 children) | Copy

Yes, I do. I get a little chubby every time somebody mentions "Archwinger" on the internet, even in a negative light.

Roosh is an internet troll. He fans the flames, says extreme shit, cultivates a cultish following, cultivates an even more cultish following of haters, and enjoys all of the attention he gets from his internet hobby. When was the last time hundreds of thousands of people rushed to protest something you pissed out of your keyboard on to the internet, while a dozen cities had a segment on you in the nightly news?

I'm not saying this guy is necessarily wise or productive, but come on. Some douchebag from Poland went from an absolute nobody to a dude with a small internet following to a dude getting talked about on the news, all in his spare time typing shit at a keyboard. It's a rush. "Archwinger" has more google hits than my real name, and all Archwinger does is piss out crap on the internet in his spare time.

Under the Constitution, the government was never supposed to "own" or have title to land, much less allodial title. The founders intended that the govt would merely be custodians until a Citizen purchased the land. There's a small but growing movement of People who are obtaining patent title (allodial title) to their land; which is a good step in attempting to restrain govt excess, and reclaim Sovereignty.

The United States Corp is a criminal corporation who assumes and presumes allodial title to all lands in the geography of the 50 states, of which they have no proof; and also presumes chattel ownership of all the persons who are franchises of the same corporation (aka US citizens). This is how they are able to completely disregard the constitution and the rights of People; because their (fradulent) claim is that we are voluntarily participating in their corporation.

There was a time - though brief - where at least some people were Sovereign. The US Corp is terrified that the People will wake up, cancel their corporate franchise citizenship, and become Sovereign again. Then their legal claim of maritime and admiralty jurisdiction goes out the window; and they would be forced to obey the common law and equity once again.

Barber shop or local bar.

I've positioned myself so that I'm in an area where I can be friendly with other guys at the local bar and have real discussions about the real world. I know the owner of the bar and he's old school masculinity and enforces that standard at his bar which includes his pick of bartenders.

But there is another bar in the same town run by a young Politically Correct couple and they heavily enforce the PC codes. It's really sickening.

So what Red Pill males need to do is be very conscious about the bar they go to. Don't always think in terms of whether there is a great piece of ass there because sometimes the better Red Pill experience is not the hottest place in town.

What happens is there becomes a kind of filter and the spoiled females will try a Red Pill bar and not get treated as if they were of a higher position. They then decide if they like masculine men or not and are willing to play the feminine role and have fun with it.

The Blue Pill public places should also be avoided because you are funding the wrong things. Every dollar you spend in a PC situation works negatively towards a Red Pill outcome. Don't reward it.

local bar.

I always found that as more of a cathardic space for men to vent. Hell, the enlightenment happened when people stopped going to ale houses, and started going to coffee shops. They had a lot of women shitting on it too, but they were too busy on a mission

[–]NeoreactionSafe1 point2 points  (3 children) | Copy

Starbucks is today's Blue Pill space.

A bar with just enough masculine chaos to keep the PC people away is ideal.

The bar management needs to know their identity, so if it's a Red Pill masculine bar that is usually well known.

I laughed so hard when I was reading my local news, and saw there was a warning from the police that a "rape group" associated with the infamous Roosh V might be congregating in my area. The report warned women to stay away from the event, because they "might be in some sort of danger."

This is how you know the feminism has society by the balls. Look at the blind panic these guys were able to stir up just by saying "hey, let's meet and talk."

Thanks for posting this, and the work you've been doing RPS. It is clear after the events with Roosh and the SJW onslaught that there is a concerted effort to stop young men from putting themselves first and living prosperous lives.

The platform we're developing is going to provide a secure, fast, and rewarding environment for everyone involved, from the new guy who has never heard about hypergamy to the seasoned veteran describing demographic differences in sexual strategy. We also want to make it a more personal than the reddit platform by creating user profiles (yes, they have max lift entries) and an easy way to let everyone know how you are fairing. Every other group in the world can communicate about these things in public, but make one allusion to the threesome you had in college and you're a pariah. Not here.

This is going to be something great if we put our minds to it.

"God damn it, an entire generation pumping gas, waiting tables, slaves with white collars, advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy shit we don't need."

When men get together and talk, they talk about revolution. And that scares women. It scares them because they know, unlike their sisters, men are capable of actually doing something. Every revolution in history, every war and battle known to man was decided and fought by men who congregated.

This is something I've been focusing on lately. With the demonizing of masculinity, more and more men fail to make any kind of difference or do anything. Men of our society are more like women than they are their own gender. This is what has kept men throughout the rise of feminism, it's created a bunch of men who do nothing but talk - they won't actually do anything about the talk. So when women see a group of men who actually fucking do shit, it's going to cause fear. And it absolutely should. They see our potential for creating great change and progress, which means they lose their "power". Funnily enough, the only power they have is the power that we as men give to them and allow them to have.

But part of being a man, and becoming a man, is ensuring a positive social circle that encourages growth. We need encouragement and the ability to bond.

I am beyond stoked about this. One of the most difficult parts for me in my quest to swallow the pill has been the lack of dudes who share the same mindset to all spur each other onwards and upwards. Together our power increases exponentially. But when you have a bunch of bitch-men who don't even understand what brotherhood means, there's not much togetherness to be had. Super excited for this.

Overall, I'm optimistic and stoked to see where these updates take us. The bubble's going to burst soon, boys, we're about to see great things happen.

We're all gonna make it brahs.

EDIT: wanted to also give a huge thank you to the mods and major contributors. Your work for this sub as well as for the male gender is fucking unprecedented. Thanks for all you do. You've changed my life, and countless others.

You guys absolutely must learn to fuck with these people.

FEMINISM IS A SHIT TEST.

STFU is a neutral response. Better than losing frame. Worse than displaying how strong your frame is.

Here's what we do: We troll. We troll the shit out of them. We agree and amplify. We pressure flip. We don't give away our positions by arguing logically; we use amused mastery to disarm everything thrown our way. We win the war by having a large enough portion of our men refusing to even take these topics seriously.

Here's how we should be dealing with some feminist rape-hysteria promoter:

EG. "Ghengis Khan raped practically the entire continent of Europe, but I think we can all agree that Genghis Khan was a total badass."

Followed up with misdirecting the conversation to how much of a loser she is for not liking Genghis Kahn, and then sly winks to other people, obviously enjoying yourself, etc etc etc...

Reporter: "You've called women you don't like fat pigs, dogs, slobs, and disgusting animals."

Trump: "Only Rosie O'Donnell"

Laughter.

99% of politicians would have gotten sunk by this question. We must all be Trumps in our own lives. That's how Feminism will get destroyed.

Woman: "What are you doing for the women in America today Mr. Kennedy?"

Kennedy: "Well I'm sure I'm not doing enough."

Laughter.

These are the types of men we need. We must each be this type of man.

Nope - my life is too busy to make a name for myself and fight in some grand crusade for masculinity. I'm going to smile, nod, go on my merry way, and keep my head down. Nobody is stopping you from opening your smart mouth when you're in a classroom full of liberal feminists, or when you're being questioned by the police, or when you're standing eye-to-eye in a club with a dude who thinks you're hitting on his girl. That and the extra freedom compared to a 9/5 job at corporateland.

Speaking of which, do you have any advice about running a small business?

[–]GunsGermsAndSteel0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

That's a pretty broad question. But okay: don't open a business doing something you're "passionate" about. Save that shit for the weekends. Focus on profit. Most small businesses fail because they're stupid ideas. Like, does your town REALLY need another bakery? Is your restaurant REALLY going to attract customers or are you gonna be throwing food away?

Thank you for the staggering amount of work you're putting into maintaining and expanding this community. After reading your state-of-affairs, it is clear that you care tremendously about the community and its goals. Looking forward to seeing the new platform.

I've always disliked the authoritarian nature of feminism. Their heavy-handed tactics for silencing dissent is reminiscent of 1984 where certain thoughts or words are not allowed to be used. If you dare mention an idea that isn't approved, you're going down, even if you're the president of a prestigious university or a Nobel laureate.

Of course we can't just ignore the feminists because they are in bed with the government. This cartoon by Ben Garrison title "Useful Idiots", commissioned by Sargon of Akkad, sums up why nicely.

And now here we have a community, 140k strong, of people discussing those thoughts that are not allowed to be thought, those subjects that are not allowed to be mentioned, and those ideas that are "obviously wrong to any sane person". The standard tools of shaming and tears don't work on us, so they look to authority again to try to stop us, and the only reason we're still around is because of individual liberties and free speech. Hopefully we'll be able to find the tools to survive in an environment that is increasingly hostile to politically incorrect thought.

[–]Endorsed ContributorRedBigMan6 points7 points  (6 children) | Copy

Well if there is one positive thing about feminazi bullshit is that people are rapidly growing sick of political correctness.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (5 children) | Copy

it's probably the #1 reason there will be a trump/sanders general election.

[–]Endorsed ContributorRedBigMan4 points5 points  (4 children) | Copy

Yep I'm hoping people will see that electing a black man didn't do jack shit so they'll figure why elect a woman, it's going to be the same.

At least that will save us from all the horrible feminist policies that hillary will introduce.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (3 children) | Copy

the whole 'savior' thing needs to go. even the trump supporters are doing the same thing as obamas did.

elect the right guy, and he will fix my problems. the complete shirking of civic responsibility, and they deserve what they get when they aren't represented. Trump won't be any different I'm betting. it's just a different flavour of the benevolent slave owner.

Thats the one thing I find sanders has over most. He admits he isn't the second coming of jesus, and that even after he's elected, you still have to get your ass in gear and grease the wheels. Trump asks nothing of the citizenry, and people are pinning their hopes on him, same as obama IMO.

It's just too bad, because he has the leadership and persuasion down, just missing the holding his voters to task, though that would probably tank his popularity.

[–]Endorsed ContributorRedBigMan2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

Trump won't be any better than any recent presidents or presidential hopefuls... But I have a feeling he will be more entertaining to watch in action given he doesn't toe the Political Correctness line like everyone else does.

You're missing the point. Every election,,, someone promises hope, and never delivers. Potus isn't a magic wand, nor will he be neo.

Trump isn't the bogeyman the left thinks, he's actually pretty left in a lot, definitely not neocon. But he isn't going to reverse 40 years of globalization in 4 years, people still have to hold their congressmen governors and house to task.

It's the one thing that I've heard from Bernie that no one's said since the 60s... Regardless of who wins it's pretty important that people don't think that their job is done after November.

Also not free, but prioritized in the budget. It's no more free than Medicare or defense is.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

I agree with this 100%.

[–]WhySoRuff0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

That 140K gives me hope. I've been wondering, how strong/big the "manosphere" has to be for big business and government to incentivize the men's rights movement and back us up.

The female need to insert herself into male spaces is really the basis for a lot of shit that we see. When the feminist doctrine of equality is proven false, they resort to whining and ad hominem attacks to ensure that the barriers of entry are adjusted to allow them to participate.

With government sanctioned authority, the derail sensible men's movements by labeling them hateful and making themselves out to be victims. When that fails, and there is no recourse to allow them to infiltrate men's spaces and redirect the cause, their only option is an attempt to destroy the space completely.

Case in point, ROK and this place.

What Timing.

I'm still new, but I'm learning. I feel better. I have a purpose. And I have this group of people to thank for it.

But I never realized the opposition we faced until this last week. Twitter is curated, so I'm pretty insulated, but my Facebook was blowing up. First it was the "Pro Rape Protests" being organized by people I know, where they threatened to beat men who came while also giving out warnings that those attending are "extremely violent, maybe armed, and have been instructed to attack anyone who questions them." Seriously? The logic bends and snaps within the same breath. Then, when anyone, anyone, questioned the narrative, they were ripped a new asshole. Thank god for Rule 38.

So, I have to fight against the idea of any personal, semi-open meetup of us. Yes, men need each other, and our society drives us apart. Maybe it's the feminist imperative, but I think it's also some of our own doing. Nevertheless, while I hope that the day comes where we can meet without fear of retribution, in my mind a cultural shift is going to be necessary to effectuate it.

Thanks, as well as to the rest of the mods, for your work. Having an escape plan will be necessary; especially after the problems reddit's leadership experienced just over the last year. It's not far fetched to assume that we have an expiration date. The improvements on the new platform sound great as well.

[–]Endorsed ContributorRedBigMan6 points7 points  (1 child) | Copy

Men will congregate together. We will not however show up for one of these witch hunts.

The best way to congregate would be to start man-only gyms and flip the script. Not every man appreciates being ogled like eye candy for women as they work out. Perhaps it would be better to have a gentleman's club where members are only invited by existing members so that way you can keep women out. The freemasons have been doing it for quite a while and you know that might be a decent place to start out connecting with your fellow men too possibly. Though not many of them are going to be red pill men or MGTOW or other manosphere types.

I was planning on attending Roosh's meetup in an unnamed southeastern U.S. city — and even bringing two friends. All was well until I ventured online yesterday only to witness the filthy lies propaganda perpetuated by feminists, thereby feminists in journalism, and thereby politicians.

I do not actively follow Roosh, but I find much of the material posted on Return of Kings useful and closely related to our material here at TRP. This attack against Roosh was NOT ONLY an attack against Return of Kings — this was an outright denial of ANY man's rights who stands up to the feminist imperative. And they "won" this battle to a certain degree. I can only hope Roosh's announcement of cancellation was made to protect those attending the international meetings by creating a false sense of security for opposition forces.

If anything, this entire, chaotic situation can serve as an example of how FEARFUL the West is of men learning the truth about gender dynamics and finally acting upon these realizations by moving from a perceived state of "weakness" online to a position of concealed power in real life.

Repeating Ghandi's line, which has been tossed around here more than once: "First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win." While we are undoubtedly far from winning, events like these push the world to change. I can't wait until the next meetup.

The media and society has upheld the delusion that women can compete with men physically by not ever allowing them to experience men's violence. If their was no risk of jail time, and they chose to battle the ROK meetup, those women would die against half their numbers. It would be embarassing.

Modern men are a sleeping giant collectively, you can spend decades legislating the power of men away from them and handing it to women while at the same time creating a culture that undervalues men and the sleeping giant won't even notice the slight annoyance of this effort. We can undo all this so called progress in a day if we were so inclined because we are endowed with actual power that can't be removed no matter how unfair that advantage may be it will always exist.
I've learned first hand that legislating my god given power away from me and handing it to my wife who isn't as capable as I am only subtracts from her lifestyle and her happiness. Women had it better before they tried to become our equals.

[–]UtopianfreeMan2 points3 points  (2 children) | Copy

Bru, they can take it away. Don't be a fool. They are slowly fucking your testosterone levels and they are succeeding. Testosterone is power. Testosterone makes you do all those great things. Look around you; how many men do you see still capable of a real fight? Answer: not a lot. Even the niggers, naturally gifted with higher levels are slowly being converted to pussies. Now, I must admit that every man has the capabilities to become a motherfucking alpha, but not many men will seize this opportunity. The potential is there at least, but it's not being used. Instead of a sleeping gaint I would rather say we have a midget capable of becoming a gaint.

[–]Coolbeans024ptf 1 points1 points [recovered] | Copy

Have you read my other posts on testosterone? I've been hacking my T levels for some time now. They may be screwing our testosterone but they are also screwing women's testosterone too and much more so for women because hormonal birth control destroys their natural power most of the time. Have you noticed that there isn't really a common word for the opposite of feminism? There probably is but I've not heard it. Women are fighting men and men aren't fighting back because we don't need to, women are destroying themselves all on their own, thinking they are achieving something but most of the time they are losing something sacred and elegant.

[–]UtopianfreeMan1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

[–]NecroticFury-1 points0 points  (3 children) | Copy

i agree, its foolish and illogical thinking at best.

at worst its pathetic, like you described.

men's power to conglomerate absolutely has been removed and takes away our ability to even argue our point. Society as a whole no longer believes men should advocate for themselves - this is fact.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (2 children) | Copy

woman at the workplace wants to go on the guys nights out. ruins the dynamic, so they stop inviting her. boss forces 'all members' to the guys nights out after work, so they stop having them, and just hang out outside of work, not talking about it.

if it's important, you'll find a way. they figured out the enlightenment, when all the harpies were clamouring to shut down the coffee houses of the time, you can figure out how to have 3 men in a room without cops banging down the door to close up the rape factory,

maybe invite a bunch of syrian refugees, then you are untouchable.

[–]NecroticFury2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy

you dont seem to understand the dynamic, if you keep running from them, they can just take away your ability to run. its your rights and reputation, not simply the ability to congregate.

if you think just laying back will fix this issue, you're delusional. Either society fails completely, or manginas rule and society fails men completely. I think the latter is a much easier route for society to take.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

I don't agree with the premise. They are all opt in problems, and I can only change my small sphere, so I focus on that.

I don't run any more than I run from problems of overpopulation in China, it's outside my sphere of influence.

It's a convienient way to shirk off the responsibility of action, because there potential hardship. I know the rules, and navigate them appropriately.

Mra have been crying about this for generations, and Ignoring the gym, professional development and not opting out of bad deals... Where are they now?

There's a reason gaylubeoil called them fat bodies... They are applying Uterus logic to a testicle problem

[–]Coolbeans024ptf 0 points0 points [recovered] | Copy

There is a reason women are shorter and weaker than men and a reason why they mature faster than men. There is a reason why they are more susceptible to Stockholm's syndrome. Men have owned, traded, sold, and stolen women for ages. The smaller weaker women were bred with more, thus creating a weaker women as compared to men. Young girls were being raped before they were menstruating and the ones who started menstruating earliest had girls who matured faster. All of this is ultimately the fault of men but we literally created the modern woman over eons of horribly treatment of women. This has had a huge effect not only on the bodies of women but also on their minds and emotions. Women have had to learn coping mechanisms and unique survival strategies. We live in a very different world than 99.9% of our ancestors. But you can't undo the consequence of thousands of years of domination by changing a few laws and tweaking popular opinion. men are women are simply not equal and we can't make them equal anytime soon but we can treat each other fairly to a certain extent but it will never be fair and there is no way around that.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (10 children) | Copy

doubling down on blaming the world for everything?

Those same men were usually dead, and the scant few that didn't get stabbed, killed from disease, or malnutrition got a better go, because there wasn't as much competition

you'd rather go back to that? I have a feeling you would whine because animals weren't using your traps, and you've starve to death.

[–]Coolbeans024ptf 0 points0 points [recovered] | Copy

The truth, no matter how ugly is still the best place to start. There can be a more elegant partnership between the sexes that is amicable for both sides. Victimizing men hurts women more than men because women are much more dependent on men than men on women. The pain boomerangs back to them and because women have fewer resources it's more harmful to them. Marriage laws are a great example of this and have turned good men into modern slaves to unscrupulous wives. Men are viable businesses for women these days and women of all ages are keenly aware of this. As men begin to wake up to this manipulation (one of many) it won't be hard for them to prevent this pitfall and a cultural change will occurs and women will suffer. No mater how you roll the dice women suffer more than men and it will never be fair for them because men and women aren't equal, men have had every advantage over women for eons and there is no way to even the playing field. We can only foster a system of fairness and decently, this quest for equality will ultimately be a detriment to women because it is a fools errand.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (8 children) | Copy

Great, now what are you going to do with this knowledge?

you're high on talk, low on action, and every time I point it out, you give more talk.

Do you lift? When you interact with girls, do you set your boundaries and enforce them? Are you even able to pull enough girls to make it a factor? Or do you use all this understanding as a form of paralysis... women act in their own best interests, not yours... that an excuse then to do nothing?

If you'll notice, I never called anything you said wrong, I said that your attitude is defeatist and weak, and your only response to it is to point out how hard life is.

Get over it, you have the rules, now go play the game to win, stop sulking on the sidelines

[–]Coolbeans024ptf 1 points1 points [recovered] | Copy

I'm not really sure why you are attacking me if you agree with me. Truth is power, I can tell from your attitude that you lack in the emotional control dept. If you can't maintain frame you have nothing. Asking how many girls I pull only further makes my point that you have a lot to learn and aren't as "alpha" as you have convinced yourself that you are. Stop talking and start reading and maybe people will think you are smarter than you are. How old are you? Under 30 I'd guess as your remarks lack maturity and insight, they are fueled with misguided emotion. Being a man has very little to do with lifting or pulling tail. Suck it up buttercup and fasten your seatbelt as the road ahead of you is gonna be bumpy.

My posting history is one click away, you're more than welcome to see my submissions there.

Your attitude is shit, Life is what it is, the question is, what do you do about it?

I hope no body listens to you, because your submission history still shows you crying to women for approval and advice.

EDIT: oh wait, I remember you now, you're the guy who had your wife fuck a girl and say she doesn't love you anymore, than you, and told you she would never blow you again, and want to reward her for properly paying bills and not wasting money.

My previous non-TRP acocunt was harsher on you than I am here, how is your MAP anyways? Did you finally ditch the lesbian? Hows the workout schedule going? logged all the good dad stuff to get custody?

I found this all to be very interesting. I am curious to see the new platform and appreciate all the thought, effort and other resources that have gone into trp. Thanks for sharing some of what has and is going on behind the scenes! Good strategic thinking!

I've thought several times that real (IRL) meetups could be very helpful. An evening over drinks exchanging thoughts, ideas and observations could go a long way towards trp goals. Tough to arrange and not be "outed", tho.

Men really do need more places and ways to connect as men. I hope more of this can happen...somehow.

Again, thanks to trp leadership for all their hard work.

Looking forward to the new platform!

To be honest, after being active in this sub for almost 2 years, which taught me more of how to be a confident man then what heavy-feminist Australia could ever teach me, I intentionally stayed away from this sub to experience life through red-lenses on my own, to apply everything I've been taught here.

6 months later being away from TRP and i'm seeing the uproar of Roosh's planned meeting here in Sydney and it made me LOL, and brought me back to this sub. Honestly i would've attended the meet, provided there was some degree of anonymity.

I've been currently promoted to a senior management role in a female-dominated workplace, and shit would hit the fan if they knew i attended a 'pro-rape' (WTF!) male meeting. It would destroy this career I've worked so hard to create.

But though i don't have an opinion on Roosh, his antics did lead me back here to TRP, and subsequently to the news of the new platform.

Well done mod team!

We wanted a way for people to contribute content to our community and be able to anonymously receive thanks from the community, rather than the current setup, which rewards reddit's bank account when we purchase reddit gold. We will announce more about our plans soon, but I liken it to buying a friend a beer, but being able to do it anonymously.

I feel that this can be a slippery slope. There are those who have the intent to use this concept in its intended way, and then I see those who want to post content in order to fish for some income.

Is the team thinking of ways to mitigate/counteract this?

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

Our curation team (with members such as myself and Rollo) will only be selecting content for curation that we believe is high quality and displays a solid knowledge of red pill.

Who and what content people decide they'd like to tip is their choice, we don't get to control that. But if somebody decides to build an audience on a top-10 list format (which is crappy) it won't flood our home pages, only their private blog. If he is able to make income from that, I say fair game to him.

This post will be directed at individuals who do want to shut this sub down, so Mods...save this and other "reviews".

I encourage other RPers to do the same. Feedback is important.

I've been here for 2 months (rounding up). I lurk, post occasionally, but take this shit seriously.

There are some posts I like, some I don't. It's a buffet, we all get that.

But my self confidence and self assurance had grown immensely since discovering this sub.

I'm learning, I'm growing, I'm monking it, I'm focusing on my carreer, I'm lifting, I'm practicing chit chat with chicks, and I'm genuinely trying to improve.

Improve MY life and MY choices. Discipline. Not someone else's.

Reddit is also an easy medium for me. Somewhere I can get a quick article in on my phone during a lunch break.

We're all trying to improve here. That's what it means to me. And if someone at Reddit is trying to shut THIS sub reddit down, I ask they read this.

I go to /funny to laugh. /nfl to talk sports.

I come here to grow.

RPS,

you are right. This is a revolution. However, the masses are dumb, as you surely know. They don't care about machiavellianism, they don't care about philosophy, they don't care about woman getting special treatment, they don't care about questioning the status quo. why should they. Games and bread, you win the masses.

The french people revolted because they starved, while the aristocraZy bathed in bread, the people were denied a basic need. Food.

Deny a basic need and you get a revolution. A basic need for men is sex. For woman it's commitment. Soon enough, both will be denied. Weak men will play vidya all day long, frustrated about the dating game. Woman will fuck Mister Thundercock, but can't secure commitment.

Sure, you could say this is a revenge fantasy, however as more men wake up and realize marriage is a scam, numbers will add up. More women than men go to college now, we all know woman date up. Who will they date? Men like me won't commit and given reddits demography, this subs specifically, losers and incels, who were smart but didn't know how the gender relations worked, who seeked help and found this place, they will be the future. Young and bright students, engineers, mathematicians and programmers. They will be the futures top 20% but they sure as hell won't commit.

So the genders are and will be "at war". It's unavoidable, the basic needs are being denied, revolution is coming.

Would love to see mods post a chart showing daily total TRP subscriber count - including breakout of additions and attrition - starting from a few days before this blew up in the press through a couple weeks after they move on to the next feminist outrage.

Gonna believe we'll see an acceleration of the normal acquisition rate. And while I personally take issue with a lot of Roosh's stuff - both style and substance - you cant deny that bastard knows how to manufacture clicks. Some of those outraged white knights will become subscribers here once they're shown the underlying code of the matrix they're slave to.

Came here from a broken marriage, couldn't understand why when I had done everything I was supposed to do, be faithful, support my family, work hard, never complain or get angry, support my wife in her choices, I still got treated like shit. Thanks to red pill for starting my path, I feel like I am reclaiming myself and getting back to being the best version of me I can be.

The only area of red pill I struggle with is all the anger. I understand the anger, but even if women are a special sort of retarded and feminists are fucking things for everybody, I still like women. Just being a hater isn't gonna fix shit. Crying about the unfairness of it all ain't gonna fix shit either. The only way to change things is for enough men to change themselves and improve the lives of those around them.

Even better. TRP.RED

[–]2RedPill4LYF0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Many here participate on a subreddit dedicated to the supposed "rational" debate of these very accusations. (purplepilldebate) To argue it misses the point entirely.

Allow me to shed light on why a red piller would choose to visit that sub, despite knowing PPD is designed to perpetuate the arguments without ever coming to any objectively mutually beneficial resolutions.

In a word, it's practice. There is no better way to test your own knowledge of TRP than to experience all the little tricks and tactics the trolls will use in an attempt to shame you into submission. In my mind, if you have not been banned from PPD yet, it probably wouldn't hurt to read up on the basics again. It's one thing to debate in good faith there, but if you're sufficiently red pilled when making your own submissions, the trolls and mods will shit bricks stifling your messages with completely bogus accusations to justify deleting your threads while threatening to ban you if you challenge the status quo again.

It doesn't take long for a red piller who stays on point to get banned is what I'm saying, and I know I don't really care if I ever get the chance to post there again. Fun as it was while it lasted, I couldn't have asked for a better send off. Getting banned from that sub is like graduating from a college that specializes in teaching you how to effectively call people on their bullshit. The real world benefits were more than worth the effort for me.

Despite how ignorant and hateful almost everyone is against you there, so many things can be taken away from the experience. One of the most interesting aspects of arguing with these people is that once you have seen and heard all of their arguments, predicting them and responding by trumping an SJW's talking points with logic is where the real challenge begins. The thing is, SJWs do not respond to logic head on. They simply do not acknowledge logic and rationality that comes from you. The last thing an SJW wants to do is validate any aspect of what you have to say, not because you're wrong, but because the SJW's true goal is to invalidate you.

Once it really hits you just how rigged the debates are against red pillers, you start to see how all the dots connect together. They attempt to rile you up, get you emotional with their smug bullshit and shaming tactics. That's because they want to escalate the argument with you. They want you to lose your cool so they have an easier time quoting you out of context on other subreddits, forming brigades, and then coordinating tactical vote manipulations while continuing to project their bullshit onto you even through PMs until you finally snap.

A red piller isn't going to snap of course. A red piller is for the most part completely un-phased, if not thoroughly amused, by these hypocritical cowards. A red piller sees the tactics being employed and learns how the SJWs operate; what SJWs believe, and what SJWs actually believe. A red piller processes this information on a person by person basis, then uses that knowledge to cuntsmash the whole sub.

The point isn't to win the arguments. The point is to get good at owning the SJWs and their disingenuous backhanded accusations so that you can focus on learning how SJWs will respond once they have been checkmated. They don't engage your logic in good faith, what they look for is anything they can grab hold of to shift the focus on anything they can plausibly get away with shaming you over so that you must stay firmly on the defensive. They know either way they have you where they want you if they convince you it's necessary to justify your existence. You'll either get worn down while they continue further derailing the topic, or you'll get frustrated and they'll use that anger to perpetuate the notion that you are the troll and a bad person for agreeing with anything on TRP.

It will click with you sooner or later that this is what's really happening, and that's why it's fun to rock the whole sub once you get it. TRP could easily dominate PPD with just a handful of dedicated red pillers who refuse to deviate from whatever the topic at hand is. Naturally, such an effective lot of red pillers would vanish from the sub without a trace. A well documented record of such an effort would make for interesting study material on TRP I would imagine.

This lesson alone was but one valuable insight I took away from PPD that benefited me in the real world. I'm very good at picking up on liars and calling them on it in person now. A lot of strategies blue pillers use to attack TRP don't mean shit in the real world where I can debunk and suss out the true intent behind the deceitful language a curious number of people use to influence the reactions they want right there on the spot.

It troubles me that there might be a crack down on this sub or general redpill manosphere content elsewhere on the internet. I feel confident in the new platform to serve as backup. I do hope that the new user experience remains intuitive & that the momentum does not get lost due to initial teething issues/ unfarmiliar UI . Great job overall and thanks for the address.

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Thanks for the kind words, and yes, that was one of my biggest concerns.

Part of the reason for our growth has been the ease of use on the reddit platform, and our decision to stay on reddit has been strictly because we're not just a discussion forum, but rather, we're the red pill subreddit. If we are forced to move, I want to maintain that identity, and so we've written the new software to look, act, and feel as close to reddit's behavior as possible.

Men need to start going back to church. NOT to worship. But it's a place where men can congregate without being policed/observed/etc.

Back in the day, men would go to church every week for networking. Even if they thought god and religion were bullshit. Atheism is widespread now, for good reason, but I think church can serve as an important role in men's community.

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points  (2 children) | Copy

Feminism isn't our enemy. Ironically it's our greatest ally.

It has exposed the nature of the female of the species in just a unfiltered and extreme fashion that even moderates begin the question the narrative.

Granted we have a push pull relationship but as a whole 2nd and 3rd wave feminism has presented so much information on the standard operating procedure that it almost exclusively removed the veil.

Previously men would only learn of this via their fathers and brothers. Now men are learning this from thousands of sources which only increase by the day.

The more they attempt to staunch the flow of information by suppression the greater the pressure of the flow.

The irony of this is so sharp I bleed just witnessing it.

Best of luck, guys. With the outright dishonesty flying around about this subreddit, the majority of Reddit would likley just shrug their shoulders if this place got banned. I hope that doesn't happen.

I think it would be the straw that broke the camel's back for me to say goodby to this place forever. I may not agree with everything I read here but banning this subreddit would be a very CLEAR execution of censorship as a result of extreme bias on the part of Reddit Administration. I can understand and accept the Reddit's reasoning for banning most of the subreddit's the have, but if they ban this one, it's the first certain sign that it's an ideological ban. That's the death of Reddit AFAIAC.

We've all read the things he has said that people are upset about, and I can't really find any intelligent way to justify Roosh. Okay, but there's nothing in his rape-legalization post that indicates that it was just a satirical experiment (Poe's Law). Either he doesn't understand what satire means, or he completely failed to make his satirical point known even to people who are well-versed in satire and media/online social experiments. How can he accuse the media of deliberately misinterpreting him when he at worst is a rapist and at best is really fucking awful at presenting whatever it is he's trying to present?

"Here are some stories where I portray myself as a rapist."

"Hey guys, I think rape should be legalized."

"Hey guys, it was just a social experiment. The accusation that I’m a rapist is a malicious lie."

Does nobody see how completely illogical this is? Or do people here suddenly lose their ability to rationally analyze things when it doesn't suit them?

I don't know anything about Lena Dunham raping her sister. She's intolerable and I don't pay attention to her. If she has done what Roosh is doing then yes, I would obviously be writing the same thing about her.

As for whether writers need justification, no, but it's a good idea if a satirist actually writes functioning satire. If you have to explain to everybody that it was satire and neither intelligent people or supporters can actually explain how exactly it's satire, then it's not good satire.

However if you're saying that Roosh, much like The Onion, is literally just a big satirical alter ego and that nothing he says is to be taken seriously on any level then okay, discussion over and case closed.

This is somewhat similar to the Civil Rights movement that happened in the 1960's and Vietnam War protest. You can live in the blue pill/beta/white knight world all you want but you can't deny how fucked up shit is when women are attacking peaceful shit at the slightest provocation and it's televised and recorded. Demonize, shame, marginalize and try and assassinate people's characters as much as you can, you're just gonna end up showing your true colors and the world will eventually see who the real monsters and culprits are. Those who point their finger at someone else for doing something terrible have three other fingers pointing back at themselves.

People are waking up and the tide will eventually turn. Mark my words.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (8 children) | Copy

Not really.

I don't see cops sicking the dogs on roosh, or people getting shot. Careers being lost over this is bad, but it's not as bad as they had it back then

I don't mean it in the violence/physical aspect. I mean it in the aspect where women, feminist, liberals, media are constantly trying to portray this image of equality, individualism, social justice and good values to the world and society as a whole in this beautiful, splendid image but the reality of the situation is they everything but that. The way they slander men, marginalize us all as potential rapist, saying we're all misogynistic scum bags that are the source of the worlds problems, attack every view point that's not their own, psychically and verbally attack men but cry victim when shit happens to them, extreme double standards, control what we say, false rape allegations, divorce rape, you can't judge us but WE can judge you. People are seeing the extreme hypocrisy in this.

It's like how the world starting seeing the U.S during the Vietnam War and Civil Rights. How could we preach about democracy, equality, fighting communism and getting on other countries cases about how they treat their people when back at home in the U.S, we were treating another ethnicity's like complete shit. As you said, sicking dogs on black people, beating them, lynching them, tear gassing them, extreme racism, lynching, mobs, attacking white people who sympathized with the injustice that was happening against black people....and for what? People who were having a peaceful protest, or wanted to gather somewhere in public without being harassed by a mob for what they were trying to logically say what was on their mind or what they wanted?? That's what I meant. You can't portray this image of you being better than others and trying to say how everyone else is wrong when you're doing some extreme fucked up shit yourself because eventually everyone is gonna see who the real monster is. The world saw what the U.S was back in the 1960's and what was really happening....the world is seeing what is happening now in 2016, and as I said, people are waking up to the truth because it's getting too bad to keep on denying it or trying to pretend it doesn't exist when we all know it does.

I'm talking about the general perspective of things and how they correlate with one another and how they can be compared too eachother. I don't know where you live, but Obama's government initiated moves to disarm and track gun owners. The only reason men aren't being shot is because we made it abundantly clear that we possessed the tools, manpower, mindset, and will to fight back.

[–][deleted] -2 points-1 points  (2 children) | Copy

You should lay off the alex jones, you're rambling.

I've been hearing that same bullshit since Clinton. no ones coming for the guns, it's logistically impossible, and has been for the last few decades. It's always lip service, nothing more

As far as the power fantasy, Oregon should have shown you, for every 'patriot' with a gun, there's a cop with a gun who's dying to become wyatt earp.

[–]RP151 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy

Alex Jones' readers all feel that the government is trying to control them but don't possess the intelligence to understand or articulate their gut reaction. He provides a cult analysis of crazy bs that prevents them from reading anyone but him, thus cementing in a market.

There's a huge difference between FEMA death camp idiocy and what almost happened. Obama suggested that we do universal Federal background checks despite their ineffectiveness and that they wouldn't prevent shootings. Why? Because it would allow all SSN's run through the system to be saved as a Federal database of gun owners.

These things happen incrementally. The last one was in the mid 90's. We won this time, but every little way they win is designed to set the chess board for disarmament. They'll be back in 10-20 years. We will have to show them that we have the means and will to fight again.

As for Oregon, they majorly fucked it up by 1) not garnering moral support and 2) picking a tactically indefensible area and 3) repeatedly leaving their camp. Just so poorly done.

I have to say, I was disappointed when Roosh came out as a Muslim (maybe some / all of you knew? I didn’t):

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ot4tDl6T-tY

Excerpt:

“(...) my sex views come from Islam. The only place in Canada I’m safe, believe it or not, is a mosque. I’ve been hanging in a mosque all day, praying to Allah, praying to Mohammed, to keep me safe; that’s the only way. The only way that I can – and I hope they keep me safe; I hope that I’ll make it out of Canada, based on al the threats that I am getting – I am hoping that they at least provide safe passage, for me to get out of the most Islamophobic country that probably exists in the entire world. And I ask all my Muslim brothers and sisters to speak out against these Canadian reporters and feminists and privileged politicians for their Islamophobic beliefs.”

Now, everybody is entitled to hold whatever beliefs they choose.

But Islam is all about child indoctrination, and keeping people (women, children, AND men) in check. It’s an (inhumane, in my view) political ideology, as well as a (irrational, in my view) religion.

Islam is not about the Red Pill… The Red Pill is about uncovering our eyes and seeing the truth, about women, but also about the world around us.

Islam is all about covering things up, from women to scientific truths.

I don’t like women walking around in burqas; fuck that shit.

[–]DexterousRichard3 points4 points  (1 child) | Copy

[–]NawtVolkishEnuf-5 points-4 points  (2 children) | Copy

Hardly a month ago, a bunch of young, kebab men congregating in a public place led to mass sexual assault. You can hardly blame the media for being concerned when a Muslim who wants to make his behavior legal is calling for a large number of his followers to congregate in public.

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

Because that's all men, right?

[–]TheMGhandi-4 points-3 points  (0 children) | Copy

Men don't benefit from spreading the knowledge about women. They really don't. All it does is allow betas to somewhat 'act' alpha and then breed fucked up children when they've lost the war at home, creating 'short term' competition.

I think this is why trp supports spinning plates. Being in a relationship will expose the way you're naturally inclined towards women, via conditioning, and you'll fuck up sometime. If our members need to be told how to approach relationships with women, aka don't marry or have LTRs, then great! If they can't think for themselves, chances are their women will later on.
