The Lesson
Westernized countries = An abundance of effeminate men offering up a carousel of dicks on demand. Even fat post-wall can get some.
The truth is that, if 90%+ of guys are offering, it's no longer valued. Don't be them...Become obsessed with your world aka your frame and bitches will follow.
Nothing worse than playing someone else's game.

Thats easy to say. Not really sure how to make that mental shift! I'll be really into my work but become antisocial and not meet people. But when im single, I'll go out to have fun w friends and meet girls. When I'm outside, how can I be obsessed with my world and meet people at the same time?

Do you want to go snowboarding? Do it
Do you want to go skydiving? Do it
Do you want to go explore the sea? Do it
There is so much to enjoy beyond women. If a woman is lucky enough then she would be able to enjoy the briefness of a man's company while he leads his life and does what he wants.

Become the type of person, who other people want to be a part of. You're young, so this is reality will take time, but start the mindset now.

Do you find your work fulfilling?are you doing what you want?
[–]yunhaila0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Yes its actually all i dreamed of doing!
[–]randommofo-1 points0 points1 point 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Any tips on how to get there?
[–]yHermit points points points 7 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
It's not your height. Trust me. I'm 5'8 and it's not that bad.
[–]Sklavenmoral5 points6 points7 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Part of the problem might be
when I turn on my IDGAF mode
Not giving a fuck doesn't work like that. You can not maintain frame if you are "disconnected with individualistic me". You must work on yourself and your understanding all while gaining a diverse set of experiences. When you collect enough wisdom, DGAF comes naturally as a side-effect.
[–]yunhaila0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Hmm. I think because of this people get turned off because they sense the inconsistencies.
[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
You just started lifting. Give it a year. I'm in the same boat. Focus more on real life interactions. Also if you have high standards and are going after hotter women, you have to be more of an ass hole in America. Otherwise you're like everyone else in her sea of orbiters.
[–]randommofo1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Also, increase only 5 lbs a week after you get the workouts in a row where you hit all your reps. If you go up too much, or have shitty form, it will all break down.
The asshole thing is fun tbh. And yeah internet apps are much more of a time drain than real approaches!

A 5'11" manlet? You've got to be kidding me.

It's really hard to meet women in the us. I'm 5'10. 160 pounds. Mid 30s. White. Masters degree. Pull in 500k a year. Probably a 6.5 or 7 in looks. Live in Cali. Women want nothing to do with me. Fat girls on tinder match and don't respond. They have so many options now, the ratios are so fucked, that's it's now extremely hard for average guys to get the attention from any woman.
[–]ZT3V3N34 points35 points36 points 7 years ago (18 children) | Copy Link
If you pull 500k p/a in Cali and still can't get chicks, there's no helping you mate
"What do you do?"
"Software". And then they are gone. I really don't think they care for money like they used to. They can make their own money now.

My good sir! My marketing career has taught me that there are no such thing as boring products! Only boring salespeople. Heck, I get to market hearing aids to old people and there are ways to make THAT exciting.
Remember, girls don't respond as much to credentials, titles, and subjects as men do. Ask a girl what Cuba was like and she'll say, "oh theres dancing all day, it was really relaxed, the smell of the ocean is always there". They only care about the feeling, the atmosphere, the EMOTIONS that derived from it.
Likewise, in marketing, if you try to sell a hearing aid, you don't talk about how it's small or hi tech at first. No no. You talk about the MOST exciting things it brings.
Hear and understand your family!
Liberates you from pissed off family members repeating themselves!
There MUST be some aspects of your job that is exciting! Bring that up instead of boring "SOFTWARE"! Tell her about your "skills" and the invisible world hidden behind the tangible computer screen. Be like Mr Robot for all I care. Girls wear makeup. You can put makeup on your identity.

Written like a marketing master! I love it. hahaha
[–]yunhaila1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
So write it out right now. Share the most exciting parts of your work. What are some skills you can utilize to make global changes? Nationwide changes? I'm really curious. Pretend like I'm a 9 hitting on you at a bar.
[–]PliskinRed4 points5 points6 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
"What do you do?" "Software". And then they are gone.
Sounds kinda boring.
Her: "What do you do?"
You: Smirk "During the week.../9-5...software.."
Her: "And weekends?? / After 5??" (I've NEVER failed to get this response)
You: Even bigger smirk "Blondes/Brunettes, depends on the company, this and that, maybe you if you're lucky" etc...
You're as interesting as you make out to be.
[–]beachbloke2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Not "software" -- you "create the technology that fixes <XYZ big problem>". Give perspective on the consequences of you not doing what you do.
[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
When asked what you do reply with something totally outlandish, just to tease her, then change the subject. The key here is to be confident, of course. If you're uncomfortable with answering the question she'll be put off.
[–]ZT3V3N0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Say some bullshit like save puppies. No girl gives a fuck really. You can literally spend over a thousand dollars a day on your appearance/adventuring and dates. I really don't get it
[–]Sklavenmoral points points points 7 years ago [recovered] | Copy Link
There's something else going on here. I'm in software and have never, ever had it be an issue at all.
Don't get me wrong, they don't want to necessarily hear about it, but just STFU about it and you're good.
[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Drive a nice car and dress nice. Don't let them know exactly how how well off you are, but make it known that you're doing fairly well for yourself without explicitly saying it.
Also, get your ass in the gym. When I started college I was 5' 10" 130. That year I did nothing but study and lift. My 2nd year in college, I had grown an extra 2 inches and I was 175 pounds of solid muscle. All of a sudden girls were all over me. That shit makes a big difference.
[–]zachary3330 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
As a child, what did you want to be when you grow up?
As a teenager?
How did your path to "software" look like, what was the first step, why did you take it, and why did it fascinate you so much that it could become your job?
You can build a story of several minutes like this, answer the questions for more pointers. And AFTER you have sold yourself as a passionate human being you can still sell your current job.
[–]1Your_Coke_Dealer0 points1 point2 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I'm a student who's worked entry level and intern engineering jobs. That's boring af. So I'll just talk about the industries (considerably more interesting to women), or specific interesting stuff I do (3D printing or other buzzword-level cool shit). Or I just pull my routine implying but never specifically admitting I am what my username indicates
[–]GOATmar5 points6 points7 points 7 years ago (4 children) | Copy Link
Become a troll. Lift and show off an alpha physique on your profile. Leave bio blank. When messaging, use as little grammar and punctuation as possible.
Of the many themes i experimented with online, this was by far the best blueprint. Sucks as you said the ratios are terrible and the uglies have invaded, hence why i deleted the trash years ago, but it can still be fun as shit to try out.
[–]yunhaila3 points4 points5 points 7 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
What other themes did you try out?
I've tried: -the funnyman -the flex in the mirror dude -the classy suit only dude -the fun times guy
Classy suit only dude is working the best so far. Trying out model dude and workout man next.

I'm willing to bet it's working so well because girls are vacationing or new to New York City and they have a fantasy about fucking a rich NYC investment banker.
I'd keep with it.
And you might be a 1% in another country, but only a top 10% in New York. That's the difference in how you get treated.
I'm 5'8", 190lbs (scientifically boosted so not "all" fat), white and 150k a year in the rust belt and 34. I have roughly the same level of success (marginally better). So while on paper I'm much worse off than you, it really is a women only want "the best" and if you aren't making more than a million a year, you aren't 1% in New York City.

Had a Rape-themed profile that did well - in your face, christian grey, Your Body Is My Property type vibe. balanced with a hint of ridiculous humor of course. sadly matched mostly hardcore shitesting chicks that were a bit fucked in the head themselves.
a great line i remember that worked mindbottlingly good was, after establishing a solid rapport and the girl understanding your troll theme, youd just drop "oh shit girl. i cant meet you. body too nice. im afraid i wouldnt control myself and i'd rape you forreal smh" with that retarded monkey covering his eyes emoji.
if I hadnt seen great results with the ZFG account, i'd probably be running Athlete Game all day though. Shirtless pics, competition pics, flexing, trophies, sparring, all that shit. the douchier the better.

Dude, enjoy yourself. Don't change into someone you don't like or feel comfortable with just to game women.
And keep lifting. You'll need to put more time in than just a few months to really change your appearance.
Yeah i still need a lot of work! When I release my inner sass its actually more enjoyable. When I do the things I want to do and not repress myself its more enjoyable. I'm trying to move past my social conditioning. Not sure if that can be done entirely, but I think im going the right way!
[–]CraigAchilles2 points3 points4 points 7 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
In what world is 5'11 small. Get a fucking grip.
[–]RocKai1 point2 points3 points 7 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I'm in a sort of similar boat to you. In Western country I pulled less than what I am able to pull in my home country. Gets down to the rule of average everywhere you go.
Recently I have adapted to upholding a strong frame and abundance mentality (lesson learned from a rejection recently). But thanks to the rejection I have been reminded again of the Red Pill and how it holds true in social situation.
Either chicks will be into Asian or they don't. And your culture is the biggest barrier to your frame in Western world. Keep up the game and it will teaches you the way. Good luck!

It isn't your height. My brother is 4 inches shorter and even in his fifties gets approached constantly in a big city in CA. You are projecting yourself wrong; the question is how.
aggressive isn't the attitude I force out
Honestly, my gut says you might be kidding yourself about this. Do you cold approach people just to talk? Not to fuck. But just to interact? Men too?
I have a similar thing going, though not as extreme.
I go to an Ivy League for grad school here in the East Coast and do ok on tinder but not great. When I'm visiting the folks back in Oregon though I clean up.
Supply and demand.
