I already got the following

*Gym, no cardio only, weights are a must (4-6 times a week, 30-90 minutes a day), most preferably before your day starts

*Meditation (6-15 minutes)

*Good night's worth of sleep (8 hours if you're an adult)

*No junk food

*Practice holding conversations when possible (no pointless chit-chat)

*Improve your wardrobe

*Limit alcohol consumption

*Know how to groom yourself including what cologne to use

*Stay off video games, dedicate yourself to something better (dancing, cooking, etc)

*Cold showers when appropriate

*Learn to pace yourself when talking and walking

Get yourself used to absorbing a lot of information even if you can't process it right away. Train yourself so you're not scared of mental effort.

Also, learn what battles to pick and which ones to dismiss, you can't pick them all and - although it's under questioning, ego depletion might exist so while it hasn't been ruled out as garbage you do well treating will power as a exhaustible and trainable muscle -.

My personal bias insists in suggesting learning how to fight properly.

Stick to actual books. It's easier on the eyes before going to sleep and much more enjoyable IMO. I don't like e-readers. You already read enough online in today's world.

I used to use a tablet, pdf compatibility and shit, but e-readers are lightweight and the battery lasts forever.
Don't be cheap, get one with the best resolution you can. Makes some difference.

I recommend a kindle. Books are cheaper electronically and you can get through them faster.

I'll read 1 or 2 books a week on my kindle but with paper books it'll take me a week or two a book.

When I read a book on kindle I really like I buy a physical copy and put it on my bookshelf.

That's too many to qualify as non-negotiable. Plus do you improve your wardrobe every day?

My non-negotiable are:

  1. sleep enough
  2. eat well
  3. lift regularly

I make a point checking often to ensure that those three are still happening. If one of them slips out, I tell myself to stop everything until those three are back on track. They are the foundational rock upon which everything else is based.

What exactly do you mean improve wardrobe everyday? Like buying clothes daily? Every paycheck I've been investing more in clothes to refine my wardrobe. So far it's been great. But, id like to hear what you do as well.

I meant that I don't consider "improve your wardrobe" a non-negotiable, because to me non-negotiables are by definition the most basic necessities. If you're not lifting regularly, or if you're eating junkfood, or if yo spend your nights gaming rather than sleeping, you have problems to deal with that are more urgent to fix than buying a new jacket.

It could also be something like swimming, hiking, martial arts, etc. It doesn't have to be jogging like most people think.

Why are so many people against cardio, the human body is literally designed to run miles upon miles a day there are only a few animals that can outrun(distance not speed) us and one of them we specifically bred to do it and thats the Sled dog

and before everyone either starts going on marathons or trying to argue that cardio is useless, you can start implementing cardio in your daily routine by going up the stairs instead of using the elevator and biking to your destination instead of driving your car everywhere.

I think many makes a mistake about what cardio is. When people read cardio they instantly think about running 5k and 10k, while perhaps the best cardio is pushing a prowler, farmer walks or HIIT. You'll save so much time and its just as effective for your health

Joe Rogan Experience is my main suggestion, search on this and the main forum I'm pretty sure there are a lot of great suggestions.

Edit: Find something related to your field as well, and find FB groups and such to be a part of. Building a strong network of people who can vouch that you know your shit is invaluable.

You don't need to do weight training- some people simply can't, and for others it is just unwise- but you need to do something physical. If it's not weight training it's something like swimming. You don't need to look like you just stepped off the set to a photo shoot but you do need to look like you're in shape, rather than being a shape.

Plus, you do want some cardio.

A good quality sleep is more important than anything else. US soldiers learn to make do with 4 hours and basically train their bodies into hitting that REM stage ASAP. 8 hours of sleep is meaningless if the quality is dog shit.

Eh, broadly I agree. Whether or not it's OK comes back to whether or not you have self control.

Stay off video games, dedicate yourself to something better (dancing, cooking, etc)

Video games are a perfectly valid hobby, but in the broad strokes people do not have healthy relationships with it. They play a team game like DOTA or Overwatch solo and that just leads to a lot of frustration because pairing you out with a team of strangers to fight strangers is a recipe for anger and hundreds of wasted hours. I tend to stress being realistic about your hobbies. If you play video games you should either be the best at it, or have it feed into a broader hobby like programing. I don't see you coding, and I know for a fact you're not hitting the top leagues and going pro in whatever you're playing.

Cold showers when appropriate

Cold showers should be the default. Hot showers are a reward for a good work out- they relax your muscles.

Anything else to add to this list?

Clean up your diet. Eat foods that allow your body to naturally regulate itself the way it was biologically intended to, don't eat carb laden foods that will put your body on a glycemic treadmill constantly chasing after the next meal.

Read.

Expanding on my bit about video games, hobbies should serve a purpose. Any hobby that serves a purpose should be treated different than ones you engage in for their own sake.

As a competitive video game player I think they are valid. Depending on your usage, and if you use them for positive means. Thanks to fighting Games I travel all over, meet new people, created more discipline, and it's been a great addition to my life.

Balance is key though. So I still do much more and regulate my time.

My must haves are

Waking up early and working out, cooking, workout before the day starts

Creating art and learning music

Practice healthy skincare routines

Eating well

Never drinking
