This is inspired by the ridiculous post about how being tall is not a huge genetic advantage. It’s one thing to see some hairy ass Indian with a 3-inch dick slip a crybaby post in. But a tall dude? Is this clown-world?

Here is the proper way to post about uncontrollable features, good or bad. I’m 6’5’’ and here are some things YOU might be doing wrong as a tall guy.

  1. As a tall guy, it is an evolutionary instinct to make yourself “smaller” in order to fit in a social setting. I was not aware of this for a long time. When I began to actively force myself to stand like I was 5’2’’ I saw drastic results. You negate any power your height gives you if the short dude next to you has better posture. Do you know that rare feeling you get when you’re standing next to a guy taller than you? You know how it actually feels good in a weird way? It feels good because you are standing straight and actively claiming your space for once. Stand like that all the time.

  2. When standing and talking in a group, you cannot speak at the same volume as everyone else. You actually have to speak slightly louder and project your voice downward to be heard. In my younger years I always remembered how hard it was to involve myself in a conversation in this scenario. It’s because no one can fuckin' hear me. Either that or I just seemed to be meekly making quiet comments, which is even worse. A stronger voice is always good to work on, but it’s a requirement if you’re tall.

  3. Most important point: Being tall automatically thrusts a burden of expectation upon you. In any situation, people subconsciously expect personalities to align with physical appearances. The short man must overcome this by commanding authority and being assertive. The tall man must meet the expectation of commanding authority and being assertive. If you have any problems related to your height, I can promise you it’s this. People have a disconnect with your stature and the way you carry yourself. You know what’s more pathetic than a beta? A tall guy who is a beta. People recognize this. Meet your expectations, and you will fully realize the advantage you were born with.
