Ran across this debunk of fat-phobia recently.

To be honest, I didn't even watch the whole thing. There are a million videos fisking yet another land whale going on and on about how men should not have their innate preferences.

When I saw the name of that video though, it called to mind a point that needs to be stressed.

Liberals are always on and on about imputed fear. 'Islamophobia', 'homophobia', 'transphobia', 'men can't handle a strong, independent wamyn', 'men are intimidated by me', 'fragile masculinity', 'weak male egos', these five leftie phobias I haven't run across yet in the wild, etc.

This is nonsense. The r-selected lefties, are indeed quite fearful. The assume everyone operates the same way. Furthermore, their own weakness disgusts them. To cope with that, the project it on everyone else. If we're all cowards, they can feel better about themselves - so they project, pretending that we are in fact cowards.

What is the truth?
Not fear, but disgust.
If you look up moral foundation theory, you can learn about the 5 basic drivers of morality: Care, Fairness, Loyalty/ingroup, Respecting authority, Sanctity or purity.
All ideologies manifest the first two. Only the right tends to manifest the last three.

It thus turns out that, unacquainted with these moral sentiments, the left assumes that disgust (an aspect of sanctity/purity) for trannies, gays, fatties, sluts, street-shitting, etc is somehow fear.

It thus turns out that loyalty to one's group becomes, in the eyes of the left, fear of Islam or racism or 'white nationalism'. The 14 words ("We must secure the existence of white people and a future for our children") is thus somehow racist, as opposed to simply a statement of loyalty to one's own group.

The stunted and limited moral development of the left leads them to mis-label disgust and loyalty as fear and racism.
