A little background Info

I have written this post/video to help guys that do not have optimal test levels. I remember before I lifted and ate good I used to have the test levels of a CUCK and would be cringe as a fuck during every social interactions. Upon fixing up my hormones the game actually became a fuck ton easier. Many times your success with women isn't due to a lack of technical skill. You suck because you don't have the drive. You have the test levels of a 80 year old granny you don't even want to fucking succeed. Fix your T levels and come back to me like a rising Phoenix.

How to boost testosterone levels naturally

In this post I will be going over 5 scientifically proven ways to boost testosterone levels, but first let’s talk about why your testosterone levels are incredibly important for your general well being:

Testosterone is androgen hormone that is crucial for the development of masculine traits within males. Testosterone levels are correlated with:

• Increased libido: testosterone is a sex hormone which has direct effects on your libido. Men with low libidos are often diagnosed with having low testosterone levels and are put on testosterone replacement therapy.

• Increased muscle mass: testosterone levels have a direct impact on the amount of muscle mass you can build. Generally men with higher levels are able to pack on more size on their frame.

• Increased bone density: Some studies have actually shown testosterone to play an important role in bone density.

• Decreasing chances of Alzheimer’s disease, various studies have shown low levels of testosterone to having being linked to Alzheimers

• Studies have indicated that low levels of testosterone might be linked with depression, many people who have suffered from low test levels have attested to the huge improvement gained upon increasing their levels.

A general trend has been observed by researchers of men’s testosterone levels lowering over the years. A big decline has been noted over the past 30 years. These changes are most likely the result of changes in the modern diet and lifestyle.

Now let’s go over 5 ways in which you can boost your testosterone levels naturally:

5. Exercise and lift weights

Men who exercise frequently are often associated with having higher test levels. Resistance training (using weights) has been noted to be the most effective method for building test levels up in the short term and long term. So if you want to boost your levels make sure you get on a good strength training program that has you doing big compound movements such as squats and deadlifts.

For beginners I suggest Strong lifts or even the Starting strength program my Mark Rippletoe. H.I.I.T Cardio which involves repeated bouts of high intensity work is often better for stimulating test levels than slower paced treadmill work. If you are doing some cardio choose to hit a bag or do barbell complexes over the elliptical machine if you want that test boost.

4. Minimize Stress and Cortisol levels

Long term stress whether from a boss who won’t give you a break, or unpaid bills can lead to increases in cortisol levels. High cortisol levels are devastating for test levels. Picture your hormones as kind of like a see saw. One of them goes up, the other goes down. You must do all that’s within your power to keep those cortisol levels down. Some things that you could consider doing to lower stress are:

• Meditation ( scientifically proven to lower stress)

• Deep Breathing ( as Elliot hulse says ‘breath into your balls’), sometimes “Deep breathing counters the effects of stress by slowing the heart rate and lowering blood pressure,” psychologist Judith Tutin, PhD, says

• Keep away from excessive use of stimulants, perhaps your 10 cups of coffee a day are having something to do with you elevated test levels, if you still want your man parts to work, perhaps it’s time you ease up on the caffeine.

3. Eat more fat

Sounds crazy doesn’t it? You have always been told to keep away from fat yet ‘dietary fat’ plays an important role in optimizing your natural testosterone levels.

A study published in the Journal of Applied Physiology found that diets with higher amounts of monounsaturated and saturated fats have been shown to increase testosterone levels.

There is a point of diminishing returns however, an appropriate level dietary fat for testosterone production should fall somewhere in the ball park of 25-40% of your daily calories. Play around with these numbers to see what works for you.

Some good sources of fats that you could add into your diet are:

• Avocados ( my personal favourite )

• Almonds

• Peanut Butter

• Olive oil

• Egg yolk ( do not be afraid of the yolk )

2. Increase the zinc in your diet

The mineral zinc has been known to produce a favourable environment for test production; if your levels are low you might suffer. Zinc can be easily supplemented with pills but for the best result make sure you try get most of your Zinc from real foods. Eat the following to increase your levels:

• Protein rich meats

• Fish

• Oysters

• Crabs

1. Get more sleep

This last one should be a no brainer, make sure you are getting a proper amount of sleep and are not walking around like a zombie. A lack of sleep has been shown to be detrimental to testosterone production.

Research at the University of Chicago recorded the sleeping patterns of healthy men and found that the subjects' testosterone levels increased the longer they slept. 7-9 hours was noted to be the best in order to optimize the testosterone response.

An important note: the quality of sleep might be more important than the quantity of sleep. To ensure that you are getting adequate sleep at night I suggest you:

• Have a come down period where you de-load and get away from high stimulus material such as television and the internet. Tim Ferris suggests reading fiction books before sleep to ease your mind.

• Don’t drink too much water before the bed, or you will ruin your deep sleep each time you have to get up and run to the toilet.

• Use a white noise machine or play some binaural beats to ease yourself into bed

So those are 5 ways in which you can boost your testosterone levels. Your testosterone is one of the most important hormones in your body. If you want to live the good life, it is your reasonability that you do all that is within your control to keep them levels high. Just remember, if you aren’t waking up with some oak wood every morning. There is work that can be done! Let’s begin.

Good luck bros

Missed a big one that I think a lot of us are guilty of, but alcohol greatly reduces testosterone. Keep those weekends reasonable.

I just dont drink anymore. I find the feeling of it disgusting now, and its a waste of money and life

[–]MrJanglesLovesBooty144 points45 points  (1 child) | Copy

I quit drinking in September. Still have a lot of improving to do, but I haven't felt this good in a long time.

[–]VanRedPill0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

So what do you find yourself drinking when you go out with some friends to the bar?

[–][deleted] 32 points33 points  (13 children) | Copy

Its pretty much impossible to date young girls in Toronto without drinking :(

Not because of the nerve calming effects but because she will think im weird for not drinking.

[–]Da_Penetrator200 points201 points  (4 children) | Copy

Couldn’t you just drink maple syrup instead

As a fellow Torontonian, this is just in your head. Drink a straight club soda and nobody will even notice. Just make sure you have high energy and fun playful attitude. I like to have 1-3 drinks on the night to loosen up but you could easily do it sober.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy

What about on 1 on 1 dates. Same thing?

[–]JackieBronassis29 points30 points  (0 children) | Copy

1:1 dates are a zero alcohol game. Keep your wits, and good breath. If you absolutely need a shot, drink one vodka tonic, or gin & tonic. Follow up with straight soda water. Only 1 shot per hour, 3 shots per date, tops. Your drinking game is on point, so you can metabolize this easily, while maintaining control.

Drink your drinks slow on dates. Everything you do should be slow and deliberate, anyhow. Show her that you have control in this, as well as every aspect your life.

Beer makes your breath smell awful, and you’ll be peeing every 5 minutes. Best to avoid it altogether.

[–]Nitsujsith6 points7 points  (0 children) | Copy

That a weak frame. You are seeking approval from others

[–]EscortSportage0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

bruh, go to the bar and a seltzer water/club soda and lime, the broads will think your drinking voda/soda and its much cheaper.

Likewise, brother. Aside from a beer every few months or maybe a sip of liquor if it's a special occasion or it's a rare bottle, I just don't find it worth it.

[–]bbmc7gm6fm17 points18 points  (0 children) | Copy

Sugar and alcohol have ruined many of my days.

[–]Saberinbed15 points16 points  (4 children) | Copy

Stress is probably by far the biggest factor IMO when it comes to test levels. I’m a pretty avid lifter and been lifting for 3 years. probably one of the biggest guys at my gym. When i was blue pilled and went through relationship problems, at the gym i felt like a fucking weak bitch. Never pushed myself. Didint care about working out as much. Would avoid social interactions. would stop being a fun, positive, and witty person that i was before.

Managing stress is crucial, as everyone these days has something that they stress about.

[–]2Joeycrackem[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

I agree bro. I remember one week I was stressed the fuck out and literally lost like 4kgs and was as weak as a kitten.

[–]Phaeer 1 points1 points [recovered] | Copy

It really shows how much people here actually know about working out when they believe a guy who says he is one of the biggest guys in the gym talking about stress is the biggest factor for his test levels and not the test he injects 1-2 times a week.

You are not even in the same league as the guys on juice if you are natty and every gym has loads of guys on gear, so you are either lying about being one of the biggest guys in the gym or that stress has any effect on you juiced up test levels.

I have no problem if you use gear but at least be honest about it.

[–]Saberinbed3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy

I said ONE OF. Meaning i am bigger than most guys in the gym. Obviously the area i go to may not have a lot of roided out people, but there are some juice heads that go there. I really don’t know what your definition of “big” really means. Mine is at the time i workout there, i’m bigger than 90-95% of people working out there.

There is a way to look big without taking juice. Its called staying at 12-17% bodyfat. If you go below 10% you’l be depleted as fuck and look small.

You really don’t think stress affects your lifts? Are you trolling? Go through some real hardship in your life and tell me how that affects your workouts.

Stress = loss of appetite, loss of sleep, loss of motivation, anxiety, you really dont think that affects your test levels and gym performance?

[–]2Joeycrackem[S] 22 points23 points  (0 children) | Copy

That's true brother! Thanks for the add.

Imagine not attending a party and getting drunk with friends because 'don't want to lower testosterone levels '

[–]MrJanglesLovesBooty127 points28 points  (0 children) | Copy

You can still party without booze, or keeping it to a few drinks. I'd avoid beer as well.

[–]sweeptheleg5536 points37 points  (6 children) | Copy

They aren't your friends if you need alcohol to have fun. Thats a hard lesson to learn in life. But if you can find people you have fun doing anything with youre gonna have a lot better time

[–]JackieBronassis10 points11 points  (5 children) | Copy

Yep. I quit drinking a year ago. Had to get all new friends. Even ended up hating my best friend. It took some time, but now I have a blast sober with new people, and it is pretty low effort.

Also, if someone thinks you suck because you don’t drink. Fuck ‘em. They don’t have to hang around you.

[–]stretnuh6 points7 points  (3 children) | Copy

How did you go about finding new friends? I'm coming to the realisation that most of my friendships are, to some degree, based around alcohol.

[–]JackieBronassis3 points4 points  (2 children) | Copy

Mostly through the passage of time. I don’t go out of my way to attend social events where booze is prevalent, because drunk people are annoying now. Instead I do a lot of outdoor stuff.

[–]rogankid88 1 points1 points [recovered] | Copy

So just say outdoor stuff, don't give an essay.

[–]1empatheticapathetic-1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy

You'll display the type of behaviour you ideally want to extract from being 'higher T' by drinking on a night out than by staying sober because your inhibitions are lower.

[–]maplemaximus7 points8 points  (18 children) | Copy

Thought big bro was about to mentioning beating our meats.

[–]redd_reality32 points33 points  (4 children) | Copy

Technically, ejaculation doesn't effect testosterone levels. But personally, jerkin it kills my sex drive. Whether it's psychological or hormonal, abstaining makes a huge difference for me personally.

Sex is different in that it's almost a reward for having high enough smv and good enough game. The reward is the payoff for making it to the finish line, so to speak.

[–][deleted] 10 points11 points  (3 children) | Copy

When not jerking, my sex drive goes out of control. I should be locked up in an animal cage.

[–]Endorsed ContributorMetalgear2229 points10 points  (1 child) | Copy

I feel this. In the gym surrounded by yoga pants after 3-4 days of heavy lifting with no orgasms. I borderline think about ravaging even a 6 rofl. The struggle is real.

[–]redd_reality1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

It's like your sex drive is out of control, but your over all level of self control has increased also. The key is to always be channeling it into some productive endeavour and keeping busy, it seems.

[–]redd_reality-1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy

Some days I gotta do a set of squats to pull the blood into my quads before I bench. Don't wanna start a riot when all the cardio bunnies spot the hammer making its debut while I'm repping 315.

[–]TheRealJesusChristus8 points9 points  (12 children) | Copy

Yeah im sure not jerking helps too. Your balls will start to tell you to get the fuck in bed with a girl, and they tell you by producing more testo.

[–]BCA14 points5 points  (1 child) | Copy

My balls literally feel twice their size after a week of not spanking the bishop

[–]JohnnyDildonics2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

And some say the grinch's balls grew three sizes that day :)

[–]CalfReddit1 point2 points  (9 children) | Copy

Yep after 7 days not jerking your testosterone peaks. It declines after that though, so #nofap doesn't bring testosterone benefits

[–]TheRealJesusChristus5 points6 points  (7 children) | Copy

So 7 days nofap, fap, 7 days nofap, fap, etc.... i like this lol

[–]JohnnyDildonics2 points3 points  (5 children) | Copy

this nofap thing sounds cultish IMHO, like all the backed up jizz is no good for your prostate as you get older my dudes. This 7 day thing sounds like a great compromise between addiction and reasonable release, though. That and you can make sure to not have wimpy loads when duty calls and you need to spray some face.

[–]TheRealJesusChristus1 point2 points  (4 children) | Copy

As Im still virgin: whats better? Jerking before a date where you think you gonna get laid or not jerking before it? I mean i observed that i last longer when i already jerked one day.

[–]JohnnyDildonics0 points1 point  (3 children) | Copy

I find that most virgins actually struggle to get it up on the first fuck, everything can be so awkward. With that in mind, I suggest no jerking before a date unless you are so horny it is clouding your mind. Or if she's so hot that just brushing up against her butt gives you wood. Otherwise, for most average chicks (likely given this is your first lay/ date thing) it works better to have more semen in the demon. Also your loads will be better if she's into finishing on her chest or face.

[–]TheRealJesusChristus1 point2 points  (2 children) | Copy

Ok thanks. This actually should be teached in sex ed, because where should one know that from? Instead I learned how anal sex works if i would be gay (nobody in my class was gay, as far as i know).

[–]JohnnyDildonics0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

also... even if you're wearing a condom... DONT JIZZ INSIDE HER! If you're not in some sort of committed relationship, spare yourself the anguish of baby scares, wrap your tool, and spew your load on her tits (or sheets if she's not into it.) Lots of chicks like the nut bust though, so make sure you bust one or she will feel inadequate since i'm sure you know most girls are very insecure at your age range.

[–]thefisherman19612 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy

Beer kills my T more than any other kind of alcoholic beverage

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy

When I drink for a few days at a time, I’m always tired, and more likely to be depressed and anxious.

[–]Riace0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

And sugar, sadly. Cut it out completely and after a month you will the positive effects.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points  (4 children) | Copy

But reduces cortisol;) actually noticed better gains and recovery with a few beers throughout the week

[–]TheRealJesusChristus1 point2 points  (3 children) | Copy

It depends on how much as always. I heard of studys (to lazy to search the link) that a glass of red wine is good because it helps your „good“ bacteria. It kills of course all of them (or at least a certain ammount) and the body helps the good ones to regrow fast while the bad ones have to regrow on their own. So you will always have enough good ones without getting too much bad ones. So thats the understanding I have about this. But the important part is: only one glass and not more. If you drink more chances of cancer outweigh the positive effects of the small ammount of alcohol. Because alcohol desolves your stomach barrier, and your body has to regrow that, too. And when this regrowing process has to happen to fast, it increases chances of cancer.

I am sure you can find studys like this on mass in google. But i am on mobile and in this moment i am not having a wifi module so I am on my data plan. So sorry that you have to search it on your own.

[–]Kinbaku_enthusiast5 points6 points  (2 children) | Copy

I think further studies showed that instead of red wine, a glass of grape juice had all the same benefits, IIRC

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Or a cup of blueberries a day. Really is a super fruit.

[–]BurnoutRS0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Yeah didn they conclude that the benefits were from the chemical constituents of grapes and had nothing to do with the alcohol content?

CONCLUSIONS: Glucose ingestion induces a significant reduction in total and free T levels in men

Sugar is literally everywhere in our western diets. Unless you're consciously trying to limit your sugar intake, you're probably consuming a shitload of sugar.

Personally, I believe that the upswing of sugar in our diets in the last 50 years is responsible for the corresponding decline in testosterone over the same period.

[–]Troll_Name62 points63 points  (8 children) | Copy

It's a perfect storm - no one cause is completely to blame.

Diets wrecked. Families destroyed. Schools turned away from their purpose. The engineering of modern society isn't a simple matter.

[–][deleted] 19 points20 points  (6 children) | Copy

And just lack of physical activity generally. 50 years ago kids just played played sports outside all summer and during recess.

[–]Rollo_Mayhem317 points18 points  (5 children) | Copy

bro, we did that 20 years ago... riding bikes over town for miles, handball, you name it...all summer sun up to sun down..recess was the best!...freeze tag, stick ball, kickball, tackle football and the occasional fist fight. you had one busted ass female teacher sitting on a milkcrate, dngaf..

[–]cenie3 points4 points  (2 children) | Copy

Shit, there were days we'd keep going even after dark. Night tag was awesome.

[–]aaasssaaa110 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

I don't think we had internet cafes.

[–]InstigatingDrunk1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

A perfect storm is pretty good way to describe it. I always suspect the elite are aware of this and encourage this shit to maintain control of the masses.

[–]Mylominderbinder15 points16 points  (0 children) | Copy

Yea sugar is the secret ingredient to keeping people hooked on shitty food.

[–]BigMawsmidget23 points24 points  (1 child) | Copy

You're correct about that sugar at this point is literally worse than any drug save maybe Meth. Only thing about people here and elsewhere they assume you mean fruits or veggies, but I'm saying things like donuts, cookies, or other bullshit like that.

[–]TheRealJesusChristus15 points16 points  (0 children) | Copy

Literally sitting here with a bag of cookies. Had to lol about that... but in reality its sad......

[–]LoneWolf15572 points3 points  (5 children) | Copy

What about natural sugars in fruits? I eat an apple some grapes and a banna daily but only have 6-12 grams of added sugar a day

[–]CalfReddit0 points1 point  (4 children) | Copy

You're probably safe. Fruits contain fibers. Do not overeat them though

[–]somebullshitrp0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Yes, if you look at the study, it's really about refined sugars.

[–]Emstario-2 points-1 points  (2 children) | Copy

You literally can't over eat fruit, another retarded myth. Fruit is amazing for you

[–]CalfReddit5 points6 points  (1 child) | Copy

Uh? You can overeat anything, your statement is nonsense. Plus, fruit still contains sugars..

[–]Emstario0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Our bodies are more than equipped to handle the sugar in fruit. And I was saying it's basically impossible to overeat fruit to the point where the sugar becomes a problem.

[–]BigMawsmidget21 points22 points  (22 children) | Copy

Yup even though this has been told before it's something that everyone needs to be reminded of.

Maybe someone can correct me on this, but fasting does help as well, and no I'm not here to advocate for Ketosis or anything.

[–]2Joeycrackem[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children) | Copy

Sometimes we need to come back to the basics.

[–]TorboLeto4 points5 points  (20 children) | Copy

Why do you mention that, are people against keto diets around here or something?

[–]BigMawsmidget4 points5 points  (15 children) | Copy

Because anytime it gets mentioned people around here like to neg it to no tomorrow. Most of the time both it and intermittent fasting are talked about at same time in most posts.

[–]RedPilledGodEmperor4 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy

Intermittent fasting and working out in a fasted state are very good for fat burning and testosterone. Definitely notice I look even leaner since I have been doing it.

[–]fanturnedon 1 points1 points [recovered] | Copy

For good reason. For every study ketoers cite, there's 10 others saying the complete opposite. You can't go wrong with a moderate unsaturated fats, a little saturated fats, non processed carbs, and proteins diet with plenty of fiber. No one argues against it. At all. Keto, though? There's more than enough evidence to drop that diet because it will possibly fuck you up in the long run, but it has such a cult like following that just for saying this I will probably get a bunch of butthurt replies about how I'm a stupid ignorant cunt and should eat my Twinkies and drink my beer and get diabetes in silence because, you know, of you eat carbs it must surely be Twinkies and beer.

Keto is for fatties at heart who don't have the discipline to learn healthy eating habits. It's a shortcut to staying lean without effort.

[–]BigMawsmidget0 points1 point  (12 children) | Copy

So cutting away fast food, cookies, cereal, etc, and even staying around the 35 grams of sugar for men(Been recommended with science backing for the longest)you're telling me that's going to fuck you up in the long run?

All you need is Protein, Fats, and some carbs as in veggies and some fruit.

Sugar must be a problem otherwise how the fuck do you explain the up-swing in waist sizes since even just the 80s for fucks sake.

Don't get it twisted though I'm not always going to be on Low-carb or Keto for that matter, but proof doesn't lie. I'm lost 200 pounds on this lifestyle and others have already said more of the same.

I will have a cheat day every once in awhile because DQ Blizzards are fucking awesome, but the standard American diet is fucked if you don't see it then God help you because I won't be able to show you.

[–]BigLebowskiBot1 point2 points  (3 children) | Copy

Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

Some of what it’s based on seems to make sense though. About sugars and starches not being good and the fact that way back humans used to eat a lot of fatty meat and didn’t make breads and stuff

[–]eccentricrealist0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Some people treat keto like others treat nofap. For example, I'm abstaining from jerking it but not because of the superpowers, rather, the delayed gratification. All keto does is lower your caloric consumption (if you don't go overboard) as fat is more filling than carbs.

[–]SKRedPill22 points23 points  (7 children) | Copy

He went from 393 ng/dl to 826 ng/dl in 4 months.

Professional athletes sleep as many as 10-12 hours daily.

Also, beware of xenoestrogens - they're found everywhere in plastic. Drink water or milk or juice only in glass or metal vessels. Nothing hot should ever be kept in plastic, especially microwave.

Get a lot of natural light. If you can, try avoiding artificial light all together and let sunlight dictate your circadian rhythms once a month.

And vitamin K2, damn where was it all this time? That's really healthy for the bones and preventing heart disease. Western diets are terribly poor in it.

[–]1Captain_Save_A_Hoe_5 points6 points  (3 children) | Copy

Sounds extremely dubious that someone can essentially double their test by adding a few extremely obnoxious minor habits. However I do believe you might be healthier from doing nofap/cold showers&baths for a short period of time before you build a tolerance to it as it boosts the immune system and lets you produce adrenaline.

[–]SKRedPill0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

I did that once for one week when I was up in the mountains and bathing in pure, cold river water. Never felt so good since I was in school.

Exercise and diet does amazing things for your system. Minor habits, yes, but this is Man 101.

He never published what times he took his tests at. If he took a T test at 4pm, it's going to be waaaaay lower than if he took it at 8am. Brett seems like a great guy, but he makes money off of views, so he has an incentive to inflate results.

[–]SKRedPill1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy

Wait a min, you say that T-levels drop off in the afternoon? Hell, is that why I feel sleepy (apart from the effects of lunch?)

Come to think of it, I never felt sleepy in the afternoon when I was lifting and running regularly.

[–]RoughTeddy0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Free testosterone drops, which is different than your body just getting sapped of all T.

Sounds like you just need to get your exercise habit back to keep high energy levels!

[–]2Joeycrackem[S] 93 points94 points  (11 children) | Copy

Lets get these fucking Test levels up.

[–]Ben_Eszes0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

I agree, the national SAT scores are pretty low nowadays.

Regarding your post, I'd also add that sometimes just thinking/acting like someone with high testosterone will do the trick. Reference the studies that show that power poses will temporarily increase testosterone. Basically, the way you carry yourself has an impact on your levels.

[–]SnickeringBear-4 points-3 points  (9 children) | Copy

Consistent exercise that also has an element of satisfaction in a job done is the ticket. Get an axe and chop wood. It has been proven to increase testosterone levels more than most other forms of exercise. I use a chainsaw but get the same effect.

[–]PinkySlayer48 points49 points  (7 children) | Copy

No, you fucking don't. There is literally ABSOLUTELY NO WAY you get the same result chopping a cord of wood by hand as you do with a chainsaw. That is literally the same as saying you burn as many calories jogging a marathon as you do driving the same distance. I can't even fathom how you would think using a chainsaw would ever compare to using an ax.

[–]SnickeringBear0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

I think you missed the point entirely. Hard physical labor has an effect. The more strenuous the labor, the more the effect. One mile of walking/running will burn somewhere in the neighborhood of 85 to 100 calories and takes less than 10 minutes. One hour running a chainsaw felling trees will burn 1000 calories. 3 hours hard work with a chainsaw would put most readers of this thread on their butt the rest of the day. If you don't believe, try running a saw and see how much of a man you are. I spent 5 hours Saturday felling and sawing up 31 trees in the 8 to 10 inch diameter range. Keep your chain sharp!!!!

[–]PinkySlayer0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

OK, but that isn't at all what you described in your first post. Sure, I can agree that running a saw for 5 hours is equivalent to using an ax for one hour. But your post very clearly came across as you saying that using an ax and a chainsaw would produce the same effect when that's only true if you use a chainsaw for much much longer than an ax.

[–]peeng_newt0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

It's not the same brush up on hormones and neurotransmitters

[–]NSFWIssue-5 points-4 points  (3 children) | Copy

You haven't ever used a chainsaw, have you?

[–][deleted] 9 points10 points  (2 children) | Copy

Uhhh. Used a chainsaw for years and years. And a many of those years it was for 8 hours a day. Its nowhere near as strenuous as splitting wood with an aaxe. I have no idea where you're going with this.

[–]NSFWIssue-3 points-2 points  (1 child) | Copy

I did both for years as well, still do. They are very different but using a chainsaw is strenuous in its own way and it's not as vastly different as the guy I was responding to makes it seem. Guess it also depends on how you are actually doing both. I chopped and cut down standing/fallen trees, I wasn't just dividing logs.

I'm not arguing that a chainsaw is just as difficult as manual chopping. But physical labor is physical labor.

[–]PinkySlayer-1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy

I have used a chainsaw hundreds of times, I use one multiple times a year to clear wood at my family's property. I never claimed that operating a chainsaw was effortless it obviously requires work as well, and YOU may not have claimed using one was the same as using an ax, but the guy I responded to did, and anyone that thinks that is literally too stupid to even grasp the concept of a labor saving device. Using an ax is exponentially more laborious than using a chainsaw, I can't believe that is even being debated.

[–]I_Sank_Atlantis1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

This is some Cosmo level bullshit. You should post this right up next to "10 sexy uses for sandpaper".

[–]redvelvet_oreo18 points19 points  (4 children) | Copy

One thing that effected me for a while and not realizing it was NOT eating enough calories per day. Before TRP I use to just eat a 1200 - 1500 calorie diet while doing HIIT x 2 times a week and lifting free weights 3 times a week. I was in good shape but my T levels were shot. I could not figure it out for a while. Then after deciding to bulk up I realized the difference. Honestly I would get erect after having a good meal and walk around for a while after lol. I didnt really have problems getting it up but with the calorie surplus and lifting I was horny quite often. Also some Alpha tendencies did to flow more naturally then feeling like I had to try all the time.

[–]avocadowithsalt1236 points7 points  (1 child) | Copy

I had similar experience, related to diet. But not woth calorie deficit but with not eating carbs. I was on protein / fat that is low carb diet for years. Everything was seemingly ok but after I introduced carbs to my diet (at moment 2200kcal daily on 80kg, macro ratio 30c 30f 40p) I felt thousands of positive changes.

[–]redvelvet_oreo4 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy

yeah mines was a low carb diet as well. As much as I like a low carb diet I do feel you should not be doing 0 carbs. I think you need some amount to fuel your body properly. I realize in ketosis the idea is fuel your body not using carbs but im not sure how well that works with male hormones.

Tip# 0: Stop masturbating.

After day 7 you get a spike in test, in your blood(key point) at which point your androgen receptors regrow and take that test to use, as time goes on, you grow more and more androgen receptors, using more of that elevated test in your blood.

this is to reference the dumbasses that say "test goes back down after day seven" it doesn't, your body just uses more of it now that you stopped marinating yourself in your own semen.

Also, not only do I wake up with oak wood, I have oak wood multiple times throughout the day.

[–]Disaster53238522 points23 points  (3 children) | Copy

[–]warburgio20 points21 points  (15 children) | Copy

Wouldn't sex have similar effects?

[–]markinsinz714 points15 points  (3 children) | Copy

While all answers are somewhat on point, its oxytocin which is only released during sex and not masturbation. Scoring a hottie gives a high and mental boost similar to a big personal achievement like getting that big job, making big money, or whatever it is to you until ofcourse you get laid regularly with hotties then the oxytocin gets reduced in levels but it's still there cause uve satisfied biological urges

[–]ShadowOfAnIdea34 points35 points  (2 children) | Copy

You can also get that oxytocin by cradling your moobies while you tug

[–]vic_rattle1822 points23 points  (0 children) | Copy

[–]CocoaDynoBites62 points63 points  (9 children) | Copy

[–]2Joeycrackem[S] 61 points62 points  (4 children) | Copy

Can confirm, when I used to fap I would feel tired and lethargic as fuck. Sex has the opposite effect for me.

[–]Augustuscrassus14 points15 points  (3 children) | Copy

I feel this too. Although after sex and the day after I'm usually extremely calm. Jacking off takes 0 effort but sex is a workout. Usually my quads and abs are a bit sore after sex but I skip legs and hate core.

[–]2Joeycrackem[S] 12 points13 points  (2 children) | Copy

Them deadlifts are for sex gains.

[–]Augustuscrassus1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy

To be honest with you, ever since I started working out I last a hell of alot longer than I used to. I'm still recovering from soccer last season. PCL sprain and baker's cyst in my right and left knee accordingly. I have to skip squats at the moment but they help my endurance in bed a ton.

[–]SwanRonsonX0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

sorry to hear about that. Maybe lighter sumo deadlifts and machine/isolation work could suffice until you recover? Or maybe dumbbell goblet squats?

[–][deleted] 14 points15 points  (0 children) | Copy

Yea it must know the difference evolutionarily, because any primate can wack itself off. If wacking off was as rewarding as sex we'd all just wack off all day.

[–]NSFWIssue2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy

I mean you'd have to be pretty damn stupid in the first place to think that masturbation is in any way physiologically the same as sex

[–]warburgio6 points7 points  (0 children) | Copy

I dont know. With some girls it seems the same, plus you cant throw them to the bin afterwards

[–][deleted] 39 points40 points  (8 children) | Copy

Can confirm. When I fap I need like 10 hours of sleep every night and I'm still tired during the day and have zero drive to get laid. When I can manage nofap I am totally good and energetic on 7-8 hours and will actively approach women and magically be very smooth/funny in conversation with them.

I always have trouble going on nofap during the bleak Canadian winter, just not very much to cope with boredom compared to the summer.

[–]reluctantly_red23 points24 points  (5 children) | Copy

If I'm sexually frustrated I tend to want to get laid too much -- and make bad decisions as a result. Sometimes I jerk off before I go out just so I can be more mellow -- women can sense it when you're too thirsty.

Regarding winter -- get the fuck out of the house. I lived in Edmonton Alberta for 20 years. Winter was the best time to pick up women (having sex is one of the few things to do when its minus 40 outside).

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (3 children) | Copy

women may sense you're thirsty therefore more likely to want to fuck as you'll be hungrier as apposed to some sissified loser?

[–]Rollo_Mayhem37 points8 points  (0 children) | Copy

there is "thirsty" and there is "desperate." Both guys have sex on their mind but one is not pushing it so hard that it's a turn off because he did not take the time to build attraction.

[–]reluctantly_red1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy

"Sissified loser"? I can guarantee you'd never say that to my face.

Regardless, this no frap stuff is total BS.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

I'm assuming you took my reply quite literally, i'm referring to the amount of men who jack off and give their sexuality to the pixels on their screen

[–]Endorsed Contributorvandaalen5 points6 points  (0 children) | Copy

Can you also already shift through semen coloured objects? What about levitation?

[–]_-_--_-_1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy

The only way I can cope with urges is to start doing push ups. I haven't tried jumping in the shower but I don't think it would work well for me. I've been working out like a mad man too. I'm just too starved for dopamine without exercise, I quit nicotine recently too though so I'm sure that doesn't help.

[–]Andgelyo7 points8 points  (0 children) | Copy

You may be on to something. I had a herpes scare last summer/spring and refrained from jerking off because the thought of sex disgusted me. Didn’t jerk off for I believe two weeks straight and when I found out I didn’t have it, I wanted to fucking rip up women. I swear my cock has never been that hard since. Felt like my dick legit grew half an inch from normal size and could’ve broke down walls.

[–]reluctantly_red16 points17 points  (1 child) | Copy

No need -- the boost is just short term. I had my testosterone levels checked last month. I'm a bit above average despite being over 50 and masturbating at least twice a day. Indeed it relaxes me and helps me sleep -- two essentials for good T-levels.

[–]Muskismyidol0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Your experience seems to be much different than mine. I attempted the whole NoFap thing for much of 2017 even going as high as 60 days celibate and every streak just made me anxious and killed my sex drive. The study you reference to as well even says testosterone goes back to baseline after day 7, so I don't know why you're denying that.

Jeff Nippard (youtuber) has a fantastic video explaining numerous scientific studies about the facts behind testosterone in relation to fitness.
I could not recommend his "science explained" videos more. He cites studies, shows the data, and even discusses caveats.

The better advice is to get your testosterone levels checked at the doctors, if your levels are low the only way to significantly increase them is TRT treatments.

Diet, sleep and exercise will only make minor changes to testosterone levels.

It's amazing how much bullshit and bro science is getting upvoted in this thread. Video games? No fap? Sugar? None of these are scientifically significant at all, please do some real research before displaying things as facts.

[–]CirculativeSir7 points8 points  (1 child) | Copy

Exactly. When I was diagnosed with 220 ng/dl I was doing 5x5, sleeping 9+ hours a night, eliminated a lot of stress from my life and eating healthy at maintenance/slight surplus.

How do you feel on them vs off? And do you cycle off or still on a regimen?

[–]GiveItARestYhYh10 points11 points  (1 child) | Copy

Quick Reference list :

  • Lift heavy
  • Improve sleep
  • Eat a well balanced diet / don't cut fat
  • Supplement with multivitamins & minerals (zinc especially)
  • Keep hydrated
  • Take steps to reduce stress
  • Reduce / quit porn & masturbation
  • Lay off alcohol & drugs (even caffeine)
  • Avoid soy & other foods high in phytoestrogens
  • Increase female interaction

[–]S-Blaze29 points30 points  (5 children) | Copy

Video games I used to be a pretty big gamer in my sparetime, competitive games like counter-strike and league and whatever they are easily stressful and shoot cortisol up. Something to take in moderation or drop at all if you want the best of yourself or you're starting TRP and want a quick fix. Fapping is something to drop too. I dont game these anymore or rarely the testosterone benefits are real, mood, more gains, deeper voice, bolder, magnetic, I feel fucking good. Minimize useless stress for a healthier life.

Sunlight and vitamin D also increase test production.

[–]TheRealJesusChristus13 points14 points  (4 children) | Copy

Yeah, i stopped fapping since about 1 week. Just casually not planned. And i didnt shave my beard (it now looks very.... well unclean or something, not really dirty, i wash it, but you know, hair looking in every direction, just wild), and i notice girls noticing me more than ever. I think its a combination of both.

Oh and the last 3-4 weeks we only had sunshine.

[–]S-Blaze17 points18 points  (1 child) | Copy

Nofap is huge. Before it became a ''known'' thing I always avoided fapping for a week or two prior to events/party/date whatever to great success always had girls drawn to me. It just made sense in my mind that I had to abstain if I wanted a girl. But pulling girls and their attention easily is just one of the benefits of keeping that mojo. Real sex is a mutual transmutation so its quite different.

I want the summer, here in Quebec we barely get any sun during winter and the exposure is not enough to really produce vit D. D3 pills help but its not the same thing.

[–]TheRealJesusChristus6 points7 points  (0 children) | Copy

Yeah, costa rica has its benefits. Especially in the dry season. Only sun all day long for almost half a year (only one or two hours per week exception) and even the wet season has a lot of sun.

I just didnt want to jerk off. And when I finally got my lust, i didnt really have the time, so i didnt do it. I feel much better. I always thought nofap people are crazy. They seem to have got something right. I may try to nofap as long as I can. Lets see. I dont have a wifi router right now anyways. This may helps to not watch porn and therefore not jerking.

[–]no_its_a_subaru4 points5 points  (1 child) | Copy

Don’t know if you need/want the advice or not, but from an “experienced” beard grower get a boar bristle brush and some beard oil. I intentionally go for the wild man look because from what I’ve observed women are tired of the perfectly crafted hipster facial hair. Go figure, women don’t like when a man takes longer to touch up his beard than they do to put on makeup. The bristle bush helps spread natural oils and remove grime from it, and the oil moisturizes. Most women are pleasantly surprised when they think your beard is going to give steel wool a run for its money but it’s actually soft, well soft for facial hair but you get the point.

[–]TheRealJesusChristus4 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy

Wow, thanks. Im 21 and my dad shaves, so your advice is very welcome. I didnt even know there is a beard oil. I will do some more research on it

[–]Kinbaku_enthusiast6 points7 points  (7 children) | Copy

studies have indicated that high testerone is correlated with reduced depression

This is unsurprising. On the big five personality scale, when a man increases his excercise (and thus testerone), it reduces the trait known as neuroticism (or vulnerability to negative emotion). Neuroticism is a measurement of things like (social) anxiety and can cause people to be more avoidant of situations and generally be more withdrawn.

Noteably this is independant of extraversion/introversion. People we typically think of as "shy" are more often than not, high in neuroticism, not necessarily introverts.

Women do not get the same bemefit from excercise.

This is one of the few ways in which personality traits can be modified that i know off. The other is drugs, like mushrooms, that increase your openness by a full standard deviation for at least a year after your last trip.

Which is one reason I'll never take a mushroom trip.

[–]mmishu0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

Can I get some sources? Would like to read more about this. And if you wouldnt mind elaborating that would be nice too! Neuroticism is the only adjustable trait? Thats a great thing for neurotic men then is it not?

What about openness? If you can alter it to be more open can't you also do the opposite?

Again, would like to see some more sources/reading material on this. Especially interested in the personality traits of conscientiousness and extraversion. (I thought one of them was industriousness)

Does Jordan Peterson ever talk about this? The effects of exercise on neuroticism?

[–]Kinbaku_enthusiast0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Jordan Peterson's talks is what got me onto this, but I also read the studies at the time to see if it seemed to hold up or not (and I'm a layman, fyi). It has however been some months ago.

As far as I know this is the only scientific evidence that traits can be changed. Jordan Peterson was also involved with and there the claim is made that with long and hard work (like through their other purchasable product, self-authoring), some or most of these traits can be adjusted somewhat or at the very least, accomodated for.

Unfortunately for you, I did not keep a log of this, so you would have to do your own research to verify/confirm and to find the answers to your questions.

I'm pretty sure Peterson talked about excercise on neuroticism in one of his patreon question videos.

[–]andy_hoffman-1 points0 points  (4 children) | Copy

So if I'm reading you right, you think being narrow-minded is a desirable trait?

[–]Kinbaku_enthusiast3 points4 points  (2 children) | Copy

I think each trait can have benefits and disadvantages. Even neuroticism, as it can make you sensitive to discord, which has its advantages. Typically I'd prefer lower neuroticism, as it means you're less vulnerable to negative emotion and therefor more dependable, and more stable.

As for openness, I consider the west run amock with openness, with lack of real borders and border control. I do contemplate about the effects of the sex drugs and rock and rolls of the 70's and how that made them more open and therefor, left the west more vulnerable to.... I guess infiltration is the right word.

Breaking down walls and borders sounds nice. Easy to make sentimental propaganda for it. But consider for example Iraq. Would they not have benefited if their walls had kept out the US soldiers? Now for the muslims in europe, I believe we too would have guarded our walls better, where even people who fought for ISIS are accepted back into society and are regarded as being able to be re-habilitated. If that isn't pathological openness I don't know what is.

You also find it in people that have an almost pathological trust of government and/or media and/or scientists. Openness run amock. Now before you misunderstand me, I consider science and the scientific method to be one of the most important things for assessing truth and advancing humanity. But scientists themselves are still humans, with human motivation and the human capacity for deception for political or other goals. There is a scientism going on that we should never question those who dress in the garb of scientists typically under the garb of " scientific consensus", as if there is ever time that all scientists agree on something.

In current mainstream culture, it's UNACCEPTABLE not to be high on the openness scale. That is how it's clear that it's pathological openness.

And I think that this assessment is underscored by the fact that you choose to define low openness as narrow-minded.

The advantages of lower openness is that you deal better with routine of work, have a smaller range of interest (and can therefor focus better) and have lower tolerance of other worldviews, something which I consider healthy in the ever more fracturing world and culture of today.

Doesn't giving up the power to take care of yourself whenever you please kind of take away some personal freedom though? Won't it naturally make you more clingy/reliant on outcomes when approaching women?

[–]GrumblingRose7 points8 points  (5 children) | Copy

The "power to take care of yourself" you reference is actually "the lack of self control". We don't do things whenever we want to, we do things when they are appropriate. Jerking it to porn is never appropriate. Learn to discipline your lust and you learn to discipline other parts of your life, and women love disciplined men

[–]kabuto_mushi0 points1 point  (4 children) | Copy

The "power to take care of yourself" you reference is actually "the lack of self control". We don't do things whenever we want to, we do things when they are appropriate.

I hear you, but still feel confused. I thought the whole idea behind "power" was the ability to change the life circumstances around you. If you feel horny, you don't wait for someone to come along to care of that for you. You either (ideally) actively find a mate to take of it, or if that doesn't happen (because this is real life) take care of it yourself in order to move forward with your day. Obviously if all you're doing is the latter there's a problem, but at least you aren't miserable all day.

Also your point of doing things "when they are appropriate" sounds kinda lame. If I only approached girls when it was "appropriate" I'd never get anywhere. Who gets to decide what is "appropriate" for yourself but yourself?

[–]GrumblingRose4 points5 points  (3 children) | Copy

"When they are appropriate" means doing things which will improve your life, not just in the short run, but in the long run. If you feel horny, you go out and find a mate, because that process of searching and effort teaches you how to approach, how to close, how to be good in the bedroom. What long term benefits does masturbation have? If your body wants to get rid of old/excess sperm you'll just get to enjoy a wet dream.

Why do you have to be miserable if you're horny? Being horny is a fire under your balls, you either masturbate and put the fire out and lose your steam, or you use it as impetus to try harder.

And yes, do approach girls when it's "appropriate", i.e. when they are in a state of mind open to be approached. You think approaching a widow at a funeral is appropriate? How about interrupting someone in the middle of a workout? Or would you rather approach someone dancing at a club, or having a coffee by herself? You're right, YOU are the one who gets to decide what is "appropriate", but please do use your common sense for it.

[–]kabuto_mushi0 points1 point  (2 children) | Copy

Those are all excellent points. But how do I stop and not go insane? Isn't it just a natural thing to do from time to time? Aren't there health benefits?

[–]GrumblingRose1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy

I imagine the folks over at nofap have better guides than I do, but I would first start by identifying what entices you to want to fap. Are you constantly meeting hot girls that you want to bang? Are you bored while at home and fap to kill time? Are you watching arousing videos on youtube or whatever? There are other reasons of course, but these are just the examples I can think of at this point.

Then your response to stop or limit your fapping would be thus be based on the cause. If you're surrounded by hot girls who are constantly blueballing you, that's perfect motivation to up your game. If you fap because you sit around the house and have nothing to do, try to direct your energy to something productive whenever you want to fap, like reading or some other hobby or just leave the house and exercise. If you're exposed to arousing media for whatever reason, maybe it's time to stop being a consumer of trash.

As far as I am aware, there have been ZERO studies that show that fapping has any kind of health benefit. Having sex yes, many studies showing many benefits. But not fapping. As someone said previously in this thread "your body knows the difference". At the end of the day it's all just personal discipline. Pure nofap is something to encourage sure, but you're not going to ruin your life if you fap from time to time. Just be mindful of why you're doing it

Gotcha. So, your post kinda enticed me to do some research a learn about nofap a little bit. Personally I'm not addicted porn or have so many girls that I'm not asking out, but it was a personal way to relax and feel good by myself.

I guess it couldn't hurt to go for a while without and see how it changes my drive. Long term it seems like nofap is about no longer using porn to mb, which is what creates that "false reward" thing. I could go without porn forever, if that makes a difference.

I liked the reference I heard 3-4 months ago that alcohol is like a rifle and aims for certain parts of your brain while weed is like a shotgun blast. Weed kills your IQ hard even if you smoke just once a week.

Vitamin d. Legit raised my total test by 100 (ng/dl) from taking vitamin d supplements for a few months. My vitamin d levels went from 18 ng/ml to 73.

In nature, we'd store vitamin d in our fat cells (usually our livers) during the summer so we had it for the darker and colder months when our skin was covered. Actually, when severely obese people lose weight quickly, they can run the risk of vitamin d toxicity. Perhaps my low body fat worked against me in this regard.

These days, many of us don't get enough in the summer time to last us for the winter. A few years at that desk job and you're fucked.

Note: i'm a caucasian from a warm climate area and a are therefore supposed to be at "low risk" for a vitamin d deficiency. I do, however, have a desk job.

This website's a pretty good resource:

[–]Slut_Slayer90002 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy

Google Dr. Rhonda Patrick. She has some good thoughts on this. She (and Tim Ferriss) agree that a 30 minute epsom salt bath can substitute for a sauna. The main key here is to heat up your body for a prolonged period of time. Sauna is obviously way more efficient, but a bath will suffice. My mental clarity is at its highest when I’m A. Fasting (I typically do one meal a day), drinking lots of water, lifting and doing my post workout bath soaks. I typically read in the bath too so I kill two birds with one stone.

[–]Collector7970 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

How the hell do you hit all your macros in one meal a day? I used IF as a tool to make cutting quite a bit easier, and my body definitely prefers no food in the AM, but I have trouble hitting all my macros later in the day, especially if I'm bulking.

[–]Endorsed ContributorMarsupian3 points4 points  (1 child) | Copy

No limit. You'd puke or cut into your veggie intake before it gets harmful.

There is a possible exception for certain gene polymorphisms connected to saturated fat metabolism and possibly some other gene factors.

Also don't do it in combination with high sugar, (pre)diabetes, cardiovascular disease, obesity, etc. without tracking small sense LDL particle numbers or medical supervision.

If you get tested for small dense LDL you can actually know if what you are doing is bad for you. If you can't and you are at risk it's best to take it safe.

What about natural T boosters ? I have tested two so far (bulbine natalensis and rx24), and I do really feel a difference. I also do all the things mentionned in the video, and probably have T deficiency to begin with (for instance, I have literally zero hair on chest and arms, almost no facial hair either)

[–]1Captain_Save_A_Hoe_0 points1 point  (6 children) | Copy

If they work they are banned by WADA.

[–]Datanami0 points1 point  (5 children) | Copy

What's that ? (I live in Europe)

[–]1Captain_Save_A_Hoe_2 points3 points  (3 children) | Copy

Even if your test booster works its still an oral supplement. Think about what youre doing to your kidneys. Just get the real stuff if youre that desperate its healthier for you.

[–]Datanami0 points1 point  (2 children) | Copy

But a booster simply stimulates natural testosterone production right, it's not the same as taking a direct input of synthetic testosterone. I don't want my balls to shrink or to become absolutely dependant on trt my whole life. I've heard you can't really stop it without side effects because your body reduces natural production when given steroids. Also I don't take these supplements everyday.

[–]1Captain_Save_A_Hoe_0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy

You're in denial and if it boosts your test production its by definition considered a steroid and it probably dosent work.

Very concise and nice post.

The big issue you should tackle beforehand: get a blood test and insist on T-levels as well as zinc, vit d, magnesium and everything else that is offered. Somehow my female family doctor was not so thrilled when a 20 something guy was showing up demanding a T-level test. I guess it's the narrative,, you know men don't have problems except vanity. As it turns out zinc levels were way too high (I supplemented without getting tested just because the BB forums advised to do so) thus decreasing my iron levels and fucking up my metabolism in the process. Anyway my T-levels were all right but vit D was way too low explaining my blue moods once every while.

Increase the zinc in your diet

So I started adding a 50 mg zinc tablet to my daily regimen of supplements. All it did was give me stomach cramps and diarrhea. I already was taking a multivitamin that has 15 mg of zinc in it, which is plenty.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Zinc can do that at high doses. Usually rather more than you were taking, though.

[–]blacklightsleaze0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Oh another testosterone boost tread. Sadly your testosterone levels are based on your genes and even if you do everything right your maximum testosterone level is predetermined.

[–]hiddenpersona0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

All those things can help you balance things out but it won’t higher. Why don’t you invest in TRT and have stable T levels of 900-1200? your life will change for the better guys. You may not accept but every single thought you have, every single decision you make, every result of social interaction you got into is determined by your current hormone levels at that time.

Ever noticed why the people on anti depressants have higher serotonin so they are the social butterflies of the social circle? They are overly loud, ignorant. They make easy friends. People somehow feel magnetic towards them. Why? It is serotonin’s job. But what they are lacking? Dopamine and testosterone. They can’t compete you in any activities that require those. Why do you think the fat guy stuffing his face with sugar and fatty foods seem so confident, loud, energetic? Because he has dopamine advantage over everybody else. Yeah he is gonna crash but he is advanced at that moment. Same with alcohol. And why the hell do you think a guy on testosterone beats the shit out of everyone in the gym or in a fight? Yeah you are right because he has the testosterone advantage. Balance all of those hormones, don’t waste them on stupid shit and you will feel and see what it’s meant to be an alpha and godly man.

My advice is to get on testosterone therapy. This automatically raises dopamine as well. Stay away from sugar candy fast food to have healthy baseline of dopamine. Microdose on magic mushrooms or lsd to increase your serotonin levels for 10 hours.

Now go out and just observe, those things are subconsciously observed by people. You will dominate every single aspect of your life. You will be social, smart, confident, strong, fast and overall feel good. If someone comes into the room and somehow the energy changes and they are more social, it means he has the most active serotonin in the group.

[–]Injoker110 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Um pumpkin seeds are much better sources of zinc than those animal products you listed which tend to be worse for your health. On top of that, unsaturated fatty acids appear to be better for you T levels than those saturated fats as in meats and dairy (dairy has shown to be the worst culprit here, because it actually contains real estrogen as it comes from the tit of a pregnant female cow...). Always the same story with you meatheads who have this crazy belief that eating "manly" aka unhealthy makes you more manly. This goes completely against scientific evidence. Observational studies have shown vegans have slightly higher total T, same free T and lesser of the bad DHT which makes you go bald. If you think going bald early is a good idea to make yourself more attractive to women you're quite the idiot I would say...

All in all, it's just better to focus on health in general, because there are many other benefits besides hormone levels that can help you in the dating game, such as a more yellowish skin, a better natural smell, less sickness and a overall younger appearance. (You don't see women focusing on their estrogen levels all the time do you? No, they just focus on eating healthy, which is ofcourse obvious, because healthy people tend to be more attractive... It's a real no brainer.) I wonder how many of you realize that Brad Pitt for example is a vegan? because I sure as hell didn't until recently... He would laugh at all you idiots trying to get laid by eating more flesh... Only do so if you like clogging your arteries, getting parasites and visiting hospitals...

Another thing I see you "blue" pillers obsess too much over is getting big and bulky. Again, your retardedness shows because almost all studies show the majority of women prefer slightly muscular over very muscular, aka toned over bulky. You just present this false dichotomy between skinny and buff. How about something in between huh imbeciles? How much weights you dropped on your heads? Dominance is generally not that attractive to the opposite sex, it is mainly a male hierarchical thing, how we put each other in our places so to speak... But that's not what you're trying to do here is it? You're trying to ATTRACT, not dominate. It just all sounds very gay if you ask me, why not just start fucking each other in the ass to show your dominance huh?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

When mentioning eating more fat, you didn't mention that in order for that to work, one must AVOID carbs. As little as 23 grams of carbs to be exact. Which is will allow your body to reach ketosis

Another thing to note, is, look into intermittent fasting. Fasting naturally creates HGH. While guys are spending hundreds of dollars a month on hormone replacement therapy all you need to do is time your fasting periods properly.

Eating fat while still eating lots of carbs will literally kill you (cardiac arrest etc.). Also, carbs and sugar break down in your body the same way (hence why your insulin spikes and you over load your body which is why you get hunger pangs).

Look up The ketogenic Diet/Intermittent Fasting and Autophagy. Yes, this is a huge Red pill. Not realizing that you can be in the best shape of your life by avoiding carbs/sugar.

[–]1Captain_Save_A_Hoe_4 points5 points  (1 child) | Copy

You can do IF and be a scrawny kid who gets pushed over because you're the size of a regular female but its okay because your brain produces more HGH to combat the depression of being a pushover by your peers.

[–]Injoker110 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy

Well you can't get all your nutrients on a keto diet, not to mention all the bad stuff that is inevitably linked to animal products (which is what the keto diet is, increased consumption of animal products and reduced intake of plant products). They gave it to cancer patients to slow down the cancer because it's starvation. You might aswell just eat nothing, that also puts you in ketosis.
